A totally relaxing week mid September we hardly needed to venture out from Vera Playa Club, enjoying a well appointed apartment in beautifully kept grounds, lovely big pool, plenty of sunbeds, excellent food and drink, friendly staff and great location right on the fabulous beach and blessed with sunshine everyday.

Just visited hotel for 17th time. We still love hotel but very disappointed that no longer offers all-inclusive which we loved. No idea why they have taken this action. We went half-board and still enjoyed ourselves. Hotel was painted internally in reception last year I think and now they are busy painting the outside. Hotel has charm of its own. People seem to love or hate it!

It is located about 100 km from Almeria airport on Vera beach. We had booked a suite which was very spacious overlooking pool and sea. There was jacuzzi in the room itself. The hotel had a lot of facilities like big pool, spa, sauna, jacuzzi, gym, theatre, 2 restaurants and bars. The garden was kept very well. The beach outside was clean and big. Was here for 10 days with my kids and some family. Lovely hotel, apart from some guests wanting to sit on their balcony naked. The balconies are glass and can see everything 🙈. This is not allowed, go to the front office and explain what's going on. This is not a naturist hotel, they have a sister hotel further down the road for that. Nice 4 stars hotel. Very friendly staff, decent food and easy access to the, usually quiet, sandy beach. The location is irrelevant (fairly remote, which makes the beach with few people only), since the concept is such that leaving the hotel area is unnecessary. We loved everything about this hotel. Staff were awesome, food was great and varied, we're already working out when we can visit again. OK, so the entertainment was always in Spanish and the only thing we could appreciate was some great Flamenco dancing on one of the nights but we'd still revisit.

For the third time, we visited the Valle del Este Hotel, and once again, it was TOP-NOTCH. The outdoor area is well-maintained, the lobby is spacious and airy. Large rooms with a small refrigerator, a balcony with a table and chairs for two. The bathroom is perfectly equipped with a large shower, big bath towels, and smaller hand towels. I’m not usually a fan of dinner buffets, but this is an exception...

Excellent staff, room ready early. Rooms were clean and enough space. Food is buffet style but there was plenty of choice. Great terrace to watch the other golfers come in. Lovely pool area with sun beds. I recommend a stay here. Golf is on site so the car never moved for 3 days.

1 night stop over Good location to get to Desert Springs for the DP world golf event. Managed some practice on the putting green too. Only a 1 night stop over to watch the Q School.

Although they advertised free parking person said only for 2 spots and I would have to find my own parking.

Was ok for a one night stay but wouldn't recommend for a main holiday, unless you're on a tight budget.

We had a lovely stay. The rooms are large all that was missing was tea / coffee making facilities. A great hotel in an easy transport area with amenities ear by. Entertainment was loud but fine and fun and didn’t go on too late. Room sound proofing was great. Breakfast fantastic selection. Pool was lovely. A great stay!

An Englishman in Best Hotel Mojácar. Beds were very comfortable. Compère/presenter announcements were in Spanish only. Balcony furniture very dated and plastic molded chair collapsed when sat on. Satellite tv, no English channels? Staff very polite.

Spotless hotel in great location BUT !!! First the positives, the hotel itself is very large, spacious and spotlessly clean. Situated very close to the beach with handy small but well stocked supermarkets, the rooms are good sized with shower and bath, to and air con. Now the not so good bits if you do not get a sea view/pool view there is an upgrade charge of 8€ per person per night otherwise you...

Great stay for a family vacation. People are always amiable, lively and fun. I regret not having more atmosphere around the pool, with music and a bar. The hotel is spotless, has good views and the catering service is a brand of the Best Hotel chain.

Went with a friend , the hotel was on the outskirts of Mojacar Playa near to the Golf course, so ideal for golfing holiday., and a bus does stop on main road near Hotel to get to the town It’s a big Hotel , over 1,000 people there and boy did we know , mostly Spanish people , it’s their go to place for holidays , they really know how to shout !! We came here on a one night stopover whilst driving from Malaga to Alicante. Chose this place due to its beachside location and it offered parking, which is a rarity. Unfortunately when we arrived, the car park was full. The public car parks at the front and rear were also full, as were all the adjoining streets! so if you are driving please take this into account as it can be really tricky to find...

Room was quite spacious, clean . Plenty storage, TV, en- suite was adequate. Staff were friendly and competent. Pools were really nice, Food was very typical, dining room very spacious. Views are spectacular.

We headed over for a European Track day and this is the second time we’ve been and it is an absolutely fantastic hotel, it’s kept impeccably clean and the staff are so very nice and welcoming and what’s more there is nothing they won’t do to make your stay and experience even better. This is the second time here and Im already looking forward to returning next year.

Strange being in such a big hotel out of season, the pool was great and the manager was kind enough to turn on the kids water for a while so the kids could enjoy the kids pool slides and cannons. We were there on days with no animation so difficult to comment. The receptionists were helpful. The shower in the room smelt very bad when we arrived of feet, but the reception got housekeeping to spray...

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at The Marina Playa hotel the last it time was amazing in June 2025 I am presently staying here again September 2025 It really has deteriorated although the Staff in reception are amazing the people who work behind the bar are not so great service is slow and they are quite belligerent especially the women staff The food this time is poor and believe it or not the...

Sadly have to revise this review downward significantly after stopping in multiple times in the afternoon for so Salmorejo. We had a sea view room that was literally on the beach, the position couldn't be beaten and it was lovely to hear the sea whilst laying in the comfy beds. The breakfasts were great and we enjoyed these on the ample terrace that also fronted the beach. The price for food and drink was reasonable. We would highly recommend the Hotel Continental.

There was 10 of us on our trip for birthday celebrations. The hotel was perfect. Fab location right on the beach great pool and general all round services. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We were made very welcome throughout our visit and because of that we will definitely return.

Good location, friendly staff. Not for families or older people. We (2 adults and a 7 month old child) stayed here for 3 nights and were disturbed by young drunk people within the hotel until gone 12:30am despite several complaints. Won't stay here again.

We encountered a few maintenance issues that were very rapidly sorted out so no problem. Everywhere very clean . For breakfast we had to go to the adjacent sister hotel, no problem for us but if you have mobility issues would suggest you stay...

Although we booked last minute the hotel were very accommodating to request to type of room we wanted. The rooms were lovely great balcony overlooking pool and beautiful little Juliet balcony in the bedroom. Great to have a fridge aswell. Room kept spotlessly clean. This hotel is perfect for a night or two. We will definitely stay again. No frills but it has everything you want in a room. A comfortable bed, spacious, spotlessly clean, air conditioning. Be aware however ******* says check in at 2.30. That’s not the case. You need to check in before 2pm as reception is not 24hrs and it closes at 2 then reopens at 5pm until ? Sorry can’t remember.

Great value resort in Mojacar Great value for money in a fabulous location. The resort lacks a pool but for a couple of nights its perfect with the beach and restaurants close . The room was spacious and good bathroom. Parking was free nera the resort.

On arrival the Gentleman at the desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was on the sea front , 2 single beds very comfortable 😁💤 Very clean . Breakfast is served with Good choice for breakfast. For 2 people is was ideal as it was an overnight stay . Thanks for having us .

This appart hotel is a nice place to stay. It is located at the end of Mojacar beach and is close to all the restaurants and bars. The beach is 5min walk from the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel has a supermarket, a bar, a laundry, a game room, a fitness center and a gift shop. You can Park your car quite easily for free. Just to give 2 bad points : the WiFi you get in the rooms...
