The stay was good. The room was clean and was a good size. The inclusive breakfast was nice. We arrived late but we checked in and got into the room with ease by the reception staff. The only gripe we had was that the sat nav took us to the car park entrance at the back of the building. We were scrambling around late at night trying to find the entrance which was in their square.

Location is perfect for all the towns attractions. Lovely square with restaurants and bars and located well for shops and excellent indoor market. The nearby park is a lovely stroll away and beautiful early evening. This is not a fancy hotel just clean honest rooms. Although somewhat quirky great for a long weekend or overnight stop. Secure underground parking is compact but doable in an SUV or Land...

Great place to stay. Walk out the front doors and you are in the heart of the town. Easy access to all bars and restaurants.

Perfect for a stop over on the way back from the Alps. Great location on the square, rooms are nice and modern. Breakfast the next morning is lovely, so laid back and plenty of choice. Parking is 10 euros in the garage.

I've never been to this hotel, but according to someone I know who works there, it's a nice establishment.

The staff are absolutely wonderful. So friendly and kind. Marie especially was gentle and very helpful. She is amazing. Hotel tastefully decorated, very clean.and the breakfasts very very good. Excellent friendly hotel, with large, comfortable and chic room, in a really nice, bustling town. Parking in the courtyard very useful. Ideal overnight stop from the autoroute.

Great hotel for stopover. Room and bathroom very clean. Staff friendly and accommodating. Secure parking. The best part was our evening meal. Wow! Exceptional. Ok, it was pricey for Francd, but for that level of food and service in the UK you would have paid twice what we paid! Would go back, just for the food!

Warm and friendly greeting on arrival. Spotless room. Good shower. Comfortable bed. A good sized swimming pool in which to unwind. Evening meal was delicious and served by competent staff. Extensive choices for breakfast. We would certainly overnight here again, should we be in the area.

The total experience was really good. The hotel staff were very helpful. One thing we were very disappointed with was the massage, we chose the strongest massage that was on the menu (180 euros) and you can't call it a massage, she barely touched us, we got back 90 euros for one of them. The food at the hotel is one of the best we ate in France. In total, highly recommended!

We stayed here on our way to Italy and feel restored after our visit. A beautiful location conveniently close to the motorway. I’d recommend booking for a night the restaurant is open as there are no other dining options in the village on a Sunday evening. Nice garden and spa area and lots of interesting art dotted around.

A wonderful island of luxury! Situated in a beautiful , quiet village, we get there mid afternoon to enjoy the spa and sun terrace. The restaurant is amazing!! Easily Michelin star.

What a gem. I booked this randomly to split the drive from the UK to the Alps and it was fantastic... make sure that you reserve a table at the restaurant, it was packed on a Wednesday night. Truly excellent in every way: they even had some very stylish copper dog bowls waiting in the room for my 4 legged companion!

Lovely little stop over hotel. Staff spoke great english. Felt safe leaving my car overnight as plenty of cameras and 24hr reception. Would book again no problem.

Broke the journey here at Chalons-en-Champagne. Have stayed in the B&B chain many times. Slightly long walk to find something to eat on an evening. Found a Courtepaille about a fifteen minute walk away. Hotel is in an industrial estate so very few people about. Not a problem in the Summer. Staff very helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Overall ok. Quite. Secure parking, good bed and practical. The only difficulty is to find a restaurant the evening. Close named "Dog's Restaurant" apparently for long time vacation closed and every Sunday due to personal. So you to take transportation at night we isn't so funny.

For a overnight stop with the dog this place was clean and just what we wanted at a very reasonable price.

As a frequent passenger of Ibis hotels I would recommend refurbishing this aged site to regain Ibis standard, or then downgrade to Ibis Budget. It's unconsistent to keep calling this hotel a regular Ibis hotel, as it damages the rest of the sites supposedly at the same level.

We thought the hotel was a perfect stop-over. It is located out of town, which is fine as it has a restaurant and it was quiet. The room we had was small but seemed recently refurbished and was pristine. The restaurant was excellent value for money, good choices and delicious food. The personnel was very helpful albeit they were not enough staff that night. The breakfast buffet was superb.

Was a building site when we stayed, receptionist struggled to find us a room ,even though we had a booking .Room had been renovated but needed a second fix on the electrics.most definitely will not use again. All other ibis group hotels have always been good

We stayed here for a night on the way to the South of France. It is clean and comfortable and the food is good. The one slight issue is that the sign showing directions from the main road is a little confusing but that is all.

Yep on our way home to UK so decided me, wife and two boys would do overnight here before continuing the journey. We got two interconnected rooms which was very convenient. We came as a stopover on our trip and it was a wonderful discovery. Right in the center of town there are plenty of restaurants in the area, the staff are very friendly and there's even a champagne bar in the hotel with lots of choice. The rooms are really spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed the relaxing bath. The beds are soft and the linens comfortable. Breakfast is delicious, with a huge choice...

The location is great, but very difficult to drive to - had we realised how complicated the one way systems were we would have come in using google maps. The hotel is OK, decent bar, OK rooms.

A very nice, quirky hotel in the centre of the town. Ideal for local amenities. The friendly staff directed us to secure parking for our motorcycles. Rooms were stylish and comfortable. While there isn't a restaurant as such we enjoyed a large platter of colde meats and cheese with excellent beers and wine.

Well located in a lovely square with shops and cafes. The car park was easy to find and right outside rear entrance to the hotel.The town has some very old buildings and was very easy to walk around. We stayed on a stopover but will look to have a proper visit in due course.

One bed was in a sort of alcove, which was nice for privacy. We had booked a room with two double beds but wound up in a room with one double and one single (we were charged less), so the outcome was fine.

Situated on a lovely square in the beautiful Chalons en Champagne, we took a quad room. Quite spacious and had a fan but very hot so needed window open which made it a bit noisy as bar below. Beds were very comfy. No shower just a bath.

Great location, very friendly staff, clean and modern rooms. No fifth star because there is no free wifi and because the renovation of the rooms is quite bland and took away the old charm.

The hotel is a few kilometers from the town-centre and doesn’t have a restaurant. The inside parking is paid (8 euro per night) and you have to be ‘in’ before 23h. The double shower-heads in the bathroom didn’t work and the mortar was a bit dirty. But the beds are very good. The receptionist was very helpful! And the breakfast -at a supplement- is extremely good.

Two overnight stays, on our way to and from Burgundy. We think the hotel is excellent and suited our purpose very well. Warm welcome. Storage for bikes and bike carrier. Good sized rooms. Good breakfasts. Book ahead if you want to eat at a good restaurant in centre of Chalons at the weekend but tried Le Chaudron Savoyard on a Monday and enjoyed a raclette..

We were sent to this hotel by the AA when we broke down down on the A26 about 5 years ago. We had such good memories of how well we were looked after on that stressful occasion that we decided to come again as a stopover on our journey back to the UK from a holiday in Switzerland this summer. The welcome was as warm as previously. We had a lovely family room - double and single beds plus fold up...

Exactly what we needed. Nice and clean place to stay. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Just a shame that we had no tea and coffee making facilities in our room and that the bar was closed so early with no possibility of getting a drink. Would stay again.

Very charming little hotel, cosy furnishings and feel to it and generally looked after ans clean for a cheaper end hotel. Breakfast very good and also in charming cosy dining room with table cloth on every table. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Stayed over night on our way back to UK. Wow what a fab place would love to go back, can recommend xx. Lovely evening staff and wine by the fabulous fire.

We enjoyed a comfortable, well-appointed room. Parking nearby is a nightmare so we were glad we booked a parking space that included free Destination Charging for our Tesla. We opted for dinner in the brasserie instead of the Michelin starred restaurant. We were not disappointed (in fact delighted) with the menu selection, attentive service or wines on offer. We will be back.

The hotel d’angleterre was a great experience. The stay far exceeded my expectations for this region. Large clean and bright rooms with well maintained bathrooms. A very good attached restaurant for any meals. Breakfast was basic, but included everything you need: eggs, bread, meats, cereal, and fresh juices. Staff was courteous.

Average. A little dated but clean and we'll run. Very good Restraunt. Book the restaraunt before the room to prevent disappointment. A B&B next to a Michelin Guide establisment. When the project is complete and all floors are refurbished it will be worth a visit.

Came through Chalons-en-Champagne and needed a hotel , first one we came was the D’angleterre. How lucky were we ! Friendly helpful welcome. Super hotel with exceptional food ! Good value considering the standard was so high, drop it in London or Paris and it’d been a £300 a night place. All the staff were great and definitely would recommend it. I’ll go back again and soon I hope.

Room ok if a touch on the small side but the bed was two singles pushed together, complete with two sets of bedding. Parking was very sparse and the receptionist had to help people find space to squeeze into. The restaurant was fully booked when we arrived. It would have been helpful to have been forewarned when booking that we may need to make a reservation. We'd traveled far so ate around the corner...

Good-looking hotel, comfortable rooms, nice staff, great location and easy cheap park just in front of the hotel. As it is an old building, the sound isolation is not great and you can hear the neighbours.
