The hotel is very beautiful and in an ideal location. I was disappointed with two things. Firstly, I did not find the majority of the reception desk staff very welcoming. They are very professional but there was no warmth or friendliness at all. Even though we are all wearing masks you can still detect a smile. They could learn from the restaurant staff who were polite and friendly at all times. Well...

Wonderful hotel located in a beautiful private park. Near the city center, beaches, landmarks and restaurants. Spacious, clean and quiet room. The food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was delicious. The staff is smiling and responsive, ready to help. To my luck, the receptionist was Bulgarian.

Really well appointed hotel, decent breakfast included and a decent shower. Nice big rooms and good air con. If you are a very light sleeper you may hear the train going past behind the hotel (not right behind but audible if you have all the windows open or are listening).

Small rooms but nicely renovated with comfy beds and modern bathrooms. Rooms with balconies and sea views are the best. Great value for money.

I liked it. Great view from the room. There is Parking,though why it is 200 meters from the hotel. Parking with automatic gate, of course,not guarded by anyone. Monaco is very close. But to walk not advise. A taxi will cost somewhere 55 euros.

Our room was very spacious and had a seaview with a balcony. The room was recently updated and clean. The included breakfast was ordinary and not much variety. There's only one elevator and no porter to help with luggage. However, the view of the beach and ocean definitely makes up for it.

Good location, nice surroundings, if you are lucky you can find a parking spot just in front of the hotel. After 7pm no need to pay for the parking.

Great location, right at the middle of city center and in the front of beach. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room was small and barely any space for our luggages. Other than that, nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast was very basic, but it was included in our reservation.

Hotel location very good Could do with a face lift new carpets painting etc! ! Paid for a balcony but told on arrival there were no rooms left with balcony! . But overall a good basic hotel.

Good hotel central position . Double entrance one on the main start along the sea and a second entrance on the center of the city in the Pedestrian area. Good intercontinental breakfast . Staff really kind and speak English and Italian. Good hotel. strongly recommended

The location is very good, central and on the beach. Room was quite comfortable. Near shops and restaurants. Not too crowded.

Our room was just ok. Not big enough but Air conditioner worked well. One receptionist maybe manager of the hotel is very kind and friendly. But one day when we called the reception and asked if they had a wine opener, she just said "No!" It is not understandable that hotel doesn' have it and her attitude. It was not very happy experience. 🙃

A very nice and comfortable hotel. The staff is very friendly. Carefully prepared food. Excellent cooks. Perfectly clean! I recommend it.

Would give a higher star rating, but the beautiful roof bar which boasted happy hour from 5.30 to 6.30, was being used for private functions on 2 of our 5 nights there. It seems it happens quite frequently!

It was a pleasure to stay at the Best Western in Menton. The hotel is in a very central location to all activities I wanted to do. Breakfast was great, the room was a perfect size. Make sure to visit the Rooftop for a cocktail! The hospitality was awesome, with a special thanks to Roberto, Valentina & Sandra for making me feel welcome. Rooms are fine, great breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. Only problem was the noise - my room was at the front of the hotel and although it was quiet at night I was woken up every single morning at 5am by trucks delivering food and laundry etc to the hotel. Super loud even with earplugs in! The staff very kindly moved me to a room on the side of the hotel but the windows are not well sealed...

We spent one night there at the end of october, and quality-priice was excellent. I don’t know the prices in summer or at the weekend, but for me is a great value. We booked a double room and the recepcionist gave us a double room with balcony for the same price. Pets allowed free of charge. Parking option with an extra price. Great breakfast with variety of products.

Centrally located and walking distance to everything. Markets around every corner. The staff is friendly and helpful and wonderful. The topmost apartment was a total dream. That balcony was my favorite part!

An amazing place to stay while visiting Menton is the Ibis Styles. We used it as a pied-à-terre and from there visited other French Riviera towns. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the beach. Although the rooms are small, they are very practically designed for a comfortable stay. Direct view over the Med / beach. Good quiet A/C and large comfy bed. Effective sound insulation when you shut the balcony doors isolated the noise from the road below. Plenty of options for blackout - shutters and curtains if you are a light sleeper. Large spaces in underground car park but reservation essential as numbers are limited - beware it is a steep ramp down if you have an exceptionally...

The room was very clean and updated, but basic. The view was excellent -- we had a terrace towards the sea. One issue is that there was no place to park to unload our luggage. They have one parking space reserved for this purpose, but it was taken (probably by their staff). Parking is also a problem, as they only have 5 parking spaces reserved for the hotel. Nice hotel close to the old city center and the sand beaches, not so far from the Italian border. They have a swimming pool on the sea side (close to the busy and noisy road) and a quiet and luxurious garden where you can have a breakfast.

The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the old town. The working hours are from 6 am to 11 am, and from 5 pm to 9 pm. There is an automated system in front where you need to enter your booking number, and the price is calculated per day. The reception staff was really friendly and spoke Portuguese. The room was nice and way more spacious than the budget in Cannes. The bathroom seemed to have been recently renovated. We stayed here for 2 nights. The service was nice and everyone really friendly. However, the room and especially the bathroom could definitely be cleaner. There was even mold in the shower. But for the price overall quite good.

Want the beauty of the French Riviera without fighting with the tourists? Head to Menton Garavan by train and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of this beautiful place without paying an arm and leg. The hotel is easy and right next to the sea and a beautiful swimming spot is only 10 minutes easy walk away! Only suggestions is that the hotel add a reminder to guests to not be too loud after 10pm. :)

Brilliant place, not sure why the reviews are mixed. I paid £40 a night for a four night stay, the room was small but for a solo traveller it was perfect, great aircon and a balcony overlooking the port. 20 minute stroll to Menton town but passing some fabtatsic beach bars on the way. Will definitely come back, what a bargain!

+ Good location, walking distance everywhere +very kind staff, doing their best for a pleasant stay +absolute privacy in the rooms -Rooms may be a bit noisy as there is a road in front of it. -we had to change a room due to the noise that was coming from the AC and we lost nearly half a day to transfer to the other room

Our second stay in this hotel but we are unlikely to return before some needed renovation. The bathrooms in particular need some investment. Also, the balconies need some form of shading from the sun (as with the hotel next door). Breakfast on the balcony is impossible.

The hotel rooms would really deserve a refreshment. We paid above 220 euros per night and the quality of the room was way below what we use to see for this price : 1st floor, old bathroom, 80's style furniture, no coffee, TV from another age. Surprising as the common spaces of the hotel are fairly new and well decorated.

Best thing about this place is the location and the price. We got a sea facing balcony which was amazing specially in the mornings. I recommend

Great hotel! lovely, clean and modern. Staff were very friendly, only issue was it was a 15 min walk to menton town centre. However, I would highly recommend it for location for exploring the French Rivera as it's easy reach of nice,monaco and Italy. Close to the station so easy to from nice airport and get around the riviera. Hotel right on the beach front to! 10/10.

Nice hotel in Menton, in front of the sea and very close to Monaco. Quite cheap considering the location, very good breakfast and beautiful rooms with balconies in front of the sea.

Nice hotel. Had a room with a balcony and a direct view on the sea. Breakfast for the price was nice. Bread, fruits, cheese, jam, ham, etc.

Loved the nice clean room and breakfast was okay. Friendly staff and within walking distance from the Train Station..There are 2 stations so be sure to get off at the right one, closest to the Hotel, about a 20 minute walk. Outside eating are was also very nice.

Nice little hotel. Rooms were in good condition and the service was fantastic. Needed to wait quite a while to get hot water in the shower, but we were there in the off-season.

I feel like I should have given this place 2 stars since it's in the title. This hotel is ⭐⭐ so not extremely fancy. Just a clean and pleasant ⭐⭐ hotel. But the people in there were super nice. We are used to a lot of air-conditioning and found our room to be a little hot, but the bathrooms were extremely clean. The man at the desk (I assume is the owner) is absolutely lovely.

Owners are lovely and very helpful but the hotel is tired and in need of an overhaul. That said, reasonably priced for a 2 star hotel with a great location.

The location of the hotel was great. A lovely walk along the promenade to restuarants for dinner. Parking was on the street, but easy, could be more difficult in busy times.

I liked it modern and clean inside. But I think price should be lower because it’s still just a 3-4 stars hotel.

New hotel. Plenty of free parking around it, do not pay for park service. Avoid sea view rooms, very loud street affects your sleep, the nice view on Menton is not worth it

The hotel is very modern and nice. I love the design but the best part of the hotel are the people who work there especially the man at the reception with the dark hair. He is really friendly and polite and he speaks English very well.

A basic 2 star hotel but very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Location is central. Excellent value for money. Definitely recommend. No need to pay more. NB no hairdryer in rooms

Clean room but no air conditioning or fans. Very noisy neighborhood so sleeping with windows and door open to get air very hard. Good location wise to two metro Probably better to stay late fall or winter.

A superb stay with a warm welcome. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived at the end of a long tiring day on bike with our young children. The lady at reception was so helpful over the phone (which decided our choice) and then she proceeded to find a secure lockup for our bikes, going above and beyond anything required to give us peace of mind. Cleaner/chambermaid (my floor 3rd floor) doing an excellent job of keeping hotel very clean to a high standard. I stayed for five days, all the staff very friendly, they let me keep my bicycle inside by reception at very short notice. I was given advice about what to see when cycling up in the hills. Room was ideal for my needs and the location is great. I will definitely return.

I have no complaints to make, except the very bad sound insulation between the rooms. I couldn’t sleep for a whole 2 hours because I could hear someone snoring through the walls.

Clean and spacious room, nice staff. Stayed here at the end of a bicycle trip and appreciated being able to put my bike in my room.

We really enjoyed our stay. Stay were lovely. Accommodation was basic but had everything we needed and location was central to everything.
