Novotel Alma
Rennes, 48 Avenue du Canada 🧭 Map
The room very modern, comfortable with a huge TV on the wall. The mini bar was complimentary (no alcohol). The bed was comfortable. There was an iron and ironing board. Good coffee machine to make an espresso. The staff were really pleasant helpful and all seemed very happy. We used the gym, basic but had bike and rowing machine and the pool was great. We collected breakfast in a little bag...
Nice hotel not the best front desk staff. Food is ok
Very comfortable room and memory foam beds great place for the kids with lovely food
Typical Novotel but very quiet. Restaurant acceptable.
Not up to par for a 4 stat hotel, deserves only 3 stars

Simply brilliant! Excellent staff! Thank you!
The hotel is conveniently located - between the train station and the old town. Everything is within walking distance. Clean and everything is convenient. We stayed for two nights. I recommend it.
The hotel is very centrally located. The spa is not up to par with what is expected. The water temperature is very cold and the facilities are usually turned off. There are many towels to collect. The room is comfortable.
Super location, with spacious rooms and clean bathroom.
Very pleasant stay at the hotel, the room is lovely and clean. The parking is extremely safe and secure. The service by a man named Christof was excellent. Our only issue was the TV not working properly, but overall we had a great stay.
I didn’t have high expectations when I booked this price in France. Fairly good It’s a good choice as a transit hotel

Ibis hotels are cheap college dorm rooms with bathroom, TV and wifi. This one is attached to train station. Functional not fancy.
Very good quality and excellent
Modern cheap hotel with spacious rooms very close to the center and obviously train station. Kind réception. Idéal to use as base to visites Rennes and Bretagne
I enjoyed my stay in Ibis hôtel Rennes near the train station. Very convenient in terms of location, in few minutes you have the city center. The staff is very helpful. I recommend.
Cosy and clean but rooms getting smaller. No room to sit down
Hotel located right next to the Train station, so very handy and best one for travelers that need to take the train the next morning, the room is big enough and clean, same for the bathroom , the staff always nice. Cons: -No USB outlet -It was $20 cheaper last year at the same time, but still cheap for what you get!

Location - across the Rennes train station is perfect no time how late you arrive at the city. Staff are polite and helpful. They are conversant in English which helps a lot. Room is very clean and spacious. Highly recommended.
Breakfast is good, and it's right by the train station.
Located very near the train station, room is a little small, breakfast is very good. The frontdesk is exceptional, in particular Loane who is extremely helpful, friendly and professional.
Unexpected for the great hotel to stay with good location. Staff very helpful. Breakfast so amazing.
Nearby the Gare, bus stations, very convenient. But hear some noises in the corridor. Like the room which is comfortable and spacious. Also, the young lady staff with smile and hospitality when my check in. Although stayed one night only, will choose this stay if come to Rennes in future.
Great location being so close to train station and metro (which is first rate). Friendly staff who spoke English. Room was clean with comfy large bed and crisp white linen. Also nice and quiet. Good bathroom with rain shower head and second shower head on rail. Towels not the biggest. Tea makings a bit lack lustre with no creamers/milk for us Brits. Carpets in corridor could do with hoovering more...

Nice Hotel Close to the Station. Very good bed, quiet, so we could relax For the next day. Hotel Made also space available For our bicycles
Service at the breakfast buffet was basically nonexistent and when we wanted to make a small change to our reservation, the hotel declined.
Just a short walk from the train station, the hotel is ideally located. The superior room is decent with a nice street view. The bed is large, but the mattress creaks and is very soft. Breakfast is adequate, however, there was no bread at 8:30 a.m. and 20 minutes before it was brought. Lack of follow-up at breakfast. Pleasant welcome at reception.
Clean and renovated hotel. Ideal location with train station access. Friendly reception. Heating noise issue, which is widespread according to reception. We unfortunately forgot our earplugs, and reception was out of stock.
There was a hairdryer and the room was very clean.
It's close to the station and very accessible. You can leave your luggage for free before check-in. The staff were also very friendly.

Lovely hotel, very modern. Has parking available. Separate toilet is incredibly small. Door almost hits toilet seat lol. Great service, beautiful fresh breakfast value for money.
One of the shortest hotel stay ever. I arrived the hotel past 11pm and then next day morning checked out at 630am. I would say this hotel in terms of convenience ticks the boxes. I took the bus from the airport and the bus stop I alighted is just a short walk to the hotel, so its quite easy to get to and fro the airport from this hotel. The same goes for the train station and the sights in Rennes....
I stayed here for 10 days, and it was a great location: close to the centre of town, and a 10 minute walk to the station. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean & comfortable, and it was reasonably quiet at night (no traffic at the back of the building, though occasional human noise). Though there was no kettle in...
You can't beat this hotel for location or breakfast. The rooms were large and comfortable but if you drive a car bigger than a shoebox, don't park in the underground parking lot. You'll have a nightmare trying to navigate the bends into and out of the parking lot. I had enough after a day so I parked down the street in the shopping mall.
Very nice, inexpensive hotel. The room was bright, clean and very comfortable. As was the bed. My windows faced the street, but it was very quiet. The shower was very good too. Location is perfect for exploring the centre of Rennes on foot. Will definitely stay there again.
room was spacious & shower facility excellent.

Uphill small and cute hotel. Excellent location if your office view is in the university campus. Underestimate the hills and be confronted with too bold a behaviour the next day. Small parking but it looks like one can park anywhere on the streets anyway. Breakfast on the inside or if brave enough you are on the tiny terrace. Croissants, chocolate cookies, fruit, yoghurt, but no vegetables. Eat them...
Stayed here during my visit to a conference. Staff are friendly, but facilities are very average, and will match the price, to say. WiFi is a special mention, it reminds you of yesteryears' dial-up connection. They don't have dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and there are no eateries nearby. The closest one is nearly a km or two away. Good for a stay of a night or two if you pass by, or for...
Rooms at Campanile standard, which means excellent quality, yet small, for those who mind. Breakfast quality not as good as before, less fresh fruits, but still very decent. Location convenient near University, a bit in the middle of nowhere otherwise, but easily reached by bus from City center
My niece and myself stayed here on our way to Chevanceaux when my clutch went and we hobbled in late in the evening. The staff could not have been more helpful and myself my niece my two dogs and a cat shared a room for the night. I had booked two rooms for us at the Hotel Mecure in Nantes but we didn't make it there. Next morning Etienne help us to locate a towing company who took my car to a garage...
+ Quiet place. Breakfast is o.k., the most delicious croissants I have ever eaten, but not very good choice of cheese and sausage. Friendly staff. - Rather far from the city centre. No fridge in the room.

Lovely hotel with interesting interior. The rooms are very individual. We relaxed in the bar area after arrival and enjoyed the music at a level we could chat easily while enjoying a glass of wine after a stressful day
Enjoyed my stay, awesome experience.
Very nice hotel, a personal welcome and fresh rooms!
A unique hotel you must stay at when visiting Rennes and the surrounding! The owner with a great experience in the hospitality business created that wonderful place with a touch of Art of all sorts. You need to see it for yourself and experience the relax atmosphere. Bikers are most welcome. The location next to the green belt of the River Vilaine is perfect. Quiet residential area just a few steps...

We had a lovely stay at Hôtel Lanjuinais. The hotel was conveniently located both near the Rennes historic center and train station and was well maintained. Our family room on the ground floor was amazing - so spacious and comfortable - and we loved the little communal dining area where you could go and make a hot drink at any time. The staff were also amazing, especially Rachel at reception who was...
The apartment was really cozy and well located, it was a pity for the trouble I had with the deposit. Above all I suggest "mending" the wi-fi
The hotel is very well located near the city centre. Staff was very kind and attentive. Rooms were clean, although a bit small, but it is a good choice for a short stay in Rennes. The only problem for summer holidays is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms. Our room had the windows locked, so we were really hot and sleeping was difficult due to the high temperatures.
The experience was cool. The only problem was related to taxes payment, because I did when the check-in took place but they did not attach it into my reservation. When I did the check-out they asked for the taxes again. Otherwise, there was no problem with it and they understood It.
Hello, I am always happy to stay at Hotel Lanjuinais. Best Hotel with excellent location at city centre of Rennes. Very good staff and hotel has excellent facilities. I would like to stay again.
Nice and cost, very well decorated. Room was small but great for that price and has everything you need. Receptionist was very friendly.

Location very good and cost effective option for one day stay over.
Room was bright and fresh, very well maintained room. Dormitory style single room great for when you just arrive in rennes.
It was close to the train station.
The rooms were clean, if small. The reception was very friendly though and the location is superb.
Great location, comfortable accommodation I appreciated being able to leave my bag at the hotel in the morning, arriving well before check in time. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable but there was little room to move - a single bed in the room would have been much better. Great location, so close to the train station.
À night in Rennes Great little hotel close to downtown. Breakfast is amazing

We were received like kings very friendly staff, correct and accommodating the room clean and perfect for a small couple. The price is not high at all. We strongly recommend
Hotel with a pleasant welcome, attentive staff who do what is necessary for the good of the customer. Quite spacious room, even with a kitchen area. Only downside, the places ... No parking so a big pain to park near the hotel. he
Very good location, about ten minutes walk from the city center of Rennes, in a busy street but quiet despite all the evening. Warm welcome and staff available. Price below average in this area. But ... dilapidated hotel, inadequate room equipment or poor condition, warm water and unheated shower room, soundproofing between rooms nonexistent, wooden floor on all floors and uninsulated ceilings, breakfast...
Great budget place to stay in Rennes. The breakfast could have been better!
Simple and perfect. Room and bathroom small but extra clean. Bedding very nice. There are rooms of different sizes if needed, specify your expectations When booking. Home very attentive, we had to leave earlier than planned for a family imperative, the staff has "put in 4" to find a solution, thank you again
Small and friendly hotel, not far from the centre of Rennes. The entire hotel and well-maintained and very clean. However, the access to the room will be almost impossible for a person with reduced mobility... Very good report quality price.

The hotel has great location. The room and bathroom were clean. I had a great stay here
It was a good place that was close to the Christmas markets. No nonsense clean room, with big beds. Didn't try the continental breakfast but enjoyed our weekend in Rennes at Christmas.
If you love your breakfast this is the hotel for you ! 4 different home made cakes, 8 types of leaf tea, as many flavours of jam, breads, pastries,.....this is one reason to love independent hotels.
The hotel is nicely situated in the center at a close proximity to everything. The room was nice and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was okay, nothing fancy. The entrance of the hotel is a little creepy, and the stairs are rather small and uneven but once you get to the room you forget about that. Overall good stay for a night or two.
Great service, great food. I love it!!
Beautiful room and attention to detail. Gentleman on reception was lovely. Friendly and his customer service skills were excellent. Well done.
