The breakfast was a great surprise. Hall was really clean and tidy. In fact it was one of the cleanest I've seen during the corona virus pandemic. Also, the offering was great. All kinds of variety of good and healthy food. Really terrific experience.

An average hotel, aged and worn. Courteous staff but basically the only service provided is check-in and out at the front desk. Cleaning could be greatly improved. Spotty wifi. Average breakfast. Good bed, pillow and sheets. No noises from the street. Comfortable room temperature (heating). Small shower. Parking available but expensive.

It's okay for a business trip. Furniture is a bit outdated, but serves it's purpose. Good and fast service all around

Good accommodation. Saunas and Small swimming pool are available. Rooms are on average level. Location is very good.

The reception. A very serviceminded and helpful receptionist, Barbie, got us all we needed and a very nice room too. The breakfast was very good.

Comfortable hotel in The City Centre. Rooms were prepared well, very clean. We used the sauna, which is a quite big (men and women separate). The restaurants food are great. Very kind staff!

Probably the only price competitive alternative for a nusiness trip staying in Turku. Located directly at the market place with shopping mall at opposite and many pubs and restaurants around. Only 20 minutes from airport. Huge hotel with own pub and restaurant as well as dedicated sauna space. Rooms are tidy, matrasses are good as well.

Good customer service; clean and elegant rooms that come with all manner of comforts - including refrigerator, clothes iron, sewing kit, tea kettle and cups, bible, plus tea, instant cocoa, honey and a library of books in the hallway. Good sized room with comfortable bed. Hotel was clean inside and breakfast was good, full of variety for all tastes. Spa was less than expected and basic refreshments were expensive. While checking in, the staff showed no enthusiasm. No feeling of welcome even in the Finnish language. Entertainment in the evening was quite dull also. Yes it's nice to relax sometimes, but this felt more like a retirement...

This hotel gives the impression that it had its heyday in the 1970s and not changed much since. Nearly everything looks a bit run down and dirty. Most of the time, there's very annoying elevator music playing all through the house. Staff are reasonably friendly, but don't seem very happy about working here. The spa is okay, if basic. The food is a mixed bag, a la carte was pretty good, if quite expensive...

Really nice and peaceful place! We were traveling with a dog and were pleasantly surprised when we found bowls and dog treats in our room. The territory next to the hotel is well maintained, with a beautiful view of the pier from the garden. We liked everything except the food in the restaurant. The buffet was expensive but the choice of dishes was very small.

Could update the rooms a little bit but it was nice anyway. Kind of stuck in the 90s. Food was decent and location is awesome. It's difficult to get any services from the Spa if you don't book well in advance.

The hotel is nice , good room , big and clean, customer care was good. Beautiful views around, I didn’t use the spa area. The breakfast there some critical points: the scrambled eggs tasted disgusting, there was no butter only margarine . But for the rest was quite ok breakfast buffet.

A former luxury spa, perhaps a bit run down. The family room is spacious and the spa is nice. The place closes too early on weekends, so it's worth going for a swim as soon as you arrive. Hesburger was closed even though it was supposed to be open according to the opening hours. The food at the Classic Pizza restaurant came quickly, and food was good.

Kids like here, as hotel guests can also visit to water theme park. The hotel is a bit old, but still acceptable. I don't like the parking service -- hotel doesn't provide free or discounted parking for guests, and it is quite expensive, I spent almost 30€ for the parking.

It was our second visit to Holiday Club Caribia, Turku. Surprisingly we got exactly the same room to stay as of previous time in 2021. The swimming pools are the best part of the hotel, the rooms were not properly cleaned up, we found lots of dust in the corners of the room. Bathroom was better than the last visit. Overall, it was a good experience being in Caribia.

Very average hotel with poor adult facilities, but a great place for children. If you want to relax and spend time there as if you are in spa hotel, it is not a right place. Children are everywhere. Also they have quite bad sound isolation in the rooms. You will hear every cry.

I only used the spa. I loved that you can swim outside also in winter, the steam sauna and the jaccusi. The entire hotel otherwise is a bit old fashion though cosy. Good location with bus stop in front of the hotel, river very close by for great walks.

Felt very out of date and slightly unclean. AC was not working. Could hear a lot of noises but atleast during night it was quiet. A little bit dusty in places.

Went for a quick cup of tea with friends. Experience was positive and atmosphere was very nice. It is a kind of open area restaurant/lounge bar, but there are many types of seating from couches to bar chairs. Will go again.

This place is relatively expensive for what it is. I booked the business room and it was a bit worn out with several things not working properly (starting with the door) or badly designed (with the chandelier hanging too close to your head at the dining table). I ordered a steak in the room with a glass of wine and some fruits and I spent more than n euros which I find expensive relative to rest...

One of the cheapest "proper" hotels in Turku. Most other customers seem to be traveling for work and the hotel is quiet through the night. Rooms are big and bathrooms even have hair dryers. Expected more from a Scandic hotel. My double-room had only one wardrobe, the waterboiler was missing and the power-sockets, by the bed, gave no room for an actual (phone-)charger. Plus there were some damages on/from the furniture. Ending on a positive point: the bathroom was clean and the desktop was big and made of glass(which made it perfect for both eating and working).

you get what you pay for. its a cheap place to stay. I havent stayed in a single bed in a hotel for quite a long time.. this place is due for a facelift at some stage, but until then its a cheap place to stay for business, has a decent breakfast and gets the job done.

Located on top of Kupittaa railway station. Next to the hospital and a business district. Has some parking in the basement, and only 4 EV chargers. Basic hotel with comfortable beds and general design, location is just perfect. There's no reception at all in the place, there's no other facilities to make you more comfortable. If you really want to enjoy your stay in Turku, you better stay in kylpylä like Holiday Club Caribia, prices are different but totally different atmosphere!!

It is an OK place to stay in a very convenient location. It really is not bad, but it is a true budget hotel. We had a problem with the toilet running nonsotp and loudly in our room and it took a whole day to get someone there and ended up changing rooms, but that also took a day. It is an experience. A new hotel with all the gizmos you can get in a hotel room, at an old prison. You would have expected a depressing experience, but they have created excellent rooms and kept the history of the place everywhere else. Great job!

An old prison turned into a boutique hotel. A lot could have gone wrong but absolutely nothing did. Perfect balance between old and new, harsh prison environment and modern luxuries. The most attentive staff was a real crown jewel. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, this is something you want to experience!

So many good things to say. I stayed here this past week, arriving late Monday evening and leaving Friday morning. The room we stayd in was clean and quiet, mostly, and the service was great. The only reasone I didn't give a full 5/5 stars was, I could hear someone drumming in a nearby bar(?) and the sound carried into our room. But the sound was barely there, so it didn't bother us, that much. All and all, a great place to stay in for a city-vacation!

I stayed here for two nights late July, the room was clean, tidy and the breakfast was soooo good! Staff were kind and friendly and didn't hesitate to patiently help us with our booking. What I didn't like about the room was my view which opened to an ugly neighbor wall but I personally didn't really care about the view since I was in the city most of the time. I do recommend this place.

Booked a room for 3 adults. Located on top floor. Room was spacious and clean. Very quiet. Good location, right in front of bus station and 10min walk from main square. Cluttered, long in the tooth, and, well , weird. Biggest issue is that the musty air (there is no air circulation) gave my wile allergies even a couple of days after we checked out.
