Reviews
The room was standard internationally and even though had a smell when we arrived it went away quickly.
The issue was when we woke up and excitedly went to Sunday breakfast (which they charge 30+€ for)
I am celiac and I risk getting sick every time I eat out. When I am staying somewhere outside my home I hope that the hotel staff would take care of me.
There were no signs saying anything about the ingredients so I was forced to ask the staff. When asking the staff of the gluten free options they seemed not interested in helping at all. The chef even scoffed at the idea of gluten free and the other staff was uninformed and uninterested in helping. They said this was probably ok… then I found the gluten free table with rice cakes and such things which was very sad looking.
How about fresh fruit or something else? There was some but barely much and was quickly gone. 3/10
I risked eating their ‘omelet’ (1/10) and some other sausage links (2/10) and then started to feel sick.
Hotels are suppose to showcase a city(even country) that doing business with them is at an international level. Staff that behaves this way is not acceptable. Not taking care of people’s food allergies is also not acceptable. Charging 30€ for a substandard meal is criminal. This will be the last time I ever stay in this hotel and I will tell everyone I know to stay away.
Very friendly staff. And special thanks for how our furry friend was noticed! He's a young belgian shepherd, so not your cute little toy. But he was noticed by all staff very positively and there even was a bed and water bowl waiting for him in the room! Wow!
Also a special thanks for offering morning sauna in addition to evening one. The decor continues nicely to sauna and gym area.
Lastly the breakfast is great too!
Definitely will stay here again!
Breakfast staff very friendly and selection was very good, and the bacon and sausage were bery hot, most hotel's hot breakfast is a bit cold NOT HERE, WELL DONE.
Parking could be better as it is quite expensive and doesn’t have charging options for electric cars
Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Turku and my family and myself will be returning over the summer.
