Tristan was the first staff member to welcome my coworker and I to the hotel and it is obvious that he truly enjoys his job!! We will definitely return here. We are sad that our trip was too short. Hotel quite rundown and a bit shabby. Could do with some renovation and freshen up. Only met one member of staff when we asked for a kettle for the room and he was very helpful.

The staff was friendly enough. The beds were fine, clean enough, not super clean though. Everything did what it should do but I could see myself getting annoyed by some defects in the rooms if I stayed there longer than 1 night. There was plenty of room though!

This is a place to visit and stay in the warmer months, or when there is much more sun. The indoor lighting is bare so colder months can be difficult to see. Service is with a smile and friendly. The stay here is about being around and in French vintage rather than the amenities. Location is decent to main area and other tourist areas of Nimes

A truly exceptional hotel. Needless to say that the decor is one of a kind. Hard to believe when actually being there that this is a hotel and not a museum. But besides the splendor of the place, the staff was exceptionally helpful and professional. With ample experiences in "5 star hotels", I am not one to easily give such a glowing review, but this place truly deserves it.

The place is absolutely beautiful and rich with history. The staff is great, they are interested in their guests and helped us make our stay as good as possible. The spa treatments were excellent, we will definitely be returning to Jardins Secrets next time we're in Nimes!

Hotel close to the center. It's a shame there's a charge for parking, but there's free outdoor parking. The room is clean and very comfortable! I recommend it for the price.

Hello, unfortunately the hotel did not meet expectations. Rooms small and not renovated for a long time, big problem with English at the reception, coffee machine does not work, parking tiny and payable 5 EUR. The hotel is absolutely not worth its price. At most 40 EUR per night for two people

Price is quite reasonable with quality breakfast and facilities. Location is good with Aldi and Lidl nearby. Free parking

The location of the hotel is a little way from the urban area, and the supermarket is also far away, but the price is very high. The room is quite big, with a kettle, it is more convenient to drink hot water.

It's very close to the station. I arrived at night and left early in the morning, so I just slept there but there was a bathtub. The bathtub wasn't the type that you could fill with hot water, so I had to be creative and fill it up. There was an electric kettle, which was convenient. They also provided snacks. I wasn't able to use them at the time, but there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby...

Great location for visiting Nîmes without a car, plus there is a garage. Very warm welcome and very pleasant staff. The rooms are not very large, but very clean with everything you need (kettle, coffee, tea and biscuits)

We chose it for its location and private parking. Our room on the 1st floor was quiet. Its equipment poses problems, capricious TV, emergency kettle and random heating with complex operation. Bathroom deserves renovation. Quality bedding. Very good breakfast with multiple choices. Friendly and courteous welcome. PS: the photos on the site are not representative of the. Reality.

Beautiful hotel ideally located in the center of Nîmes and close to the train station. The streets are quiet, the room spacious and the staff very friendly. There is nothing to add. There is secure parking for safe parking.

The hostel is well located near the old city (10 minutes by foot). Hosts are very kind and room are clean. There is a parking (with extra fee) wich is very convenient. Breakfast is good, with plenty of organic food. I Spent a nice stay and will be glad to come back again.

The hotel is modern, clean and well located in Nimes. This was our second visit!

The bed sheets were clean but the room would need some more regular cleaning, especially with a vacuum cleaner. There was a lot of dust in the room. The bathroom is very small, especially the shower where I could barely move (and I am not a big man). The people at the reception desk were nice.

Good for the price. Really appreciated the coffee machine and microwave in the lobby. Room was clean and tidy, with a tv. There were a couple of issues with the bathroom. The bath mat was not big enough to absorb enough of the water spilled on the floor from the shower curtains so the floor had a big puddle. I loved my staying at this hotel . Very good location. Walking distance from all major attractions and activities in the city, it’s located just across the street from train station. Costumer service was great, everyone went out of them way to help and provided information about the town. My room was great for the price I paid. I’ll definitely stay there again if I’m around:-)

Although 2 star rated, clean, fair and staff pleasant. My definite recommendation. In 2 a.m. the receptionist was awak (unlikensome better rated hotels) and let us in.

The hotel parking lot is free. There are commercial centers, McDonald's restaurants, etc. nearby. The room is slightly small and the sound insulation is a bit poor. Everything else is good. The breakfast is acceptable.

Let's face it, it's not a hotel to spend your vacation. But it's perfect for a one night stop when traveling a few days. The rooms are really small but the friendliness of the staff and even a special gluten free breakfast make up the tiny room.

We crashed there late at night after a show in Les Arènes and they were quite helpful as they had a room for us. We didn't stay long and didn't try the breakfast. Kind of tricky if you don't have a car. Ring road hotel so you'll find ring road supermarkets around. Calm nights and comfortable bedding

We got off the train late, 45 minutes walk, very tired, the hotel is hard to find, and there is no separate toilet, the bed is a bit hard, the toilet is a bit small, I can't find the hairdryer, but the price is cheap.

The stay was fine, unless you consider the total lack of the air conditioning advertised. When I arrived, I found that the air conditioning had been shut off for the season--of course, without notice to me. I would not have booked this stay if I had known the true situation. Two small fans were provided, but it made my stay unpleasant.

The bed and the comfortable are really comfortable. There is a kitchenette and utensils included in each room. I only give this hotel a 3stars since the hallways smell like cigarratte although there was signs of "No smoking" and smoking is prohibited at the hotel. Also beware if you go out or come back to the hotel after 9pm. Ther outside of the hotel seems to be a homeless sleeping spot.

An unbelievable product that the hotel offers, for such a reasonable price. The hotel faces one of the cities best sites. The rooms are comfortable, ours came with a great view. We had reservations and arrived at 8h20pm, the reception manager (who wearing with suit) wasn't giving enough effort to be nice and professional attitude, He lead us a unprepared table with missing chair, glasses. We are so disappointed for appetizer, food is so bland missing the spices and seasoning. Pretty much UNSATISFIED EXPERIENCE Compare with 4 month ago.

The staff are overly familiar. One of the lift-boys addressed me as "George Foreman ",which is not my name and,even had it been, surely " Mr Foreman "would have been more appropriate ?

Not a "Grand" Hotel at all. Service was ok. General decor weird and tired. Restaurant below average for France. The kitchen was leaking smoke smelling of burnt fat into the restaurant area and also the front entrance. Good enough for a stopover if there are no other choices. It's in a mall area that was desolate at night, but also convenient to highway.

We had a wonderful time staying at Best Western Hôtel Marquis de la Baume for the past few days. The room is great and clean. The only complaint would be that the bathroom is a little dated, and you can hear footsteps and conversations happening right outside the room, but it was mostly quiet during our stay. The bed and pillows are super comfortable, and we had really good sleeps the past few nights...

The staff are very friendly and professional. We arrived the hotel by 11 AM. Because it was not time for checking in yet, we left our luggage at the front desk. This allowed us to tour the city without luggage. On the second day, we left the luggage at front desk again after checking out, and came back at 3 PM to get the luggage before catching the train. The room we got was new and clean, very well...

Overall it was OK but let down by the bathroom which had a broken shower, broken shower tray and stained skirting boards, such easy things to fix and let down the hotel. It is well located for the city and the interior is lovely and staff very welcoming
