Great hotel, very close to the centre and all the bars and restaurants. Helpful staff, nice rooms.

This hotel is well situated for visiting Pau and has good parking. However the rooms are much smaller than the usual Ibis rooms so I wouldn’t want to stay for more than one night. The sink is in the room as the bathroom is so small. That said the room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good, though the staff seemed overstretched so the buffet wasn’t replenished regularly.

The room was smallish and when you come out from the toilet you can hit someone if you don't know they are behind the door and that you can't have the toilet door or window or it hit. The car park is small as my partner had trouble parking his motorbike and the trailer as the car park was small

Good location, and did everything a hotel should on a business trip. Clean rooms, well laid out and bright. Bar/reception were always helpful and breakfast was good. Look forward to visiting again sometime.

Our group travels around France a few times a year and we usually stay at an Ibis because of their location, standards, and value for money. This was a good typical Ibis .
The only problem was that I had to phone to reception twice ,once just after 12.15 am and again at about 1.30 am . The reason was because a group of delivery guy's apparently always congregate in the underpass to the parking late at night and talk and laugh loudly. For two nights I was unable to sleep ,until they eventually went home . The staff of the hotel told me that it frequently happens but as it is not exactly the property of the hotel ,they can do nothing. Not a good feature for the hotel .

Rooms are tiny for 2 people with luggage and no security box in the room. The shower is very nice, spacious. Staff is really nice and always ready to help with a great smile. Great place and location for a short stay in Pau.

Nice location and helpful staff but the room was dirty and smelt of feet, there were something that I could not identify in the bathroom that looked like rodent droppings , see picture. I’d not stay here again and if I hadn’t been so tired I wouldn’t have stayed this time

I couldn’t stay as the dirty filthy tiny garage want big enough for my car. Access for disabled from the car park is also very difficult. The alternative parking offered was unacceptable to me due to my disability and it’s lack of security. A disaster.

This hotel was great and we’d have no hesitation in staying again. Great location in the centre of this beautiful town, in a quiet side street. The chap on reception was really good and offered us a welcome drink as soon as we arrived. The first room we were offered was on the second floor and as soon as we opened the door we were bowled over by the smell of smoke. Although it was a non-smoking room, someone had clearly been smoking like a chimney in there. We went back down to reception and although the hotel was full, the receptionist was able to find us an accessible room on the third floor (319). We were delighted as we saw immediately that the third floor had been renovated. The second floor was still Ibis from the early 2000s. Our room was lovely, spacious and modern. Nice wooden floors and even a heated towel rack! It was quite quiet overnight although we discovered in the morning that the cleaner’s cupboard was right next door so there was a bit of rattling. The biggest problem with this room (and this is why I’m not giving five out of five) was that we discovered that there was no door on the bathroom and toilet. It would not have been a problem if there were just one person in the room but if there are two of you, it’s rather embarrassing. Also, as there are two small windows in there - which is great for ventilation - the light streamed in in the morning. Please, Ibis, just pop a sliding door on! We peeked into other rooms on our way out and it seemed they all had bathroom doors so it’s unlikely to be a problem for anyone else. Enjoy your stay here… I’m sure you will!

Avoid if possible. Room is completely outdated, almost no space around the bed, and good luck entering the room, the door hits the bed while entering. Noise insulation is poor, you can hear the next door person’s TV and other whatever he/she’s doing in the toilet. Suspicious stains in the toilet and the roof above the shower was peeling on the risk of falling on top of me. Location is decent but good luck finding a place to park. Staff at the reception at night the day I arrived didn’t seem sober.
