Cozy family hotel in the center of Jyväskylä. Fantastic breakfast and dinner, friendly and relaxed service, comfortable bed, quiet room. And the air conditioning in our standard room was well regulated :) The garage is a separate experience: not for the faint of heart :D

A really successful mini-vacation! Communication with the hotel was great and to my surprise I got a parking space with a charger for my electric car in the hall. It's a really big deal when you don't have to worry about charging your car on vacation when you know that the space is reserved and charging is possible! I don't understand why the hotel doesn't advertise this, but I did the work for them and passed the message on :) The breakfast was great, the beds in the room were really comfortable. The air conditioning was a bit weak in the peak temperatures, but just enough.

Best location in the city! Definitely worth while for a visit. Location is as central as you can get, all shops, restaurants and services nearby. Rooms are good, staff is excellent and breakfast was high quality. There were many people coming in the morning just to have breakfast with friends. Breakfast room was little and crowded, but good. Maybe some noise cancelling materials to walls and ceilings could help a little. Enough hardworking staff to clear the tables, so there were always seats available. Fresh bread, good salads, omelet chef and many other things that make it feel nice and cosy.

Definitely best hotel visit in Jyväskylä, specially if you compare the quality/price. Maybe yöpuu could be next step up, but it is more expensive.

Was upgraded to a room with a sauna. Had one of the best night sleeps.

No one at reception to answer my call at 21:30 as I looked for help to turn on the sauna with reduction in rating for service. Other then that staff very friendly.

Car park location was difficult to find.

Me and a companion arrived for a one-night stay in late July 2024. Since the hotel doesn't have any parking very nearby, we followed the extremely complicated instructions on the hotel's website for the parking garage. After navigating to the deepest bowels of the garage all the hotel spots were full. Miraculously we managed to turn our car around and parked on a higher, general parking level. Once out of the garage there were no instructions as to how to get to the hotel. After some wandering about and a few wrong directions we finally found the hotel and commenced to check in. We told the front desk staff of our troubles. The hotel staff gave us a ticket for free parking, which we appreciated. Our troubles continued once in the room - a curtain rod was about to fall down. Again, the hotel staff acted in a very professional manner and gave us a new room. All in all, the service was professional and courteous, the room clean and very quiet and the breakfast delicious. Just fix the parking situation.

Centrally located with on site parking, if you have a large SUV you might struggle as the turns are tight.

Great service at reception with local recommendations of restaurants open late on a Sunday. Hotel itself feels fairly dated but still not run down. Rooms are 8/10 clean, pretty boring decor. Bed is on the softer side with 2 big pillows (for each bed) showering might be a challenge if you have a room with bathtub, it’s narrow and you need good balance. TV remote is not cleaned in a long time and feels sticky. TV itself is too small considering how far away for the bed it is.

I paid roughly 130€ for one night on a Sunday and it’s worth the money. Next time I’ll try Sokos as I’m left with a feeling of needing something a bit more.

All in all a good hotel. Can definitely recommend

The only drawback is that there is no electric kettle, and the front desk said they didn't have one when I asked. The porridge and onion salad for breakfast were very good.

We stayed for one night. The premises were nice and the staff was friendly. And the room is clean and comfy. Breakfast is included with the room and I've enjoyed their egg omelet and coffee.

Plus points
- Friendly staff
- Comfortable bed
- Bathroom is nice and spacious
- They allow early check-in without extra cost, which was nice
- After checking out, we could hang out in the lobby area or keep our luggage in lockers and roam around the city.

The reason I didn't give all the stars is because of the following shortcomings. They should resolve these issues as much as possible otherwise this room is not worth 135 Euros per night/ 2 adults.

-View from the hotel is not good, its just the street
-Room is not very spacious and it was dark
-The temperature inside the room is not warm enough for us so we felt a bit of discomfort.
-There is no electric kettle inside the room or anything to make tea or coffee inside the room, which are usual items must be in a room.
- No free water inside the room (we had to buy a very small bottle for 3€ which was unfair)
-No carpets on the floor and no slippers provided so the floor felt very cold when walking on.
-The breakfast - the only thing we found delicious to eat was the omelet. They need to have more food options.

All in all, we had a positive experience, but it doesn't mean we will check in there again.

Cozy and quiet hotel right in the center of Jyväskylä. There are rooms with private saunas available. Hotel has a bar and a restaurant that are both quite popular. Breakfast is excellent, it stands out from the chain hotels and consists a great variety of local delicacies.
