This is a good hotel in the center of Turku. It is a modern hotel with decent rooms. The room was large, clean and quiet with a view of the main city square. Breakfast was tasty with a good range of things to eat. The hotel is in a good location - in the center of the town and only a few minutes walk from the river.

I would recommend it to everyone without reservation. It was a really good breakfast!

A former luxury spa, perhaps a bit run down. The family room is spacious and the spa is nice. The place closes too early on weekends, so it's worth going for a swim as soon as you arrive. Hesburger was closed even though it was supposed to be open according to the opening hours. The food at the Classic Pizza restaurant came quickly, and food was good.

Kids like here, as hotel guests can also visit to water theme park. The hotel is a bit old, but still acceptable. I don't like the parking service -- hotel doesn't provide free or discounted parking for guests, and it is quite expensive, I spent almost 30€ for the parking.

It was our second visit to Holiday Club Caribia, Turku. Surprisingly we got exactly the same room to stay as of previous time in 2021. The swimming pools are the best part of the hotel, the rooms were not properly cleaned up, we found lots of dust in the corners of the room. Bathroom was better than the last visit. Overall, it was a good experience being in Caribia.

Very average hotel with poor adult facilities, but a great place for children. If you want to relax and spend time there as if you are in spa hotel, it is not a right place. Children are everywhere. Also they have quite bad sound isolation in the rooms. You will hear every cry.

Good location, right next to the river. Rooms are very outdated and worn down. The air in the room stands still. Feels like there is no oxygen. Receptionist just told us that is because there is no airconditioning but it almost feels like that the rooms are not ventilated at all. Beds are nice and we enjoyed the breakfast as well.

The reception service is amazing! We had some need for help out from normal hotel duties and we got served better than we could have imagined! Room was clean and cosy. Breakfast is well organized with small specialities from normal daily routines.

I am baffled by the negative reviews this hotel has received. When we stayed in a family room over the Christmas period I was impressed by the size of the room, its cleanliness and the fact that there were three proper beds. The staff were were very accommodating and breakfast was delicious.

The reception was really helpfull with finding my lost wedding ring and it was found thanks to their actions ☺️ I can also otherwise recommend the hotel. Great location; close to the center but still easy parking. Good breakfast.

Reception area and breakfast restaurant were ok and clean, really good service. But for the room price the hotel needs renovation. Scandic hotels have little amenities so the room rate should be lower.

Good location only a short walk to the city centre. Parking Sundays on the street free of charge, any other day you must pay a parking fee. The hotel is outdated. The hotel is special for its theme as it was a prison before. The room is clean and secured. The staff and very friendly to guide you the direction. The restaurant has quiet and private place to eat, blending in the nature! Though a bit far away from the centre, take light luggage is high suggested!

The hotel was hosting many families with small children when we visited and managed to provide prompt, attentive service despite the number of guests. The location was perfect for accessing the river walk and excellent restaurants.

A very nice hotel, suitable for vacation travel. It is far from the city. There are singers and bands performing on weekends, and you can experience local features such as saunas.

This hotel gives the impression that it had its heyday in the 1970s and not changed much since. Nearly everything looks a bit run down and dirty. Most of the time, there's very annoying elevator music playing all through the house. Staff are reasonably friendly, but don't seem very happy about working here. The spa is okay, if basic. Really nice and peaceful place! We were traveling with a dog and were pleasantly surprised when we found bowls and dog treats in our room. The territory next to the hotel is well maintained, with a beautiful view of the pier from the garden. We liked everything except the food in the restaurant. The buffet was expensive but the choice of dishes was very small.

Could update the rooms a little bit but it was nice anyway. Kind of stuck in the 90s. Food was decent and location is awesome. It's difficult to get any services from the Spa if you don't book well in advance.

Located next to the centre and all the activities, with polite staff and great rooms. The only bad side is the quite expensive parking near the place, if you are coming with a car or course. Highly recommend it for anyone staying in Turku.

The room is spacious, bright and clean (especially since we just arrived in Turku from London, we felt that the room was super big). The only downside is that the facilities are outdated and there is not a single USB port, which is not very friendly for people who don't have a conversion plug. It is unimaginable that mobile phones cannot be charged now.

Its a nice and cosy hotel. It's clean and affordable. They have a nice staff and a really good breakfast buffet that is way above average, with a large selection including healthy food. I enjoyed my stay and I would definetely go here again if I ever visit Turku again.

Everything seemed quite new, very friendly personnel, only possible less nice fact was that we could not try the restaurant as it is colosed on sundays. But we found nice restaurants down by the river.We will definitely come again here with my husband-

Good quality hotel A good Sokos hotel with central location, just a few minutes of walking to marketplace. The breakfast is one of the best I've experienced in Turku, with a lot of warm and cold alternatives and some nice local products also. My room was tidy and beautifully decorated. The reception staff were great and attentive, and even managed a room for me even though arriving very early.

City Center location Have stayed here before, a couple of times.. like the location, the restaurant is ok, breakfast is very nice, roof top bar also very nice. Lovely as always We tried a superior room and we can say that we prefer the standard. Bed was too soft and also there were more sounds then when we had room with window not pointing to tori area. As always excellent staff and room was clean and well lit. We only had one hand towel but it was fine since we were only staying one night.

You guys have the best shampoo ever XD. Everything was perfect. And gosh I wished I could find that shampoo where I live I will come again if I ever have the opportunity again [Edit-reply] Yes it was lumene's products however they told me they only sell that shampoo to you/ hotels. The shampoo avaible on their website are not the same as the nordic collection you have in your rooms
