Very clean and despite being close to the harbour it was very quiet and peaceful. A great restaurant caked “Sauvage” 2 doors down with exquisite food. The old carpets in the rooms could do with being removed and updated with vinyl flooring. That was the only issue, we enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect location for a stop over to or from Le Havre. Wonderful staff. Arrive early for secure parking. Great breakfast and close to the best Honfleur has to offer.

Perfectly fine stay. We were here just one night on our way down to Brittany and it served us well. Parking was easy enough almost opposite the hotel in a reasonably priced, small public car park. Rooms were basic but ok. Breakfast was typical French with everything you would expect. We all thought it was pretty good. All in all a cheap hotel which did the job well but maybe one night is enough.

This charming hotel is a most attractive building. There is parking but not a great deal, however there is more a short walk away. The bedrooms are comfy but dated. Modern electronics are not catered for and there is no in room Wi-Fi. The hotel is a short walk from the beautiful harbour. The bathroom floor is incredibly slippery when wet.

It's outdated. Small and awful beds. Paint is coming of the walls. It's not worth the price. Even for a budget traveler is not okay. Try to leave, but a refund was not a option. So we flushed €300 down the drain and found a far more better place to stay.

Good location , very dated rooms, breakfast was very poor for 13 Euros and there was hardly anything there - we had to ask for everything. Staff very pleasant. Mixed feelings about the whole place. Off road parking was very useful.

There was, let's put it charitably, inaccurate information on the part of the hotel about the available hotel parking spaces. We were briefly told that we had to park somewhere in the city. Then we were left standing. After we had digested that, we wanted to at least do our check-in so that we wouldn't have to lug our extensive luggage across town, as we didn't know where our car could ultimately be parked. We were rudely told that we had to leave the car park first. The hotel made no suggestion that we could leave our luggage at the reception desk, for example, or that someone could check us in together with our luggage. No solutions, only instructions in an inappropriate tone. In the hotel, the terms "friendliness", "customer-oriented" and "accommodating" seem to have no meaning. We waived check-in after an hour of discomfort. A guest house does not only have to look inviting, but above all needs atmosphere and a good soul so that guests can also feel at home. There was nothing of that here. Not Honfleur and the Hotel Diligence, then.

We stayed for 7 nights, with our little dog , in this ideally situated hotel. Having read other reviews, I am surprised at some negativity . This is a 3 star hotel in a really good location with very attentive and pleasant staff. The rooms reflect the age and style of the hotel. The standard of cleanliness is 5 star . Fresh sheets and towels and sparkling bathroom! The breakfast is typically french and generous. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. There is gated, on site ,parking with security code entry.would definitely recommend and will most certainly return.

We had a great stay at this quaint little hotel in Honfleur. We were greeted by a nice young man who spoke very good English, and who took excellent care of us in the bar. The location is super and our dogs were met with loving care. The breakfast was very French and very good. We highly recommend this hotel!
