Maison Albar Hotels L'Imperator, Nimes1 / 50

Nimes, 15 Rue Gaston Boissier 🧭 Map
Excellent short stay at L'Imperator. Having initially booked an Airbnb who turned out to be a nightmare, I called the hotel in an emergency as I needed a room to stay and work. I asked for an early check-in and they agreed. The hotel is beautiful, there is an older part with a stunning staircase and reception room. I love the charm of the elevator. Rooms are spacious and well equipped and the spa is...
Wonderful Hotel! Great staff, very attentive and friendly.. Excellent location. The room was very nice and we had a great time.
I enjoyed a great 2 night stay here. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel is very classic, but features fun pops of color and modern accents that blend the old with the new. Centrally located, just a short walk from historic sites and shopping. Definitely plan a dinner at Duende -- a phenomenal culinary...
It’s like heaven on earth! From the moment I arrived I was warmly greeted by the manager, staff whisked my luggage to my room and I was given a tour of the hotel and the services on offer. Everything was excellent. Professional yet genuinely warm staff made you feel at home instantly. Rooms serviced twice a day, beds turned down and the impeccable finish touch of a linen mat to use prior to getting...
Absolutely phenomenal hotel!!! The staff go above and beyond in very way!!! Tristan was the first staff member to welcome my coworker and I to the hotel and it is obvious that he truly enjoys his job!! We will definitely return here. We are sad that our trip was too short. Absolutely remarkable place to stay. Thank you so much for welcoming us to your hotel!!
A restoration well worth waiting for - the grandeur is all the more appreciated because of the attentive team, who’s willingness is carried out in actions. You cannot fault their warmth and friendliness as though you’re visiting old friends. The food and drinks at the restaurant are excellent, equally so are their facilities - indoor and outdoor pool, spa, gym and relaxing spaces amidst the tastefully...

Hotel quite rundown and a bit shabby. Could do with some renovation and freshen up. Only met one member of staff when we asked for a kettle for the room and he was very helpful.
The staff was friendly enough. The beds were fine, clean enough, not super clean though. Everything did what it should do but I could see myself getting annoyed by some defects in the rooms if I stayed there longer than 1 night. There was plenty of room though!

Absolutely deserves the 5 stars. Unique boutique hotel with a personal approach and massive attention to detail. It is history made modern and comfortable. The rooms are large and spacious, and every common area is an art. Yes, many items are everywhere so that it can be challenging with kids. The staff is accommodating and polite, and at the same time, they are natural and casual. Victoria is the...
This is a place to visit and stay in the warmer months, or when there is much more sun. The indoor lighting is bare so colder months can be difficult to see. Service is with a smile and friendly. The stay here is about being around and in French vintage rather than the amenities. Location is decent to main area and other tourist areas of Nimes
Just whimsical ✨ The place is like a fairy tale. Each room, a colorful chapter of a magical story. The garden, a lush frame surrounding the sky, and every corridor, a pathway to different worlds. The incredible staff brought it all together exquisitely, crafting an unforgettable stay. Thank you! 😊
A truly exceptional hotel. Needless to say that the decor is one of a kind. Hard to believe when actually being there that this is a hotel and not a museum. But besides the splendor of the place, the staff was exceptionally helpful and professional. With ample experiences in "5 star hotels", I am not one to easily give such a glowing review, but this place truly deserves it.
What a wonderful hotel, we only had one night here but a beautifully finished hotel and absolutely spotless. We will be back.
The place is absolutely beautiful and rich with history. The staff is great, they are interested in their guests and helped us make our stay as good as possible. The spa treatments were excellent, we will definitely be returning to Jardins Secrets next time we're in Nimes!

The staff was nice, but the rooms are really old and the AC wasn't enough to cool down the room for 2 people. It has parking. I would recommend this hotel if you are in a road trip, but for the price I expected more
Clean, well located for walk into historic centre of city, about ten or fifteen minutes, good breakfast, all you can eat.

This place is amazing. The staff is super friendly. My company travel booked wrong BW by mistake, and the staff there did not speak English. This awesome lady at the desk helped me. I was so jet lagged and not the best at French (12 words and phrases) helped to move me here! So glad! The bed is comfy, the balcony is great. Good place to stay parking available. Close to railway station short walk to monuments. Short walk to restaurants in centre. room was small as normal but very very clean hot water kettle made available on request helpful staff - thanks sadly the shower is extremely small
The bed sheets were clean but the room would need some more regular cleaning, especially with a vacuum cleaner. There was a lot of dust in the room. The bathroom is very small, especially the shower where I could barely move (and I am not a big man). The people at the reception desk were nice.
Good for the price. Really appreciated the coffee machine and microwave in the lobby. Room was clean and tidy, with a tv. There were a couple of issues with the bathroom. The bath mat was not big enough to absorb enough of the water spilled on the floor from the shower curtains so the floor had a big puddle. The ventilator in the bathroom was also broken and the drainage system on the shower was quite...

Not a bad hotel, and good prices. Walls are paper thin though so can hear all conversation through the walls but otherwise not too bad and well located next to the station
I loved my staying at this hotel . Very good location. Walking distance from all major attractions and activities in the city, it’s located just across the street from train station. Costumer service was great, everyone went out of them way to help and provided information about the town. My room was great for the price I paid. I’ll definitely stay there again if I’m around:-)
Although 2 star rated, clean, fair and staff pleasant. My definite recommendation. In 2 a.m. the receptionist was awak (unlikensome better rated hotels) and let us in.

Totally satisfied and perfect for our purpose. Very friendly receptionists. Nice details, kettle for instant coffee or tea. Big and comfortable double bed.
Let's face it, it's not a hotel to spend your vacation. But it's perfect for a one night stop when traveling a few days. The rooms are really small but the friendliness of the staff and even a special gluten free breakfast make up the tiny room.
We crashed there late at night after a show in Les Arènes and they were quite helpful as they had a room for us. We didn't stay long and didn't try the breakfast. Kind of tricky if you don't have a car. Ring road hotel so you'll find ring road supermarkets around. Calm nights and comfortable bedding
Great little hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved my stay and look forward to my trip next year

The stay was fine, unless you consider the total lack of the air conditioning advertised. When I arrived, I found that the air conditioning had been shut off for the season--of course, without notice to me. I would not have booked this stay if I had known the true situation. Two small fans were provided, but it made my stay unpleasant.
The bed and the comfortable are really comfortable. There is a kitchenette and utensils included in each room. I only give this hotel a 3stars since the hallways smell like cigarratte although there was signs of "No smoking" and smoking is prohibited at the hotel. Also beware if you go out or come back to the hotel after 9pm. Ther outside of the hotel seems to be a homeless sleeping spot.
It is a budget hotel but the room was clean and the check in/out very quick. The location is superb. I recommend
We lived here for 2 months upon arrival and the people made it feel very comfortable. The staff got to know my children and were very friendly. During the summer the balcony allows for you to hear the concerts going on in the arena at night. Amazing location: town and train station are steps away; as is a grocery store underneath. Great place to stay. Also, it was very pet friendly (we have an 80...

very good quality-price rate in the very center of the old town. Parking a little bit expensive though.
What a great place to stay: gorgeous building, welcoming atmosphere, clean, good beds, hospital employees providing the wanted service/support exactly good (not too much, no too little), car parking around the corner, train station around the corner, great view from the room, good price/quality...I only regret that I couldn't stay another night
An unbelievable product that the hotel offers, for such a reasonable price. The hotel faces one of the cities best sites. The rooms are comfortable, ours came with a great view. Beds linens and pillows are first class sleeping material. The hotel is an upscale design with the nicest staff you can find. Yes a 5 star for their efforts. Thanks Appart,Hotel.!
This apartment has everything you need. Immaculately clean. Breakfast is very good but expensive if not included in your holiday deal. If you want clean towels, beds making up or changing, coffee maker etc. Check the cost, you are charged extra for everything.

Very nice hotel with many facilities such as a swimming pool, gym, steam bath, etc and last but not least, very friendly staff!
We had reservations and arrived at 8h20pm, the reception manager (who wearing with suit) wasn't giving enough effort to be nice and professional attitude, He lead us a unprepared table with missing chair, glasses. We are so disappointed for appetizer, food is so bland missing the spices and seasoning. Pretty much UNSATISFIED EXPERIENCE Compare with 4 month ago.

The staff are overly familiar. One of the lift-boys addressed me as "George Foreman ",which is not my name and, even had it been, surely " Mr Foreman "would have been more appropriate ?
Not a "Grand" Hotel at all. Service was ok. General decor weird and tired. Restaurant below average for France. The kitchen was leaking smoke smelling of burnt fat into the restaurant area and also the front entrance. Good enough for a stopover if there are no other choices. It's in a mall area that was desolate at night, but also convenient to highway.
Excellent property. Staff was very friendly, the room was spacious and sparkling clean, comfortable bed. Also the food was just wow. A great choice for a three day stay. Highly recomand❤

Cosy room, lovely hotel, polite staff didn’t have the breakfast as i’m vegan but otherwise 10/10 would stay here again !
A wonderful hotel . Room was great. Private balcony was a bonus. Air conditioning was fine. Bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Internal staircase was a masterpiece. All in all wonderful.
Beautiful hotel, speechless. Can't judge the look by its outside look, but the inside decor is stunning
We had a wonderful time staying at Best Western Hôtel Marquis de la Baume for the past few days. The room is great and clean. The only complaint would be that the bathroom is a little dated, and you can hear footsteps and conversations happening right outside the room, but it was mostly quiet during our stay. The bed and pillows are super comfortable, and we had really good sleeps the past few nights...
The staff are very friendly and professional. We arrived the hotel by 11 AM. Because it was not time for checking in yet, we left our luggage at the front desk. This allowed us to tour the city without luggage. On the second day, we left the luggage at front desk again after checking out, and came back at 3 PM to get the luggage before catching the train. The room we got was new and clean, very well...
Overall it was OK but let down by the bathroom which had a broken shower, broken shower tray and stained skirting boards, such easy things to fix and let down the hotel. It is well located for the city and the interior is lovely and staff very welcoming

A true boutique luxury in the heart of Nîmes old town, within easy walking distance of all the sites. We stayed in the Suite Georges, à total treat! Super high ceilings, terrace and sitting room. Loved the bed, the towels, the decor - top attention to detail. The staff were attentive and charming. A beautiful hotel for a special stay!
