Despite being located near the motorway, it doesn't cause any disturbance. Nesr the place os also a bird watching tower. We had some problems like dirty cups in the room, called the reception and took them an hour to come "replace" the cups but was just wiped and brought back to us, cups were still dirty from the inside. No soap on the bathroom. Noticed hair on the supposed to be clean towels and dirty...

Great little hotel close to the motorway. Visited here while working for 8 Solutions in a local Data Center at Hamina just before Christmas 2014. Staff friendly and have great English. In fact there's an English class held here for the town's younger population. We stayed here as a B&B with evening meals and the Breakfast was great with an all you can eat style but obviously biased towards a Finnish...

Nice and cheap to stay here. Sauna is available for guests.

Overall, not bad. Took the easiest room for 96 euros. I will not describe the unpleasant. You can even sleep

The hotel, as the name implies, is located on a beach as part of a small resort with camping and caravanning. At the beginning of September the hotel was very empty. On arrival we were told that we had to have eaten by 1800 when the cook goes off and indeed we were the only people in the restaurant that evening. We were surprised at how small the hotel room was. The room was really clean, but there was no space for our belongings. The pillows were horrible and the room was hot. Unfortunately we had a really bad night's sleep. Fortunately the breakfast was good!

We could not have had a better place for our last night in Finland before heading back home. A little remote, quiet and peaceful. Small but very clean rooms which were renovated. A good selection for the breakfast made the stay even more pleasant. We only would have wished that the restaurant would be open in winter.

Delightful peaceful location with beach access, nature walk & family friendly play facilities close. We stayed two nights in a two bedroom family room & were impressed with how they fitted the facilities into a small space.

I didn't expect a much but the small hotel (or motel) was quite good. Small room but renovated recently. Everything was clean and new, nice view, own balcony. However the breakfast was less than average, but it costs only 11€. There are sauna world available but we didn't test it. Camping area, mini golf and beach also available

An amazing and extremely comfortable resort close to the city of Kotka, located in the woods, equipped with a large beach and several saunas options. The resort consists mainly of indipendent apartments with sea view

Spent 2 nights with our caravan on a touring holiday so no comments for the rooms. 4 miles from Kotka which has a number of lovely parks. Pitches are all a good size with some drive through.

The place is really nice, especially in summer. Good area for tents and accommodations, but for the 5th ⭐ I would recommend to equip the bathrooms with baby changing area, there was only 1 space not according. On the other hand the beach is very close, 5 minutes walking and it is nice.

A very special place for family holidays. We stayed at the cabin. Very complete, but small: 4 beds, kitchen, dinning table and toilet with shower. With terrace and parking spot. The view is amazing, with seaseigh. Nice walking around the forest. Sauna, mini golf and restaurant.

Excellent little relaxing resort got to use the sauna and having breakfast which was great. Not a big fan of the electrical transfer grid wiring on the outside stretching over the water but I got used to and forgotten it during the great time with spending time on a relaxing and quiet place. Absolutely would recommend with a great price to offer. Parking is well maintained

The idea is better than the outcome, but a very pleasant mansion some 10 km away from downtown Kotka. Beautiful riverside and all in all nice surroundings, including a pleasant surprise park 10 minute walk away.

Beautiful old building with many charming details both inside and out. Our room was very large but singles in our party had normal sized rooms. The breakfast was fabulous with many choices for an American or European palate. Just a heads up, there is no A/C. We visited in the fall so this wasn't an issue for us. Overall, I highly recommend.

Maybe it wasn't the hotel's fault, but I bought a double room for one night, but I got two single rooms, not quite working for a couple. Otherwise, the service is quite good

A very good summer hotel. In a beautiful location near Kotka's beautiful alpine rose park in Sapoka. The marina, Meriniemi beach restaurant, Tulikukko and Maretarium are just a few steps away. From the top floor of the hotel, there is a beautiful view of the sea to the Kotka archipelago, which exudes centuries of history.

College hostel. Each has its own bedroom. Everything is there in the kitchen. No TV and no air conditioning. But cheap and right in the park and on the beach. Places for walking and swimming nearby. Parking is free. I like it. The photo is a view from the balcony. Breakfast is good. Porridge, eggs, vegetables, brewed coffee. The last photo shows the hotel on a hill right in Sappoka Park.

The good location of the summer hotel, near Sappoka Park, the shore of the bay. From the balcony and from the kitchen of the extreme block there is a stunning view of the bay. The block has a spacious room, equipped kitchen, shower and toilet. There is a continental breakfast.

Great location right in the Park and on the beach, all reachable on foot. Clean spacious rooms with a private kitchen.

I stayed at Original Sokos Hotel Seurahuone, Kotka during my business trip from Korea. The bedding and the room were very clean, and all the staff members were kind and dedicated. I was very satisfied with my stay and would gladly recommend this hotel.

Surprisingly there seas a mirror above our bed, but luckily I was with my wife so it was good fun. Room with Sauna was good, breakfast was OK. Definitely recommend. Will return again.

Annoyed recepcionist Love the hotel have been there before, however at the check out the receptionist was not the most friendly I would say. The room was prepaid she said if I wanted an invoice I have to go to the app where I booked and get it there. I really enjoy my stay there. The food is great, people are kind and helpful, friendly guests. And the sauna is very very nice!

Value for money The hotel was better than expected considering the low price. Rooms are small but clean and in good condition. Refrigerator and kettle provided. It was a good base for touring the area. A pretty park close by. Good breakfast.

The single rooms are spacious. Reception in English was available all the time. Very cooperative and friendly. Expect the breakfast is not allowed to take away. They have very limited vegan and vegetarian options.

I loved this place! The cottage is nice (the neighbors are very close, but they didn't bother me at all), sauna has the best "löyly" in awhile and it´s all right beside the ocean. And there´s more: the village Tiutinen is just a wonderful place to walk around and breathe that fresh sea air. I'd visit the place again anytime!

Cozy place with ideal location The best thing about this hotel is its location, ideal for easily reaching interesting events or happenings in this big-size small town. The second best is the possibility of using spa services, for which, however, there is seldom enough time during short stays.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Although we had a language barrier, they were empathetic and great. Always offer me a coffee if I happen to drop by.

Quiet and calm. We had a 2-room suite, which felt a bit small with 2+3 pax. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast restaurant wasn't that accessible, food lane crowded up with only about 15 people eating, most tables where up a small flight of stairs. Spa section was actually a swimming hall open also for the general public.
