Hotel is located next to a pedestrian street, which makes it great for short walks and cocktails on terraces. There is a bar and a restaurant right next to reception, so not a long walk needed. As expected, it is a safe and stable solo sokos group. Although the room felt a little dated, it was well cleaned. Because there are two restaurants on the first floor of the hotel, dinner is not a problem. In addition, breakfast buffet was very delicious. The sauna was separate for men and women, and it was a style to enter naked.

Location was good. But I don't like that I need to drag my luggage through an underpass to my room at another building.

Good hotel location in the center of the city within a short stroll to shopping (Forum, Sokos) and restaurants. Our room though was at the other wing accessible only via a tunnel at level 'K'. Room size is standard size, not particularly large. There is an iron room to wash and dry clothes. The pool and sauna are accessed along 'K' level while the gym is at the annex we stayed at.

The rooms were well-maintained and spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety and selection, with delicious options to start the day. The location is also fantastic, situated right in the city area, making it convenient to explore nearby attractions and amenities. Lots is restaurants within walking distance too.

Scandic Jyväskylä City is centrally and conveniently located, just a block away from the pedestrian street Kauppakatu and close to the city's shopping and restaurants. The hotel spans two buildings and includes a parking garage next to it. Jyväskylä railway station is also very close. The room was old-fashioned but spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast room was large and not too crowded...

The room is clean, but the bed is smaller compare to other hotel for standard room. We checked in on Sunday. And the restaurant is not operating, the room need to walk thru the tunnel and walk back to receptions. Not convenient at all.

Solo Sokos Hotel Paviljonki was just about a perfect hotel for our stay. The room was lovely and spacious, spotlessly clean and you didn't need anything added to the room. The breakfast was really lovely and the choice of gluten free breakfast items was great.

The hotel operates on the green concept, even the door key is made from the recycled wood (amazing it is). The location is ideal. Room a bit small, but in view of its location, the tradeoff is worth it. The shopping street/downtown area, marine port and some sightseeing venues are within the walking distance. Coffee is available 24/7, it is a great plus.

Stayed Sat-Sun for one night. Very good breakfast although nothing remarkable. We enjoyed it a lot and ate our tummies full. No specialty coffees available but mini croissants, pancake squares, fruit, smoothies, scrambled eggs and all the necessities made the best hotel breakfast in a while. It was a great property. It does not have easy access for the front desk as you can not drive up to drop off bags. But it is a great location, the staff were very friendly, and the room and beds were comfy. The hotel parking wasn’t very well organized either.

My only complaint unfortunately is something that made a big difference in how we felt: We were there for our wedding weekend and this was not acknowledged by the hotel at all. Best location in the city! Definitely worth while for a visit. Location is as central as you can get, all shops, restaurants and services nearby. Rooms are good, staff is excellent and breakfast was high quality. There were many people coming in the morning just to have breakfast with friends. Breakfast room was little and crowded, but good. Really nice hotel. Great restaurant with open kitchen. Was upgraded to a room with a sauna. Had one of the best night sleeps. No one at reception to answer my call at 21:30 as I looked for help to turn on the sauna with reduction in rating for service. Other then that staff very friendly. This is a delightful little gem, perfect for families. The property has a great restaurant, a wonderful buffet breakfast, and superb pool, hot tubs, and saunas. I also has wonderful entertainment possibilities, with ping pong, pool table, and even a little bowling alley.

Amazing hotel in every way! I could write a 500word story about how great this hotel is, it was the first time for me and my colleague in Jyväskylä and we could not have found a better hotel! Excellent warm welcoming staff. Good breakfast. Eco consideration poor. Heating could be turned down particularly in bedrooms. As usual no sink plugs, hence large water wastage.

Pleasantly surprised! I’m usually staying in 4-5 stars, but Omena offered a great alternative when prices peaked. It’s not a hotel you come to enjoy, but for sleeping overnight it’s all good. All rooms in third floor are brand new and more like 3-stars (than 2) in quality. The 1st floor is currently being renewed, so just make sure you don’t get the old rooms in 2nd floor. Kind of no reception hotel. There is micrwowave and kettle int the room but no plates cutlery or mugs. Only paper glasses.

Good A good stay! The rooms may be a little dated but clean. Only issues I had were that the code locks sometimes took a few attempts to work, and during the morning or my departure there was some loud drilling happening in the property. But good and safe overall, thanks!

Beautiful boutique hotel near the city centre. The room booking included a free one hour sauna session ( what a beautiful spa like atmostphere) and a welcome drink at the wine bar. Rooms are clean and unique. The breakfast was the star of the stay. Great variety of food with also non traditional options. Loved the stay!
