The rooms are basic but there is everything you need. I used the hotel to take an early flight from Turku airport and it was a good choice because the airport is only 10’ by car. Breakfast is ok. Parking is free but you must remember to type your license plate on the tablet at the entrance. There is no reception but all the info are sent by email and SMS

At the restaurant, great lunch, medium price, I liked

Despite lacking any traditional reception, signing in to the room was easy and quick. The hotel is a comfortable stay, with a basic but tasty breakfast buffet in the morning. Very clean and quiet, great value!

I rolled in the pub. It was sad to hear that they have been in operation for half a year already. I would say the lack of advertising... Nicely renovated, themed nights are welcome and the staff is, to say the least, excellent. This is what the West Center of Turku needs!

Overall the room was clean and nice. There was some problems though. WC seat was broken and we had to put the blanket inside the cover ourselves. And there was no extra pillow and the only one was very low. Breakfast was quite good.

This hotel is like a little oasis right in the middle of a red light district. The interior is very eclectic but comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Friendly helpful staff, central location, bike storage facilities, good WiFi, many extras provided, cosy, welcoming, like being at home in a one bedroomed apartment where the bedroom has 8 beds in it.

Basic hotel with comfortable beds and general design, location is just perfect. There's no reception at all in the place, there's no other facilities to make you more comfortable. If you really want to enjoy your stay in Turku, you better stay in kylpylä like Holiday Club Caribia, prices are different but totally different atmosphere!!

It is an experience. A new hotel with all the gizmos you can get in a hotel room, at an old prison. You would have expected a depressing experience, but they have created excellent rooms and kept the history of the place everywhere else. Great job!

Great location and nice rooms.

Nice location in the middle of Turku's shopping pedestrian street. They have parking available. Really good service and friendly staff. Breakfast was phenomenal as always with Scandic, with clearly marked vegan options. Unfortunately the room was quite small with rather uncomfortable hard beds and not great pillows.

Located next to the centre and all the activities, with polite staff and great rooms. The only bad side is the quite expensive parking near the place, if you are coming with a car or course. Highly recommend it for anyone staying in Turku.

Booked a room for 3 adults. Located on top floor. Room was spacious and clean. Very quiet. Good location, right in front of bus station and 10min walk from main square. Good location, right next to the river. Rooms are very outdated and worn down. The air in the room stands still. Feels like there is no oxygen. Receptionist just told us that is because there is no airconditioning but it almost feels like that the rooms are not ventilated at all. Beds are nice and we enjoyed the breakfast as well.

The reception service is amazing! We had some need for help out from normal hotel duties and we got served better than we could have imagined! Room was clean and cosy. Breakfast is well organized with small specialities from normal daily routines.

I am baffled by the negative reviews this hotel has received. When we stayed in a family room over the Christmas period I was impressed by the size of the room, its cleanliness and the fact that there were three proper beds. The staff were were very accommodating and breakfast was delicious.

The reception was really helpfull with finding my lost wedding ring and it was found thanks to their actions ☺️ I can also otherwise recommend the hotel. Great location; close to the center but still easy parking. Good breakfast.

Good location only a short walk to the city centre. Parking Sundays on the street free of charge, any other day you must pay a parking fee. The hotel is outdated. Stayed here for 4 nights, a well maintained place with good and spacious rooms, very neat and clean, staff are very courteous and supportive, they also have a good restaurant and bar. I had great experience of one night visit here with family. Everything worked, easy check-in and our kid was welcomed to hotel warmly. Gym looked good for hotel and sauna was clean & warm even small. Good breakfast and that make big difference when starting your day in "new" town.

Nice, clean room, except for a mildew problem in the shower. Looked like needed a structural fix to really make it right. Bed was comfortable and reasonably quiet for being mid-city. Breakfast buffet had tons of options from cereal to fish. Helpful staff and reasonable price for great location.

I stayed here for two nights late July, the room was clean, tidy and the breakfast was soooo good! Staff were kind and friendly and didn't hesitate to patiently help us with our booking. What I didn't like about the room was my view which opened to an ugly neighbor wall but I personally didn't really care about the view since I was in the city most of the time. I do recommend this place.

The parking is ok, but when the departmentstore is closed you have to walk all the way around outside with the luggage… not so convenient.. the rooms are ok, but a little boring and worn. Lovely as always We tried a superior room and we can say that we prefer the standard. Bed was too soft and also there were more sounds then when we had room with window not pointing to tori area. As always excellent staff and room was clean and well lit. We only had one hand towel but it was fine since we were only staying one night.

You guys have the best shampoo ever XD. Everything was perfect. And gosh I wished I could find that shampoo where I live I will come again if I ever have the opportunity again [Edit-reply] Yes it was lumene's products however they told me they only sell that shampoo to you/ hotels. The shampoo avaible on their website are not the same as the nordic collection you have in your rooms

Comfortable hotel in The City Centre. Rooms were prepared well, very clean. We used the sauna, which is a quite big (men and women separate). The restaurants food are great. Very kind staff!

Great location, minimalistic design. At first sight, it looks ok. Yet, when you start using the room, you notice a lot of dirt (stains on the walls like someone dropped coffee, traces of products in the bathroom, etc etc). No soap or shampoo. Nobody does your room, so it is not nice if you stay many days.

New and freshly renovated rooms, very clean and beautiful view. The website has some issues tho, when trying to order an extra 2hours of time, after choosing payment method nothing happens, just a blank screen which was quite frustrating 😤
