Facing the fishing port of Honfleur, a quaint seaside town nestled on the Normandy coast, and historic rendezvous for artists from all around the world, the Best Western® Le Cheval Blanc is located at the entrance of the old harbor of Honfleur. The harbor welcomes year round the old rigging ships and many great sailing boats. The distinctiveness of the area lays in the Upper-Normandy style houses dating from the 17th, and 18th century, that make up the banks (classified site) of the harbor. We are located between the Lower and Upper Normandy regions, and close to the D-Day landings. Deauville is just 15 minutes away, 20 minutes from Le Havre (via the Normandy bridge), and two hours from Paris via A13 Motorway.

Within a few minutes walk you are right in the center of this lovely town. The Hotel has a big public parking area near that costs extra but the car can be stored away once you have arrived since you can explore everything in this area on foot.
The house is old, the walls are not very straight anymore and when walking around the floors creak a bit but all this makes it just very special.
the room hat enough space and only the bathroom is a bit tight and should only be used by one person at a time :). But the view from my room was excellent and you can just enjoy watching the tourists walking by.
Breakfast was also very pleasant and with a great variety of local specialties. Staff was friendly but I only saw one friendly person at the reception during my stay. No one at the breakfast bar was around but all was prepared well. I can very much recommend this place.
