Where to stay in Jyvaeskyla

The room is clean, but the bed is smaller compare to other hotel for standard room. We checked in on Sunday. And the restaurant is not operating, the room need to walk thru the tunnel and walk back to receptions. Not convenient at all.

Nice hotel. Clean and modern room. Bit fatigue, but still quite a high level of quality. Very friendly and helpful service! Receptionist was super nice and helpful to me. Location is great - in the city center. Breakfast was ok - fresh and many things to chose from.

Best location in the city! Definitely worth while for a visit. Location is as central as you can get, all shops, restaurants and services nearby. Rooms are good, staff is excellent and breakfast was high quality. There were many people coming in the morning just to have breakfast with friends. Breakfast room was little and crowded, but good. Really nice hotel. Great restaurant with open kitchen. Was upgraded to a room with a sauna. Had one of the best night sleeps. No one at reception to answer my call at 21:30 as I looked for help to turn on the sauna with reduction in rating for service. Other then that staff very friendly. Beautiful boutique hotel near the city centre. The room booking included a free one hour sauna session ( what a beautiful spa like atmostphere) and a welcome drink at the wine bar. Just an amazing experience and there is not a better option to explore the Finnish Lakeland than with this houseboat. We had an amazing trip with the 24 sqm Standard Houseboat and did not have any problems at all, the staff were all extremely kind and helpful in any ways and we would love to do it again!

Nice and clean room! The room upgrade was suggested and it was great!

As expected, it is a safe and stable solo sokos group. Although the room felt a little dated, it was well cleaned. Because there are two restaurants on the first floor of the hotel, dinner is not a problem. In addition, breakfast buffet was very delicious. The sauna was separate for men and women, and it was a style to enter naked.

This hotel has an 80s feel to it. It looks like an old bunker and tthe rooms are also... Well vintage. Good breakfast!

To those who go to this hotel, I recommend you to take bus or car and not try to walk since the hotel is located above a steep hill. Don't be fooled by the outside look of the hotel. Though it might look very glim and boring on the outside, it's certainly refreshing inside. It has amazing spa at night, bowling hall, and bar is also available for the night, although it closes fairly soon.

Solo Sokos Hotel Paviljonki was just about a perfect hotel for our stay. The room was lovely and spacious, spotlessly clean and you didn't need anything added to the room. The breakfast was really lovely and the choice of gluten free breakfast items was great.

The room is a bit small but functional. I just wish there is a normal office table and chair☺️ the stuff there is super nice!

The hotel operates on the green concept, even the door key is made from the recycled wood (amazing it is). The location is ideal. Room a bit small, but in view of its location, the tradeoff is worth it. The shopping street/downtown area, marine port and some sightseeing venues are within the walking distance. Coffee is available 24/7, it is a great plus.

We booked here as a treat quite last minute due to impeding circumstances and it was such a lovely stay! The hotel was absolutely beautiful in every corner and the service all around was excellent; The staff can’t do enough for you and the cleanliness is top notch. Pleasantly surprised! I’m usually staying in 4-5 stars, but Omena offered a great alternative when prices peaked. It’s not a hotel you come to enjoy, but for sleeping overnight it’s all good. We wasn't expecting much but the location, simple decor and everything is clean. Honestly you guys are offering a simple no nonsense room. Everything you need. Was apprehensive with no staff but communication was great and simple to access. Stayed here for 10 days as young family, which is obviously far too long but circumstances required us to do so. What really sells this are the amazing views you get from the rooms on the lake side - it is absolutely worth getting one of those. Otherwise it's a fairly basic hotel, a bit dated in terms of interior, but certainly functional and clean.

I was really excited about a hostel with a sauna and hot tub, but the sauna wasn't turned on and the hot tub looked really dirty. The room + location was really nice though and the kitchen was perfect, so still worth it if you don't care about the sauna/hot tub. And the customer service was really friendly.

Time Hostel is a great place to stay if you want to see Jyväskylä and the surrounding area. It's kitchen is top notch and in the dormitory there are big lockers for luggage. Bathrooms look great too.
