This was a stopover on the way to St Malo. It served its purpose. The hotel staff try quite hard but we were left with the sense of the hotel being simply functional. No real charm involved in this property. The shopping area next door was noisy during the night. There is no parking associated with the hotel but there is an arrangement with the local public underground car park about 7 minutes walk...

For the good points, comfortable bed, pleasant staff, well soundproofed room especially when you are on the right side, that is to say in the rooms not overlooking the Colombier slab. On the other hand, somewhat limited carpet in the room and really aging sanitary facilities.

It is about 700 meters away from Rennes train station and it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the old town of Rennes. The hotel room is of a decent size, but the facilities are relatively simple, basically there is nothing, and the towels are thin and the hair is washed off. This price is not worth it.

Very nice hotel. Great location. Good breakfast. It has a part for kids to play and relax. The staff is friendly and helpful. Few suggestions: include a PRM ramp in the entrance, also for luggages; extend the reception to avoid clients waiting (only one person now); the parking price is a bit high for a city like Rennes. But overall this hotel is a great place to stay. I would repeat.

A clean, well air conditioned, comfortable room quite near the train station. The breakfast buffet had lots of options and was plentiful. Granted, this is a chain hotel, but after a long day of traveling in the heat, the creature comforts and kind service were much appreciated.

Good modern hotel in the centre of Rennes. Spacious clean rooms, air conditioning, swimming pool, comfortable beds. 3 mins walk from the De Gaulle metro station. On the negative side: rooms facing the Main Street (cafes and restaurants) may become noisy in the evening, especially on Fridays. But considering the overall standard in Rennes, I think this is one of the best hotels you can find here.

We dined in the hotel after we checked in and Zou looked after us so well. She was so incredibly busy but she didn’t stop smiling and was so lovely to us while we dined. What a great member of the team - the hotel is lucky to have her.

Good hotel. It has a medium swimming pool which was ok for children. The breakfast was very good and staff very helpful. It has a commercial center just accross the street. The rooms were correct and clean.

Quiet location, even though only couple of minutes from the main road. Lovely food and service. Rooms were great, and clean. Cold filtered water machine, with sparkling option, for topping up bottles before leaving. Many thanks for another enjoyable stay!

The room very modern, comfortable with a huge TV on the wall. The mini bar was complimentary (no alcohol). The bed was comfortable. There was an iron and ironing board. This hotel in the heart of Rennes was recommended by a local friend. It's a good value hotel. It's right in the city center, and you can get everywhere by walking downstairs. The sofa bed in our room had to be put down, so the space was a bit tight, but it was cleaned very well every day. In short, it's a small hotel with its own unique style.

This was the only hotel in the travel group tour that was decent enough for me. AC, close to the trains and semi-near enough the center for restaurants. Your typical Ibis chain hotel, get what you are prepared to pay for. great location to Gare De Rennes if training. Rooms are typically budget sized with ensuite pods . In saying that reasonably sized shower. Comfortable enough for an overnite stay. Continental buffet breakfast option adequate , very french. Comfortable enough beds. Would rate good as opposed to average.

The hotel is conveniently located - between the train station and the old town. Everything is within walking distance. Clean and everything is convenient. We stayed for two nights. I recommend it.

The hotel is very centrally located. The spa is not up to par with what is expected. The water temperature is very cold and the facilities are usually turned off. There are many towels to collect. The room is comfortable.

Beyond the impersonal side of the hotel, the welcome is pleasant although the lobby is small and not very cheerful. Nothing to say about the clean and pleasant room (heating) the proximity of the station is an asset.

The hotel is perfectly located, close to the train station, and yet very well soundproofed: we do not hear any outside noise from the room. The breakfast was really superb. To be able to fully enjoy it, we would have liked not to have the "news" in the elevator, which are generally not good and which we would like to do without during a weekend :)

It only takes 5 minutes to walk to the station. The location is excellent and you can store your luggage for free, which is very convenient. The attitude of the service staff is very good and there is no problem in communicating in English.

Breakfast has good variety. There is a small gymnasium room with treadmill and bicycle. Staff are friendly. Walking ~ 15 -20 minutes can access the tourist spots like the Cathédrale Saint-Pierre, canal, Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rennes...

The room is outdated and has a faint odor. The air conditioning barely works. Breakfast is very simple considering the price. The parking garage is tight, with limited space to maneuver—especially for larger cars. The location is great, close to the city center.

We chose the accommodation because it was an aparthotel and had a kitchen, but the reality is that it's not practical at all. The room was barely bigger than a hotel room, and the kitchen had practically nothing to clean up. The stove didn't work, so we couldn't use it. It was practically the same as a hotel, but without those amenities. The bathroom was huge, though. They also charged a 150 euro deposit...

Despite the location of the hotel and the chairs in the rooms needing to be changed, we had a good stay.

Disappointing. Very basic for a four star. Tiny room (319) and I was woken up at 5am with a really strong smell of baking which was unpleasant. Breakfast was not great. A few Staff nearby chatting who had ignored the fact much of the food had run out so there was a long wait to get this sorted. Very diy with drinks machines etc I’ll not stay here again.

Convenient hotel. Nice hotel, well situated for centre of Rennes but difficult to find parking because of one way systems and 3 Mercure hotels in the city. Limited parking for high vehicles, most parking underground, max height 1.80m. Very helpful receptionist. Comfortable double bedroom but tight space, one chair for a couple. Large shower unit.

Brilliant location. Parking available but it is a bit tricky if underground, but we managed it with BMW estate. Very clean and comfortable, we had superior room overlooking side road. We ate at the La Choppe, which we enjoyed. Breakfast was fabulous! Great choice.

A few minutes walk to the centre of the city with the river on your doorstep. Rooms are excellent.

The location is excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Tom was comfortable. We didn't try the breakfast. It seemed expensive. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived even though it was an hour after check-in began. We had to wait almost 30 minutes for our room. Other than that it was a very nice stay.

Meh The room's cleanliness leaves something to be desired. Suspicious stains on the bed cushions... The lights in the entrance don't work. The elevator is very loud, even though the room is separated from the elevator by the stairs. For breakfast, yogurts bought at Lidl were a bit limited for €13!

The room was dark and not very clean. The receptionist was completely uninterested and dismissive. She wasn't very helpful with our questions about restaurants and attractions. The on-site parking is a definite plus for the hotel.

I have only the best words to say for this establishment. I've done all the French northen coast, and I always see overpriced hotels, badly equipped with bad service. But these people are friendly and kind, the rooms are top class and beautiful, and the parking is just outside the door. Frankly worth trying it

Used it a few times when visiting Rennes. Quiet location. Excellent value. No coffee in room but a free machine downstairs for unlimited use. Friendly staff limited English and my limited French made it a funny experience. Will use again

Small but comfortable room. The staff is helpful and pleasant. The hotel is convenient, good for getting back on the road quickly. On the other hand, it was too hot in the room; there was no way to lower the temperature with the air conditioning; we had to open the window all night. No elevator, two floors to climb with suitcases, a bit difficult if you're alone.

This was the best budget hotel that I have stayed in and would highly recommend.

Basic budget hotel as you would expect. It seemed very new and clean however. Very friendly and welcoming multi-lingual receptionist. Breakfast is the standard fayre for this level of hotel. Perfectly acceptable for the price. The only downside is the lack of a hairdryer in the room which is kind of a minimum requirement these days.

Clean and comfortable in a good location. But it advertises on ******* that it has a front office safe and also says the same in the information book in the room. When we asked to use the safe, the receptionist said there wasn’t one and that it would best to leave our passports in our room (which we would never do). She said there was a locked office with a locked drawer but that guests didn’t use...

We found this Hotel to be in a fantastic location close to anything you would need including the train station. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. If you like to people watch this is the place/area to be. A/C worked good, Bathroom was nice, bed was comfortable. Underground parking was tight, as most are, but very convenient, more so if both elevators are working, otherwise some extra steps are needed. If you can't do stairs at all, might be an issue, both in parking and hotel. I would go back.

The location is excellent in the old city part, very close to my convention place with many restaurants nearby. The hotel building is old, with only one one-man elevator. The shower is very bad: a small tube just enough for one person standing. The water was small and the hot water was not hot enough. During my stay, the internet did not work. There were two nights with noisy party nearby until ...

Service at the breakfast buffet was basically nonexistent and when we wanted to make a small change to our reservation, the hotel declined.

Just a short walk from the train station, the hotel is ideally located. The superior room is decent with a nice street view. The bed is large, but the mattress creaks and is very soft. Breakfast is adequate, however, there was no bread at 8:30 a.m. and 20 minutes before it was brought. Lack of follow-up at breakfast. Pleasant welcome at reception.

The hotel is well located, close to the train station and tourist part of Rennes. The room was clean and comfortable. The double door ensured soundproofing. My only comment is that the Wi Fi was not working when I arrived and was restarted the first day., The second day it stopped working again and the man at the reception insisted that it does work even though in my phone it clearly said "disabled...

It‘s location directly on a street near main station makes it good located but also prone to the danger of having constant traffic (noise). It is not heavy traffic and earplugs make it go away.
