The hotel, as the name implies, is located on a beach as part of a small resort with camping and caravanning. At the beginning of September the hotel was very empty. On arrival we were told that we had to have eaten by 1800 when the cook goes off and indeed we were the only people in the restaurant that evening. Unfortunately the 14 or so rooms are all on the first floor and there is no lift! The outside sauna looked as though it had seen better days and was closed. There was a reasonable choice of foods at breakfast, particularly given that we were alone, although the fried eggs looked as though they had been cooked yesterday.

We were surprised at how small the hotel room was. The room was really clean, but there was no space for our belongings. The pillows were horrible and the room was hot. Unfortunately we had a really bad night's sleep. Fortunately the breakfast was good!

The hotel is located in a beautiful location by the sea, close to good outdoor activities. About 6 km from the center of Kotka. Good and friendly service. Well-equipped room: kettle and refrigerator. Good views from the rooms on the sea side. Pros: good location, good service, beautiful place, breakfast OK, refrigerator and kettle in the room. Cons: strange smell in the hotel, no elevator (not suitable for people with disabilities), poor TV channel selection, poor soundproofing, no air conditioning (especially in summer can be a problem), poorly built bathroom with an high step. Quite a decent hotel for one night.

We stayed on 18th april 2025 in room 3, eventhough in the advertiesment they says there is balcony access, balcony was locked due to a renovation and they didn’t convay that to us until we check in to the room. Further from the wash room drain water came in to the washroom little bit. Rooms are not sound proof at all.

We could not have had a better place for our last night in Finland before heading back home. A little remote, quiet and peaceful. Small but very clean rooms which were renovated. A good selection for the breakfast made the stay even more pleasant.

Delightful peaceful location with beach access, nature walk & family friendly play facilities close. We stayed two nights in a two bedroom family room & were impressed with how they fitted the facilities into a small space.

Exellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Food is great and delicious, and wifi working exellent. Rooms are very nice with a great view, very clean rooms and hotel lobby. Location is nice with beautiful nature and good for walking.

Nice and calm place.
Staff was helpful when we needed clean sheets, but the guy also complained about it.
We where there late autumn, so it was often dark in the hours we were at the hotel, and we weren't outside much. Very beautiful nature, exept the power lines. It was a cozy room. Nice bathroom.
Sadly the restaurant was closed in the evenings when we where there.
