Quiet location, even though only couple of minutes from the main road. Lovely food and service. Rooms were great, and clean. Cold filtered water machine, with sparkling option, for topping up bottles before leaving. Many thanks for another enjoyable stay!

~Good standard hotel with good electric car charging facilities. Good clean refurbished rooms and within easy walking distance of the Rennes Alma centre commercial shopping centre and walking distance to the Metro system which will take you to the city centre in around 15 minutes for less than €2 per trip, which you can purchase simply by scanning any contactless debit or credit card. Nice restaurant and outdoor pool and seating areas.

Wonderful hotel the staff were nice and it close to the shopping centre and it has a pool however it was quite cold. The room where clean and comfy and the restaurant had amazing food

Good hotel. It has a medium swimming pool which was ok for children. The breakfast was very good and staff very helpful. It has a commercial center just accross the street. The rooms were correct and clean.

At the reception they give us a small bag of treats. Very nice.
Staff: Very friendly, they make the stay very pleasant.
Location: brilliant.
Next to the hotel it is a big park, very practical for a walks with your pet. Carrefour nearby, cross the road and more facilities.
The FOOD: brilliant. Tasty and good service.
Breakfast - buffet
Dinner - A La carte
Extras: Small room for fitness, 5 machines for cardio & 1 machine for diverse exercises, towels and water.
Even a room for kids to play and lots of seats available to relax, have a drink or even read a book.
The water, you have a machine for water next to the lift, the bottle in your room.
Conclusion: we come back, ideal for us.

The room very modern, comfortable with a huge TV on the wall. The mini bar was complimentary (no alcohol). The bed was comfortable. There was an iron and ironing board. Good coffee machine to make an espresso.
The staff were really pleasant helpful and all seemed very happy. We used the gym, basic but had bike and rowing machine and the pool was great. We collected breakfast in a little bag and could eat it in our room. Loads of parking!

A family visit to my brother living in Rennes and decided to visit the Novotel bar for a drink. A decision we will live to regret. My order was for a mojito which took half an hour to be prepared, even though the bar was empty and we (4 people) were the only patrons. Unfortunately the drink arrived and looked lovely liked a collection of mint leaves drowning in a pool of water, sugar and a hint of rum. The rest of my party's were far from better (a sorry excuse of 2 Spritz and an awful red wine). When I complained about the Mojito I got sarcasm from the waiter. Avoid the Rennes Novotel bar at all costs, definitely not a 4 star hotel experience, more of a child playing with his father's drinks.....
