My husband and I stayed here in July. We had a wonderful time. We love the spa facilities. The food was very good in the hotel restaurant. All the staff were very kind and helpful. We would like to mention the lovely receptionist Jenna who was very welcoming and helpful. Thank you, from the irish couple.

The service in this hotel is a bit peculiar because it is almost exclusively taken care of by students of the local hotel school. While everybody has to learn and I fully understand it, the client is nevertheless supposed not to be too much aware of it. The young lady in the reception was all alone in the evening and had to deal with a sizeable waiting line, the phone, the garage barrier and unfit reservation processes. This is a no go! The food in the restaurant tastes good but is apparently warmed up in the microwave. My magret de canard had a cold crust. I had a heavy stomach all night. I also was pretty underwhelmed with the waitress who spilt my wine whilst pouring it in my glass. In my 40 years hotel experience, this was a first. The location of the hotel is good close to the motorway and a busline in front of the hotel that connects in 20 minutes with the centre of the city. Rooms are spacious with a nice balcony.

I recently stayed at Hotel Vatel in Nîmes, and it was a delightful experience. Whether you're traveling for pleasure or business, this hotel is an excellent choice. The spa, pool, and fitness areas are lovely, offering a perfect place to relax after a busy day. The hospitality at the hotel is superb, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A special mention goes to Silvia at the reception, whose kindness and courtesy made me feel truly welcome from the moment I arrived. I highly recommend Hotel Vatel and will definitely return very soon.

Agreeable staff ,many spoke English. Very relaxing stay before my hospital stay. Good location for hospital visits or a quiet place to stay when visiting Nîmes. The only negative was our shower grout was dirty. We also ate there and the food was very good.

With breakfast, there was nobody to bake the eggs.
In the toilet the cover from the air extraction on the ceiling was very dusty (not clean), also a lot of stains present on the carpet and seat against the bed. (suite Diana)

Comfortable Stay
Nice hotel, convenient location, restaurant with very good food. The room was quiet and comfortable. There is a sauna and spa that I didn’t use. The only negative I experienced was that the hotel’s WiFi didn’t allow me to use my VPN. I would certainly stay again.

Very nice hotel and in a top location if you are traveling by car. It has window blinds that make the room 100% dark this is amazing for people they need dark to sleep. The spa and pool is top. I requested vegan and gluten-free food and the receptionist told me no problem at the end it was a problem but we can handle it even they put a egg on top of the risotto what should not happen for a vegan and the staff was very confused about they also give me gluten bread. Good that i ask 2 times. As one or even the best hotel on my way the Restaurant must improve the level about allergy knowledge even the staff is very friendly and helpful so i will be sure you can handle it in future. See you next time.

Very nice hotel with many facilities such as a swimming pool, gym, steam bath, etc and last but not least, very friendly staff!
