A great way to experience the Arctic Circle. We did not see the lights but the beauty of the place was worth the journey. The XC skiing was excellent and the snowmobiling was fun. Bundle up and expect high prices!

This by far one of the most interesting hotels I have ever stayed in. I loved the service. The staff is very friendly and willing to help and advise on anything. The local restaurant makes a delicious food. The breakfast does not change from day to day but dinner does and everyday is as good as the day before. I'd recommend this place anytime.

i stayed in the east village igloo which is nearer to the main check in lounge and with a clearer view. It belongs to the "bucket list" kind of accommodation. We were doubtful of the service standards we saw on tripadvisor but it was nothing like this in reality. Enjoyed our stay there. Very cozy lounge, best hotel to do all Lapland Winter activities. They have spa and sauna facilities . Sauna is functional only 3-9 pm so could not use it. Book your Aurora spa in advance as it is mostly full.

Holiday Club has beautiful apartments with in build Sauna and Barbeque space. The kitchen is well equipped with good utensils. They also have hot dryer to dry clothes. The bed are also cozy to sleep in. The location is very nice as the ski resort is just 400m away from the place. There are lot of restaurants and groceries store nearby. These Appartment are value for money.

I stayed at an apartment with my family for 5 nights. The apartment was well equipped with furnished kitchen. The rooms were comfortable and warm. The reception was a bit far for us from the apartment considering walking in snow with a toddler. A fantastic place for a trip to the Arctic Circle. There are a lot of activities to do in the vast grounds. It is especially recommended for those with children.

The hotel was clean, but there were no amenities. The shower had limited hot water and got cold quickly.

I feel that the level of hotel waiters varies greatly. Some are very enthusiastic, while others are very bad. Especially the guy who came to the room to light the fire. I even suspect that he has ****. It is really scary. The hotel environment is beautiful, but the indoor hygiene is not very clean. There are food crumbs on the quilt... The breakfast is also mediocre, and the dinner is unpalatable....

Enjoy our stay. It’ll be better if they can provide shutter between aurora building, Kello and art gallery.

Everything - beautiful little cabin, great location, staff were amazing (Juuso was our main man start to finish and he was superb, so helpful and friendly, recommending things to do and restaurants, driving us about and sorting stuff out for us). The location is beautiful! Juuso and Nicky were such amazing host! They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best vacation. One of the places to remember forever! We received the most wonderful hospitality from Juuso and Nicky. Never met owners/hosts that are so dedicated. They cared so much about their guests and went beyond to help us see the northern lights. The cabins have excellent views and the walks to the city are a great experience by itself. Quite a basic hotel but lovely atmosphere for all of the Lapland antics 😀🎅 Kids loved the buffet breakfast and dinner and easy access to great sledge/toboggan Hill ( bottom of ski piste) and the Artic Cirlcle Centre. Magical with the wintery landscape. Warm cosy and Perfect for a few days in the Artic circle as long as you don't expect the Ritz 👍

Very large and nice room with own sauna! We had a very special dinner in a Finnish hut - kota; they even cooked a very delicious vegan meal for us. Great place!

We actually stayed in Gielas rather than Tunturi, but for some reason that won't come up. Our room was lovely and the housekeeping team did a great job when they came in to service the room. The beds were comfy. We had tea/coffee making facilities and a sauna in the room. Restaurant staff were absolutely amazing!!!!!! So friendly and polite. We even had wine recommendations to go with our meals...

The staff is amazing. The food is also good. The location couldn't have been better. You can see the reindeer while you have breakfast (in summer time at least). They have 5 restaurants, a disco, a pool (billar) to play, 4 bars. What else do you need?

Nice place for two adults, floors cool, but slippers were for the house. Plus landscapes from skylights, e.g. starry sky in clear frost and heated windows. Note that it often winds in the fell and there are no trees to protect, so bring warm clothing.

Excellent accomodation, with excellent scenes, excellent facilities, excellent location and comfortable bed. My unit is the first unit at the east, so I can see sunrise every morning. Few hundreds meter walk to Kaunispää tower can see aurora.

We stayed in a cottage indimenticabile.Il Arran holiday is really at the edge of the forest, great location and full of nature. The kitchen is equipped with all comforts and the kitchen is well equipped. We were lucky enough to see the aurora borealis 3 times, a real delight. The owner helped us step by step in the booking and also for the activities we did. We hope to be back!

Absolutely out of this world. This place is ideal. No TV or radio in rooms or in communal areas. Only Wi Fi. Like old days where people communicate by talking to one another. Meals could have been hotter but that was only fault. Accommodation was clean and sleek. Minimal storage in rooms. Snow suits and boots provided. Activities were great. No complaints. Would certainly recommend.

Nice place to watch the northern lights in the middle of a quiet wildernes. Reideers walking throug the yard. Peace and relaxing place for people to experience the real Lapland. Good sauna and food. On the end of a small road, but there is space even to turn around a 15 meters long buss.

Excellent place for a Lappish holiday, I stayed there with my dog and it was very convenient and nice. Beds are comfy, lots of space. The location is close enough to the centre but also quiet and rustic. The only criticism is that it wasn’t absolutely clean - some hair in the shower drain, rings of old food around the cooking rings, dishes not clean.

Rooms were amazing, everything you need and cozy. Sauna was good. Very confusing to find the check in but it seems to be because of temporary relocation due to fire. Good value. Location not ideal but not problematic. Would be amazing in a better location and with a view.

Accomodation is small and okay. Everything you need and very clean. You get breakfast vouchers and you can have breakfast 300m away. But - let's not call that breakfast. It was the most terrible "breakfast" i ever had based on quality and number of choices.

Decent pricing and accommodation, lacks some finishing. Audio equipment is old and does not function with smartphones, TV is bad and signal is poor. Bed is amazing and hotel room is beautiful.

Stayed here for a few nights in the off-season. The room and the building were nice and the interior was fresh and new. It was nice to have a private sauna time. The soundproofing turned out to be pretty bad and the breakfast was mediocre at best, but the price was super cheap for such a nice room and the location was so good that the negatives didn't really matter too much.

The log cabin style is nice and cozy. Beds are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very mediocre - if you have the option, don’t pay for it, and just buy the food yourself and make it in your room. Kiilopää fell Center is the place to go when you want an easy access straight from the hotel door to the Lappish wilderness. Can't get any closer than this😊 For hotel guests, electric saunas and river dipping included, as well as guest fridge and drying closets.

One of the best public smoke saunas that I have visited as a Fin. Rooms are not brand new but made to last (e.g. traditional Lundia lamps). Double doors with good sound proofment. Receptions was kind and there was couple local guides on their desk informing about the hiking routes. Not a party place, neither is the Saariselkä. Small shop next to front desk, but nothing special. Bus visiting regularly...

Great place next to the national park. We had a lovely stay in one of the wooden cabins. Also a great place to see the Northern Lights because there is no light pollution.

This is center where is restaurant, small souvenir shop, gear renting (bikes, cross country skiing, snowshoes), small camping area etc. You can easily enter UKK national park and go to top of Kiilopää Fell. Nice new cottage .. Suitable for a small family. The fuses did not last 13 A charge and now there is one phase off. The main fuse is gone. And there was no key to the main center. Notification to the maintenance man is not at least 24h on call. Well, this isn't so urgent right now. 2 steps still work. For now.
