This is a good hotel in the center of Turku. It is a modern hotel with decent rooms. The room was large, clean and quiet with a view of the main city square. Breakfast was tasty with a good range of things to eat. The hotel is in a good location - in the center of the town and only a few minutes walk from the river.

I would recommend it to everyone without reservation. It was a really good breakfast!

A very nice hotel, suitable for vacation travel. It is far from the city. There are singers and bands performing on weekends, and you can experience local features such as saunas.

Good sized room with comfortable bed. Hotel was clean inside and breakfast was good, full of variety for all tastes. Spa was less than expected and basic refreshments were expensive. While checking in, the staff showed no enthusiasm. No feeling of welcome even in the Finnish language. Entertainment in the evening was quite dull also. Yes it's nice to relax sometimes, but this felt more like a retirement...

This hotel gives the impression that it had its heyday in the 1970s and not changed much since. Nearly everything looks a bit run down and dirty. Most of the time, there's very annoying elevator music playing all through the house. Staff are reasonably friendly, but don't seem very happy about working here. The spa is okay, if basic. The food is a mixed bag, a la carte was pretty good, if quite expensive...

Really nice and peaceful place! We were traveling with a dog and were pleasantly surprised when we found bowls and dog treats in our room. The territory next to the hotel is well maintained, with a beautiful view of the pier from the garden. We liked everything except the food in the restaurant. The buffet was expensive but the choice of dishes was very small.

Could update the rooms a little bit but it was nice anyway. Kind of stuck in the 90s. Food was decent and location is awesome. It's difficult to get any services from the Spa if you don't book well in advance.

Nice location in the middle of Turku's shopping pedestrian street. They have parking available. Really good service and friendly staff. Breakfast was phenomenal as always with Scandic, with clearly marked vegan options. Unfortunately the room was quite small with rather uncomfortable hard beds and not great pillows.

Located next to the centre and all the activities, with polite staff and great rooms. The only bad side is the quite expensive parking near the place, if you are coming with a car or course. Highly recommend it for anyone staying in Turku.

Our first breakfast was nightmare, there were too many people. There are two bistros and it may be confusing which breakfast you should be. I think the staff was doing their best, but every second food item was running low. Second morning there were half less people and breakfast was relaxing and we enjoyed the experience. Great in many ways. Comfortable beds, clean big quiet rooms, great breakfast and friendly staff. Could be even better: Add fresh orange juice for breakfast. Info on sauna details could be made more clear for foreigners already in the lobby or clearly in the room. Service friendly but not very fast.

Located on top of Kupittaa railway station. Next to the hospital and a business district. Has some parking in the basement, and only 4 EV chargers. Luckily there are more of both just across the road. Rooms are nice. Little on the smaller side, but clean and comfortable. My biggest gripe is the build quality of the building itself. The interior walls are flimsy and shake when someone closes a door...

I booked the hotel because of its great location, just above the railway station Kupittaa as currently trains from Helsinki stop here and not in Turku main railway station. Good basic hotel in general, the breakfast buffet was clearly better than average with wide selection and taking into account e.g. special diets and so forth.

Me and my girlfriend had a pleasant stay in Scandic Julia for one night in the beginning of May. Location of the hotel is superb with a short walk to main square, to the river and to Turku Cathedral. Nice hotel, mediocre gym but really great breakfast

City Center location Have stayed here before, a couple of times.. like the location, the restaurant is ok, breakfast is very nice, roof top bar also very nice. The parking is ok, but when the departmentstore is closed you have to walk all the way around outside with the luggage… not so convenient.. the rooms are ok, but a little boring and worn. Lovely as always We tried a superior room and we can say that we prefer the standard. Bed was too soft and also there were more sounds then when we had room with window not pointing to tori area. As always excellent staff and room was clean and well lit. We only had one hand towel but it was fine since we were only staying one night.

You guys have the best shampoo ever XD. Everything was perfect. And gosh I wished I could find that shampoo where I live I will come again if I ever have the opportunity again [Edit-reply] Yes it was lumene's products however they told me they only sell that shampoo to you/ hotels. The shampoo avaible on their website are not the same as the nordic collection you have in your rooms

Friendly staffs. Reasonable price. Good quality rooms. There is no slippers or iron in the room (I dont need it but someone else may need to know).

Very convenient location, rather cheap for Finland. Recommended if you stay for one night or need to check in very late (which is possible until 0130).

A lovely inn near Kupittaa train station. Located in a quiet neighbourhood. Grocery store nearby. The service was stellar and I loved the “movie star” themed room! Spacious bathroom, all the amenities I could have hoped for, and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay again!

A wonderful place! I have spent my three months with happiness and joy. Excellent amenities. Despite having a huge, beautiful public kitchen I also had a kitchenette in my room. Life was good. And the landlady is simply adorable, so supportive and so friendly. Thanks Anna-Maija

Short stay, but nice. I had a small single room and it was simple but good! I didn't expect much because I read previous reviews, so maybe that's why I think it's good. Nothing to complain of.
