The AC Hotel Palacio Universal, built in the latter part of the nineteenth century and located in the heart of the city, was the meeting point of the bourgeois and intellectual and political elite at the time. It is located in the best area of Vigo, in front of the Marina, near the historical town and not far from the beach and exhibition center. Our Vigo hotel offers minibar, fully equipped bathroom, special amenities in each guest room, AC Lounge, with temporary limited schedule, fitness center, and Turkish Bath. Of all the hotels we have stayed in our trip to Portugal and Spain, I must say this was the top in customer service. We were greeted by Estefania with a big smile and her willingness to give us all the information we needed. She is very professional and always making sure that we were enjoying our stay.

I stayed here during my visit to Vigo, August of 2019. Due to YouTube's algorithm, I was suddenly being fed walking tours of Vigo. This let me reminisce about my visit. Some of the videos showed holiday celebrations in the city, including wonderful lighting displays and a Christmas Marketplace. All within a short walk from the AC Hotel.
I'm looking forward to when I can return to Vigo, whatever the season.

Good hotel
Lovely hotel in the centre of Vigo. Unfortunately the door to the balcony leaked due to the torrential rain we experienced one night.
The bar was not open during our 3 night stay.
Vigo is very, very hilly.

My favourite hotel in Vigo. Fantastic location, good facilities, very helpful and professional staff. Well equipped gym…it has it all. And Santi from reception is a jerk. Repeat non-stop.

Great stay and service with good Covid measures. Very comfortable room and very attentive hotel staff. I would like to highlight the excellent service we received from Santiago and Isabel. Santi made us feel very comfortable!

We have been staying at the AC Palacio for 2 months. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. From housekeeping to front desk. They are wonderful!
First of all, our stay almost didn’t happen. I booked the wrong hotel on the app. Thank goodness that our kind and gracious front desk person-Sante helped figure out the Issue.He then worked with the front desk manager-Isabele to ensure that we had a room for the following 2 months. This was not an easy task, as there were several dates that were fully booked because of events in the city. They went over and above for us that day and everyday thereafter.
I will be forever grateful to AC Marriott staff for making our stay so special.
