Chalons-en-Champagne, Place De La République 🧭 Map
We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is located in the centre of town.
The first night was good, however the second night was absolutely awful.
The room air conditioning stopped working after a short power cut, it was around 35 degrees and we were literally melting.
We were told they couldn't get anyone to look at it until the morning.
There were no other rooms available and no fans either, we had to...
Nice hotel in the city centre but research properly as Google maps took us all over the pace. Lovely area go to the river in the evening for a drink
We stay at the Ibis Styles in Chalons-en-Champagne regularly on our way through from the UK to Switzerland and find it very good value for money. For the first time, we had a room on the ground floor which worried us slightly as we weren't sure about the possible noise, but it was as quiet as could be, obviously very well insulated! Particularly as we were warned on arrival by the charming receptionist...
We returned to Ibis Styles Châlons en Champagne and again the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room was great. The location is perfect in the centre of town with all tourist sites in walking distance and plenty of nice restaurants and bars at its front step.
We had a very nice stay, super friendly and helpful staff made it a very good experience. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean. Breakfast is totally worth trying, fresh orange juice, freshly boiled eggs, bread, croissants, all kinds of cheeses, jams, fruit and so on. Don't hesitate to make a stop here!
Located in town centre, very clean room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was great as well. Stayed one night with two kids in a family room. Two thumps up

As a frequent passenger of Ibis hotels I would recommend refurbishing this aged site to regain Ibis standard, or then downgrade to Ibis Budget. It's unconsistent to keep calling this hotel a regular Ibis hotel, as it damages the rest of the sites supposedly at the same level.
We thought the hotel was a perfect stop-over. It is located out of town, which is fine as it has a restaurant and it was quiet. The room we had was small but seemed recently refurbished and was pristine. The restaurant was excellent value for money, good choices and delicious food. The personnel was very helpful albeit they were not enough staff that night. The breakfast buffet was superb.
Was a building site when we stayed, receptionist struggled to find us a room ,even though we had a booking .Room had been renovated but needed a second fix on the electrics.most definitely will not use again. All other ibis group hotels have always been good
A little out of the centre of town but a nice quiet location with friendly staff.
We stayed here for a night on the way to the South of France. It is clean and comfortable and the food is good. The one slight issue is that the sign showing directions from the main road is a little confusing but that is all.
Yep on our way home to UK so decided me, wife and two boys would do overnight here before continuing the journey. We got two interconnected rooms which was very convenient. The rooms were pleasantly laid out and the service was gracious. Breakfast was, well......continental to put it politely, so for me a bit disappointing, but I managed to find something to eat. The hotel is a bit in the middle of...

We came as a stopover on our trip and it was a wonderful discovery. Right in the center of town there are plenty of restaurants in the area, the staff are very friendly and there's even a champagne bar in the hotel with lots of choice.
The rooms are really spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed the relaxing bath. The beds are soft and the linens comfortable. Breakfast is delicious, with a huge choice...
The location is great, but very difficult to drive to - had we realised how complicated the one way systems were we would have come in using google maps. The hotel is OK, decent bar, OK rooms.
A very nice, quirky hotel in the centre of the town. Ideal for local amenities. The friendly staff directed us to secure parking for our motorcycles. Rooms were stylish and comfortable. While there isn't a restaurant as such we enjoyed a large platter of colde meats and cheese with excellent beers and wine.
Great hotel conveniently located in the centre of town. Ideal overnight stop on way to the Alps.
Well located in a lovely square with shops and cafes. The car park was easy to find and right outside rear entrance to the hotel. The town has some very old buildings and was very easy to walk around. We stayed on a stopover but will look to have a proper visit in due course.
Good hotel in great location. Breakfast was excellent value with lots to choose from

Hotel du Pot d'Etain
Chalons-en-Champagne, 18 Place de la République 🧭 Map
One bed was in a sort of alcove, which was nice for privacy. We had booked a room with two double beds but wound up in a room with one double and one single (we were charged less), so the outcome was fine.
Room was smart clean and comfortable. Breakfast really nice. Staff very personable. Location on the main square really good.
Situated on a lovely square in the beautiful Chalons en Champagne, we took a quad room. Quite spacious and had a fan but very hot so needed window open which made it a bit noisy as bar below. Beds were very comfy. No shower just a bath.
Great location, very friendly staff, clean and modern rooms. No fifth star because there is no free wifi and because the renovation of the rooms is quite bland and took away the old charm.

Hotel Bristol
Chalons-en-Champagne, 77 Avenue Pierre Semard 🧭 Map
The hotel is a few kilometers from the town-centre and doesn’t have a restaurant. The inside parking is paid (8 euro per night) and you have to be ‘in’ before 23h. The double shower-heads in the bathroom didn’t work and the mortar was a bit dirty. But the beds are very good. The receptionist was very helpful! And the breakfast -at a supplement- is extremely good.
Could be better really
Not worth the money
Very confortable. Spotless in cleanliness.
Friendly and helpful staff. Close oto central area
Very comfortable and clean facilities. Room and bed very spacious and very clean. Oh and the price is a great deal to be honest!
Excellent hotel, decent breakfast. Friendly staff, a very detailed description of how to use the shower and very prompt attention to coffee top ups in the morning.
Two overnight stays, on our way to and from Burgundy. We think the hotel is excellent and suited our purpose very well.
Warm welcome. Storage for bikes and bike carrier. Good sized rooms. Good breakfasts. Book ahead if you want to eat at a good restaurant in centre of Chalons at the weekend but tried Le Chaudron Savoyard on a Monday and enjoyed a raclette..

Nice and cozy with a quiet surrounding and small but tasteful breakfast.
Very friendly staff. Beautifully decorated. Very good breakfast. After I forgot my jackets in the closet in the room, the ladies at the front desk were very helpful and sent a package within one week to my home address. Thank you very much!!

I've never been to this hotel, but according to someone I know who works there, it's a nice establishment.
Quiet and very clean place. We were made very welcome and the rooms couldn't fault us. I sincerely recommend and intend to return. 👍😊
The staff are absolutely wonderful. So friendly and kind. Marie especially was gentle and very helpful. She is amazing. Hotel tastefully decorated, very clean.and the breakfasts very very good. Our rooms were great and we loved the little garden for coffee or a glass of wine. We recommend very very highly. Thank you to all staff. We could not have been in better hands after our emergency stay....

Chalons-en-Champagne, 31 Avenue du Luxembourg 🧭 Map
Exceptional friendly service, just a lovely hotel. Appreciated the spa facilities. It's a short drive into the town so worth being aware of.
Highly recommended. This is a lovely, dog friendly, hotel with lovely staff. They have good on site parking with 3 EV chargers: 2 Tesla only and one open. The rooms are modern and large, stylishly decorated with chic bathroom. Breakfast is really good. Note: their restaurant is not open on Sunday or Monday but a limited choice of food is available in the Bar. Beautifully stocked minibar!
This is a great hotel to stay in for a visit to the Champagne Area. Wonderful bar and restaurant, great service from very friendly efficient staff. They even offer a glass of champagne with your breakfast. Highly recommend.
Great hotel for stopover. Room and bathroom very clean. Staff friendly and accommodating. Secure parking. The best part was our evening meal. Wow! Exceptional. Ok, it was pricey for Francd, but for that level of food and service in the UK you would have paid twice what we paid! Would go back, just for the food!
Warm and friendly greeting on arrival. Spotless room. Good shower. Comfortable bed. A good sized swimming pool in which to unwind. Evening meal was delicious and served by competent staff. Extensive choices for breakfast. We would certainly overnight here again, should we be in the area.
The total experience was really good. The hotel staff were very helpful.
One thing we were very disappointed with was the massage, we chose the strongest massage that was on the menu (180 euros) and you can't call it a massage, she barely touched us, we got back 90 euros for one of them.
The food at the hotel is one of the best we ate in France. In total, highly recommended!
