Lovely newly renovated hotel in the center of Vaasa. Feiendly staff, well airconditioned rooms with a comfy bed. Lots to choose from at the breakfast buffé.

One of the best hotel experiences in Finland for me so far. New or newly renovated hotel, with great rooms. Breakfast is served till noon, which is awesome, cause i like to sleep late. Higly recommended.

It has been clear that the old Scandic Vaasa does require renovation and, in fact, it has been going on for a longer while. Experience was a bit terrible. I stayed once in old building room 5XX in A building - ventilation in room was too much noisy and “windy” like someone put forced mode. I believe it is adjustable, but during the evening when engineering services are not available- there is no way. Excellent location near the train station and walking distance to the town centre. The hotel has two parts, one old and one new and the rooms are very different. My room, in the old part, had a sauna and a jacuzzi! Decent breakfast and friendly bar.

The hotel is very well placed, close to many activities, train station, buss, restaurants, etc. However, and despite is and historical building, it's highly important to update some features. Beautifully clean and comfortable. We stayed for 2 separate nights and were glad to return for the second night. Staff are welcoming and the breakfast offers plenty of choice. We would definitely return.

I’ve never had a great room at the hotel, they are usually pretty small, but always clean and have everything you need. The service and breakfast at this hotel are why it is so special. The location is also great, right across the street from the train station and close to all the city center. Walking everywhere is convenient.

I was only here for 2 nights and 1 day + a short morning. When I first came here it was great. The dinner we ate was awesome. Not many alternatives but high quality food. We went to visit Power Park, an amusement park in Finland. Great place. I may come here soon.

Location is really nice and staff is nice. I enjoyed the hotel gym and the rooms are very good and clean and in good condition and the view from the hotel window is really pleasant.

In good location in the mielle of the town. Shortest possible distance to the shops as the hotel is actually a part of a mall. The rooms are pretty standard (= dull), but no big issues to complain about. For some reason my room did not provide a mini bar but my friends' room did.

Comfortable rooms, great gym and sauna followed by good night sleep and amazing breakfast. It is the small things that matter like perfectly cooked bacon, quality Carelian pies with real egg butter and brie with cloud berry jam. Enjoyable stay!

Entrance is a bit tricky to find. Room was clean and tidy, however a static pole was in the middle. Surely not in every room, but in mine it was there. Internet was reliable and fast. Breakfast selection was wide and delicious.

Prices are cheapest based on nearby hotels. Rented a 2-person room for 69 euros, super clean with a shower, TV, LED lighting and plenty of outlets.

Clean and nice room, with a nice area of breakfast and good access of coffee. The free wifi though gave me some headaches as it is not a private network. But it was enough for the cellphone.

Was a nice clean place, rooms were in good shape and comfortable. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming but it was fine. There is garage parking available, which was nice.

Great hotel with modern and creative interior design and we loved the tree smell in the hallways it smelled like u were walking around in the nature. A few brown stains and some dust on the room that wasn't a problem for us tho but might be for others. And our room had one of the best beds I've ever slept in easily worth the money!

Basic hotel with automatic check-in and self-service access. The door code arrived by email and SMS at 08.00 the morning before arrival. A tidy and functional but small room in a great location close to the train station and city center. Easy check in and check out. The air condition worked well. I liked the firm beds but would've liked the pillows to be bigger and more supportive of the neck (or to have two) Good quality for little money.

Wonderful place: had a company meeting in the top of the lighthouse which has a beautiful view. Had a great, classy and upscale dinner. We visited the glass-houses and the large saunas with the very friendly owner. Can’t imagine how good would have been experiencing sauna and sea swimming and diving.
