This is obviously not a 4-star hotel, maximum 2, location convenient and really close to the centre.
Service was good and friendly, and I can't add anything else, just positive comments about people who are working in this hotel.
Breakfast was good.
Room, o my, small, we were with 2 small suitcases and we barely have a space to open them. The room was clean, but, bedlinen and towels so old, their colour looked grey.

Firstly a disclaimer that I didn’t stay in this hotel.
We drove by Aix-en-Provence as foreign tourists with a minor accident on the road and were in a hurry to find the nearest car rental station. Unfortunately I had to stop near the hotel for a “bio-break”. This is how I encountered with the hotel receptionist, whom coldly told me that the toilet in the lobby is “reserved to guests only” and I had to buy a bottle of drink in order to use it. As a “4-star hotel”, this is the situation I never encountered elsewhere in a hotel of a similar grade. Even when I implored to her that we were in an urgent situation and were lost in the city from where we needed to be, the lady insisted that rules had to be upheld with zero human empathy (including showing at least where the public toilets could be found in the nearby).
As a hotel in a tourist city but not situated on the busiest tourist street, which I would have understood stringent rules against passersby, it was very disappointing and made me but wonder in situations of urgent needs for hotel guests, would they offer the help that may not be written on their job descriptions?
Perhaps this is not the most valuable review for hotel booking, I thought it might still be helpful to share for international visitors to decide on their hotel bookings. After all, there are just so many options in this very lovely city.

Great location, we had a very spacious room and the staff was very friendly. Just the floor in the room was all carpet which was disappointing for me due to my allergies.

The hotel is updated, very clean, pleasant public area/front desk and restaurant with lots of windows for breakfast, included in our rate. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly. Parking was free. Located on the avenue des belges, it is a minute walk to cour mirbeau and Aix’s main attraction areas. Staff was very friendly.

Excellent location, modest outdated rooms, reasonable breakfast and remarkably kind and helpful team.
It's not a 4star hotel at all! It's an old 2 star with a 3star breakfast.
If you are looking for good equipment, charming buildings and more service, this is not the hotel for you.
On the other hand, it's so conveniently located near downtown and has a large garage, that you might consider it. Btw, there is the risk that you might not find parking space; although it's large, you might have more cars than its capacity.
Also if you bring many large bags, you will have to walk a ramp in the open weather and not obtain any help, since it's a very reduced staff.
Finally, I don't think it's worth the price.

Well placed hotel for visiting Aix en Provence. A well equipped room, good size bathroom and very comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The hotel also provides free secure parking, a real bonus in this area. All staff were helpful and friendly at all times

It was close to the Rotonde Fountain and close to the bus terminal, so it was very convenient when arriving and departing from Aix-en-Provence.

Lovely Hotel with amazingly helpful staff. Arriving by Car from Marseille airport finding where to park the car isn't clear (Its next to the hotel, the closed electronic gate across the wide pavement next to the hotel) but once we knew all was good. We didn't really use the hire car much apart from arrival and departure day preferring to walk around AIX and getting the bus to Marseille conveniently located in the depot just a few hundred meters outside the hotel The hotel is quite compact with a small bar / restaurant area directly in reception which provided a lovely european breakfast and a reasonably well stocked bar for the evening (although it closed early for a hotel bar). A small outdoor area by the front doors allows diners to take food and drinks and eat in the sun shine A lift is available to all floors. Our triple room was large with a big bathroom and plenty of space - plenty of plug sockets for charging devices by beds and sockets for hair dryers / razors in the bathroom. Plenty of storage space, and a safe in the room. Ideally located just a short walk from the centre of Aix and its many bars and restaurants. A stones throw from the bus/coach depot and a short walk to the Aix main rail station, giving many opportunities to explore the area.

My stay at this centrally located hotel in Aix-en-Provence was perfectly fine. The room was very clean, the bed provided a comfortable night’s sleep, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety. On-site parking was a nice surprise. The hotel serves well for those prioritizing a convenient location and a few nice amenities.
