Loved our stay here. The hotel is close to the train station but the hotel is quiet. From the station for those with luggage - cross the plaza and take an elevator down to the street. Take a right and the hotel is just down the street to your left. The staff is lovely, extremely helpful and the rooms are bright and comfortable. The hotel is walkable to everything. Highly recommend.

Convenient location, good service, average facilities

The bathroom in the room is enough for one person, the facilities are a bit simple, and the service is enthusiastic. It is close to the train station, less than 100 meters away, so if you see that the train is on time, you can go back to the hotel to pick up your luggage in time. The train in Menton is unreliable.

Sadly didn't get to stay here, since the booking system on their website didn't work and when asking for help they haven't answered my emails. (They had answered a prior question of mine (quite poorly) earlier, but when I asked about this twice there's been no answer for 5 days.)
If the website doesn't work you could then book externally but they've ramped up the prices on other sites to about 30€ more, which I am not willing to pay. For that price I'd rather stay at a better hotel which actually communicates with customers.
It's a shame the hotel won't communicate properly (as seen in other reviews too) because the hotel itself seems really nice and has affordable pricing on their own website.

Quirky, very comfortable and absolutely the best place to stay in Menton. Not a big hotel, with 23 rooms, but so clean and quiet, only a 5 minute walk to the station, and 10 to the promenade and beach. Fabulous hosts, so nice, kind and helpful. We were very sad to leave. Oh and the breakfast, it's to die for! All local organic produce, with muesli, yoghurts, juices, jams, of course croissants, also seeded sourdough bread which was so delicious. Boiled eggs on request. A perfect holiday.

The hotel is very good. The gate and yard need IC cards to open, which is relatively safe. Parking is available on the street in front of the hotel, but you need to pay. You can rest in the yard, which is relatively quiet. The staff also gave us a map of Menton.

Stayed one night and chose the hotel for its proximity to the train station. We never heard a train however! We arrived early from Nice and were hoping to leave our suitcases but our room was actually ready and we were kindly given the key. Spacious first floor room, quite basic but had air con, comfortable bed and a small en-suite shower room. Spotlessly clean although the towels were very thin and frayed. Pretty little garden. We had to leave early so missed breakfast. Staff were friendly and it’s an easy walk down to the promenade. Good value for money.

C’etait parfait! We were meeting up with extended family and used this hotel as a base for a few days. Hotel is well run and cared for, the breakfast is most delicious when eaten outside in the sunny garden under the lemon trees. Setting is most convenient for the train (French trains are reliable, clean and not expensive), close to restaurants (would recommend Little Italy for lovely Italian food and Le P'tit Resto for lovely French food) and shops. Most people speak very good English but I was thankful for their patience as I tried to speak as much French as I could remember from school!

It was a great pleasure to find this hotel, the rooms are great, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the family that runs the hotel were always friendly and helpful. Also the location is excellent, close to the train station and numerous places to eat.
