Bourges, ZAC Orchidee Cesar - Route de Châteauroux 🧭 Map
Excellent hotel perhaps let down by lack of menu for vegetarians (even though a vegetarian menu was listed in the hotel description); however excellent staff we able to produce a good quality option for us.
Pleasant enough no tea, coffee or milk in the room, breakfast was cold. We arrived 9pm possibly a last minute booking by Skills so they may not have been prepared. Breakfast was good lots of choice hot food was Luke warm. Stayed 1 night
Great location as a stop off from the motorway. Wouldn't choose as an actual holiday destination. Comfortable with all we needed.
We staid for a night in two adjacent and communicating rooms (instant hit with our child who could visit his grand parents). The idea was to stop there on our way to our holiday destination, it was a hot day and after hours in the car it was great to be able to go in the swimming pool, I also used the gym because it was too hot to run outside. Dinner at the hotel, on the terrace by the pool, was good...
This hotel was nice but, there were not enough outlets for a 3+ person room. The hotel is right next to the freeway which is nice, but is loud when the window is open.
The hotel does the job. It deserve a refurbishing even if all is clean. The staff is nice and efficient.

Bourges, Boulevard de la République 🧭 Map
We have stayed here before and it always meets our expectations. The rooms are comfortable with acceptable AC at this time of year. Coffee/tea facilities are available. Sadly the hotel has cut back on lotions in the bathroom. The hairdryer situation was ludicrous. The hotel asked the hairdryer not be used in the bathroom so we had to move the fridge in order to plug it near a mirror. We enjoyed...
We don’t expect much from Accor’s Mercure chain of 3/4star hotels and we’re usually right. In Newport they forgot to service our room and the TV in the lounge of our junior suite didn’t work but Mercure Bourges is even worse, The first Privilege room we were shown was so dark we couldn’t seen as it had tiny little windows. The second was far brighter but painfully small. On checking the bed we found...
Stayed here a few times. It’s a good hotel to be fair, decent selection for breakfast, nice patio area. The bar is pretty decent as well. The only complaint I have is, the rooms I have stayed in have always been too warm, and the aircon didn’t blow cold. for me the best thing about the hotel is the restaurant room/building, it’s fabulous.
Lovely hotel with character. Well located for the city. Parking tight. Helpful and friendly staff. Very loud but poor band playing in the grounds on the one night we stayed.
Probably the best Mercure and restaurant combination we have stayed at. Professional, welcoming staff, room, clean and stylish to Mercure brand. Usual extensive breakfast set in the restaurant. Excellent restaurant for evening meals. Lovely garden to the rear of the hotel. Conveniently located a short walk from the SNCF Gare and on site car parking. A lovely municipal part across the road. Tye Marais...
I recently stayed at Hôtel de bourbon and had an outstanding experience. From the money I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and my room was ready ahead of schedule.

Hard to fault. Super nice staff. Great location in town. Room quite large an comfortable. Would go again.
This is a super unique hotel is a really cool french town. Its right in the middle of town and has garage parking. There are lots of things in walking distance here. The breakfast is terrible though, there is an AMAZING bakery a block away, go there and you will have a perfect stay.
This is a good hotel which is located in the lovely town of Bourges. We stop here as it’s located halfway on our journey between the UK and Spain. What makes it superb is Amelia and Hubert. They are so friendly and efficient. Thank you Rowland, Reymundo and Bella!
Hotel itself is very cool. It’s in a great location and it has a massive amount of charm. The breakfast was terrible.
A traditional - in the good sense - hotel, with a warm and friendly environment. Staff are very polite and helpful, and my room was spacious and extremely convenient. Ideal for family holidays or business. Free Wi-Fi. The breakfast had an excellent range of English and continental choices, with a good time window to cater for the business and family clientele.
Very comfortable hotel in a great location. Quiet and a very comfortable bed. We selected the superior room that included a small fridge and tea kettle. Parking is available at the hotel for €14. We decided not to have the breakfast, but we could smell the bacon. Bourges cathedral should not be missed! Definitely would recommend this hotel over the other options.

nice Place to be--very good service
Perfect boutique in Bourges. We got a good rate by booking direct. All staff exceptionally helpful including booking restaurant La Cercle and taxis. Front rooms rather noisy. Rooms at back very peaceful. A few parking spaces which need to be prebooked. Don’t miss the Bourges market on Saturday.
Lovely hotel with thoughtful staff. Car parking is available, but it's a tight squeeze.
Excellent hotel, comfortable room with very good air conditioning. Staff attentive and very understanding with my school boy French. Would have liked off street parking, but was lucky to park right outside. Easy walk to old town. WiFi was good and stable. Bed was very comfortable. All in all a very relaxing stay. I would certainly rebook again when I pass through Bourges.
A little oasis off a busy road near the station. The bedroom was wonderful with a lovely bathroom. The windows totally insulated the noise and the curtains kept the morning sun out which lead to a very deep sleep!
Best hotel I have stayed at in France by far. I will be staying here again if possible. Great location and the staff are super friendly all the time and really personalise your stay for you.

Great hotel, staff and ambience happy to recommend
We were welcomed by a nice staff member and given a very comfortable room that was very clean with good lighting, a/c and a comfortable bed. the breakfast was a good continental one well presented and plentiful, there was free parking in the same street but no spaces when we arrived at 16.30 hours but we found a spot just round the corner that cost 1 euro 20 that lasted until 0930 hrs. the following...
Lovely small hotel close to the historic centre of the town. Reasonably sized rooms and good shower. Buffet breakfast available but no other meals. Street parking outside can be difficult. Few local restaurants open on Sunday. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Recommended
Fantastic hotel. Huge rooms (though quite hot), clean, well stocked fridge in reception, amazing breakfast! (Boil your own eggs was a particular highlight) - delicious Brie, meat, fresh baguette, yoghurts. Only complaint was the terrible coffee! Good location in the centre of bourges, less than 20 min walk from the train station
We have stayed here a few years ago & it was OK. This time though we were very pleased,. There has been a complete refurbishment, which has been well carried out and in a modern style that fits the premises. We were welcomed quickly at reception. The room was correct and appropriatly decorated and fitted out. Breakfast was satisfactory, again in a pleasant area with comfortable spacing between the...
Good quality and price ratio. Rooms were clean and looked new. The staff were very nice to us. They gave us good recommendations to go around Bourges. Bourges is a relatively unknown tourist spot so I think maybe not everyone might speak English. We managed with some basic french. The breakfast was all correct. It is really close to the centre and close to the suggested route for tourist spots...

We stayed in a quadruple room. Bus stop nearby with a free bus running to the center. Boulangerie Tradition is in 2 minutes walking distance.
We used the hotel as a stopover on way home from the Pyrenees and was fine for that. Good size room that was clean and tidy. Good cold breakfast selection for pastries. Limited in places to eat within walking distance although we found a great pizza place next to a craft beer micro brewery that we would recommend. One of the best pizzas I've had - La Petite Fabrique, next door to Brasserie Bros Bar
Nice place for 1 night when you are on travelling. The breakfast is good. The Chambers are big and are airconditioned..the bathroom needs New stuff. Service is very good!
Great hotel recently priced. Great for exploring Bourges
Great hotel very helpful staff
This hotel is not downtown but had a good place for my stay. A free parking with around 50places faces the hotel. But 15€ for the one of the hotel. Person at reception were helpful, present but discret, thank. And the room enough big and clean. Before starting your day have a brakefast, with fruits, bread, tea, coffe, ham, cheese, yogourt, french pastries... One thing I apprecate, it is, if you estimate...

Good clean hotel with modern bathroom and large shower. Free parking. 10 minutes walk into city. We had room at front and didn't experience any traffic noise. We booked this hotel because it was next door to Buffalo Grill. Didn't have breakfast as thought a little pricey and was keen to get on our journey home. Would definitely recommend for 1/2 nights stop.
Showers and breakfast are OK. Wi-Fi is literally impossible to connect to. Not the best hotel of my life. But quite tolerable I guess.
Nice clean hotel for the overnight we did on our journey, safe private parking.

Bedrooms small and pokey, breakfast service was poor
When on my way I'm always keen to stay at IBIS. Until now I've never been disappointed in any respect: service, room, restaurant... This time will be no exception. I however noticed an additional fact that pleased me: the personal touch laid by the person in charge of room service. The kind of attention that always catch my appreciation. Thanks.
Excellent Hotel within the reasonable price. Location is very good, nearby hotel a super market and pharmacy available. Hotel staff is very much cooperative and humble. Provided Good breakfast with lots of varieties. Love to visit again...
Helpful staff, room a bit on the small side but okay for a one night stay. 5 minute walk to the centre of Bourges, found a great Breton restaurant.
Good hotel, without pretensions. Close enough to walk into the town. Staff are friendly and helpful.

A comfortable mid-way stop on a long car trip. Pleasant staff & clean, well-appointed rooms with a good shower room. Plenty of simple dining options within walking distance of the hotel.
First time for me to stay here, and I was thoroughly impressed. My room was spacious, modern and clean. It was a split level arrangement with living area/bathroom downstairs and double bed upstairs. There’s a bar at the entrance which does the job. The breakfast is very basic but does the job. There are also some restaurants in close proximity to the hotel, Leon is literally a stones throw away which...
Ideal location for a stop over, either outbound or return from Southern France. Have used this hotel several times and not been disappointed. Added bonus is the discount you get at local eateries by showing your room card.
Very close to the highway, but very silent. Rooms are comfy, there is a Tesla Supercharger in the backyard. Everything was good and well thought for the drivers who need a stopover in the mid France. Coffee and the breakfast could be better though
The hotel is on a good location, with nice and clean rooms. The staff is really friendly and there are some extra's that can be fun, like a pool table. Looking at the rate of the rooms, and the overall experience, it is not always up to par: For example the breakfast is quite poor, and absolutely not comparable to other hotels for the same price range.
Great place for a stop over when driving through France. Easy to find very clean and comfortable. Handy choice if restaurants within a few minutes walk. Perfect.

Easy walk to city centre. Decent rooms for the price.
Staff were very friendly an helpful, just a short walk to town center. Hotel was clean, breakfast was good. Not a lot you could improve.
Near train station and city center. Clean and warm.
Our stay here has been nice. It’s very centrally located, and friendly staff. Rooms and bathroom are very clean, but TINY. The beds are comfortable, but again small. It’s a great stop with kids, the restaurant downstairs has good food for a reasonable price. Good place to stop for a night or 2 on your travels! One comment to front desk staff, please check the room you are giving to your guest...
