I was only here for 2 nights and 1 day + a short morning. When I first came here it was great. The dinner we ate was awesome. Not many alternatives but high quality food. We went to visit Power Park, an amusement park in Finland. Great place. I may come here soon.

Place is from 80's but the service was nice and the breakfast was great.

Very nice breakfast buffet for such a small hotel ! Rooms are clean and spacious enough, but much needed electric and USB power outlets for charging phones and other devices are missing...

Beautifully clean and comfortable. We stayed for 2 separate nights and were glad to return for the second night. Staff are welcoming and the breakfast offers plenty of choice. We would definitely return.

Great local hotel with own style. Service is very polite. Rooms are clean, beds are good. Some regular rooms have own sauna. Breakfast is superb. Location is very central. Highly recommended!

I’ve never had a great room at the hotel, they are usually pretty small, but always clean and have everything you need. The service and breakfast at this hotel are why it is so special. The location is also great, right across the street from the train station and close to all the city center. Walking everywhere is convenient.

Of the 3 different hotels I stayed in in Vaasa, I prefer this one. Clean, great location, good bed, all the services you need. A solid choice, especially if you have a business type of travel.

The hotel is nice, rooms are nice, and this I in a great location - shopping is nearby, restaurants are close, and the train station is just a block away.

Spot on location in the middle of everything. Nice interiors and a small swimming pool and saunas with a cool-off terrace. Breakfast if good and staff is friendly. Remember to download the S-card app to get the meal benefit (12 €/day) that you can use in the restaurant for instance.

My room was a bit small and even though the hotel is renovated the room feels a bit outdated. From the high floor there was really nice. Breakfast was really good and the hotel staff were helpful.

Thank you for the hospitality in your hotel! I loved the facilities, the food and the service! As a personal wish, I would love that the pool and sauna could be available during midday as we could enjoy it (especially during the weekend) without too many people. Nevertheless, I would be definitely staying again if visiting Vaasa!

The hotel is in the center of the city. You can easily take a bus to the airport, too. Breakfast is also nice.

5 stars, great location and while rooms are small they are immensely comfortable. A special shout out to the receptionist when i arrived late on Sunday night, he was very friendly and really made me feel welcomed after a fairly arduous journey.

Located at the city centre. All the restaurants and shopping centers were less than five minutes walk away. Breakfast buffet was amazing and the common facilities like the gym and sauna were also well-maintained. I had a beautiful view of the city centre from my room.

Good to spend one night during the travel. But we arrived late and tired and they didn’t provide the access codes! After 10h driving you just want to arrive and rest but we had to wait around 45m for somebody to help with the checkin.

Correct hotel, nothing fancy. The breakfast is very basic but that's just enough. The rooms are adequate, cleaned well, you get wall mounted soap and shampoo dispensers. Can recommend this place if you are looking for a simple but well kept hotel with nothing extra.

All in all the hotel is ok ,the Best part about it is the people working there as they are verry friendly and helpfull. Generally good place to crash and have breakfast when visiting Vaasa. Rooms - quite small, but for 1 person ideal. Beds could be more comfortable, but acceptable. Breakfast - basic, but generally ok to start your day. Recommend this place for the ones who are not very fussed about small spaces and want just to sleep over night and travel around the city for the rest of the day.

Prices are cheapest based on nearby hotels. Rented a 2-person room for 69 euros, super clean with a shower, TV, LED lighting and plenty of outlets.

It has been clear that the old Scandic Vaasa does require renovation and, in fact, it has been going on for a longer while. Experience was a bit terrible. I stayed once in old building room 5XX in A building - ventilation in room was too much noisy and “windy” like someone put forced mode. I believe it is adjustable, but during the evening when engineering services are not available- there is no way. Excellent location near the train station and walking distance to the town centre. The hotel has two parts, one old and one new and the rooms are very different. My room, in the old part, had a sauna and a jacuzzi! Decent breakfast and friendly bar.

The hotel is very well placed, close to many activities, train station, buss, restaurants, etc. However, and despite is and historical building, it's highly important to update some features. Basic hotel with automatic check-in and self-service access. The door code arrived by email and SMS at 08.00 the morning before arrival. A god sleep hotel with small cabins and modern lavitories is all you need. Other services just outside the hotel. A recomended god hotel option for you.

A tidy and functional but small room in a great location close to the train station and city center. Easy check in and check out. The air condition worked well. I liked the firm beds but would've liked the pillows to be bigger and more supportive of the neck (or to have two) Good quality for little money.

Friendly, clean and quite modern hotel, nice bonus is dinner free of charge. Not exactly in the center of Vaasa, but travelling OK with car, taxi or public transportation.

It was a mixed experience. Arriving late, we had the bufet dinner free of charge. The food was OK enough. The breakfast next day was also good. The room was OK. However, as the booking was made with the option to pay at the property, that did not happen. The hotel took the money from my bank account prior to me be physically present at a property. Very Relaxing stay! A lovely comfortable stay. The room was very large and two comfortable chairs made it even more relaxing for our two night stay! It is older and dated but the service, room, comfort, and kindness was wonderful! Thank you.

Great hotel, great rooms. Very convenient parking. It is important to consider that the diner (buffet) and the parking are included in the price, so at the end it is a good value for money and Hotel Vallonia is a perfect place to stay. The center town of Vaasa is at 40 minutes walking or 5 minutes with the car.

Kalle's Inn is probably the best way to experience the beautiful nature of the finnish archipelago At first, the price might seem a little on the steep side, but where else can you spend the night in a glasshouse with the sea just meters away, and sleep safely and warmly tucked in beneath the stars or the northern lights? Wonderful place: had a company meeting in the top of the lighthouse which has a beautiful view. Had a great, classy and upscale dinner. We visited the glass-houses and the large saunas with the very friendly owner. Can’t imagine how good would have been experiencing sauna and sea swimming and diving.
