The location is fabulous! We love the style the hotel. It’s not a luxury modern hotel, but we loved this!

This is a lovely hotel situated next to the Botanical gardens. It is an excellent hotel, modern and ideally located 5 mins from beach and a lovely 30 min walk to Ste Maxine. All internal communal areas are very clean; special mention for the groundsman as the pool and surrounding gardens are well kept. Breakfast is always very good. Small thing - we prefer bottled juice to the ‘automated’ machines...

The hotel is located in St.Maxime, facing the sea, with elegant interior decoration, small and exquisite, a small swimming pool in the courtyard, very quiet at night, and a very rich breakfast! Although the room is not big, there is a small terrace where you can sit on a rattan chair and watch the sea. There is a yard next to the hotel where you can park, but the fee is expensive (30 euros per night...

Nice midsize hotel for a short stay. One of the reasons to book the hotel was the picture of the poolbeds wit cushions. Dissapointing was that the cushions were not there.

Cosy hotel. As expected , a friendly place. Nice situation, although the rumble of traffic was pretty constant. Our stay coincided with May holiday when the weather was warm. Very nice but the A/C was off. Made room stuffy. We felt very welcome there and would not hesitate to return.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was very clean. Room nice with balcony. Great selection for breakfast. One block away from beach and restaurants. Just an overall quaint little hotel.

Okay good Simple, clean, convenient location, easy parking…we had exactly what we wanted!! The only issue was the traffic is quite heavy and noisy even thought we were provided a room not facing to the main road.

The rooms have been completely renovated, everything has been really well finished. The location is good, very close to the beach and just a few minutes drive into Sainte Maxine. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is perfectly positioned opposite the beautiful beach in the south of France with a few private beach bars and restaurants opposite. Very nice place, but unfortunately on the side of the road so we can hear the noise of cars a lot.

Interesting place, we ate a pizza, good is an understatement, very nice and polite staff, despite a small delay in the fourth pizza, they came to the table apologizing. At the end of the evening the pizza chef also came to greet us, a beautiful discovery was Neapolitan.

Room had good layout, but was partially worn down. Mattress felt old and used. Towels had defects and shower head leaked so that there was no proper stream of water. Biggest service annoyance: They tried to charge my credit card half past eight in the evening, which was refused by my bank for security reasons (balance was more than sufficient). Instead of waiting with payment until the next morning...

I called the hotel before booking on Booking.com because I was told they could offer a better rate. At the time, Booking.com was offering €254 + taxes, but the hotel charged me €268 + taxes. On top of that, I was also charged €25 for parking, which was never mentioned in advance. Total 297, such a difference. Disappointing experience — I expected more transparency. The rest was very nice.

Nice Provenzal small colorful hotel, with comfortable rooms, some of them with a small balcony. Bathrooms are clean, and save for the height of the WC (well above standards), they are spacious and with plenty hot water. Overall, a nice little place. The only drawback was there were too many rules (check in time until 8PM or face a big penalty, pets are allowed but cannot stay by themselves in the room...

Charming hotel in the heart of Saint-Maxime, perfect for a stopover or a longer stay. Virginie was so helpful as we arrived late from the airport and she went out of her way to recommend restaurants and things to do. The rooms are super comfortable and incredibly clean. I can’t recommend more highly this beautiful place and corner of France!

Small Hotel without elevator located in the middle of the city centre. it is rather hard to find the entrance of the hotel in the first. It is located behind a local restaurant. On our first night we went for a swim with a car and when we got back, local road where blocked and we had to take a detour to get to the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others. We especially loved the convenience of the location close to restaurants and the ferry to St Tropez. Our bed was comfortable and the room was spacious, quiet and clean. Staff was friendly.

10 minute boat ride to Saint Tropez. Really nice little town. If you rent a car there are nearby hikes and beaches and other towns to visit. If not there is a coach bus. Lots of cycling in the area. Great staff, no kettle, coffee etc but really well located and nice for the price.

This is the forth time staying at this magnificent, family owned hotel. They are so welcoming and accommodating. My husband and I felt like family. The breakfast was delicious, some items were home made. The location is fabulous. We could see the ocean from our room. We will come back. Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful provence style hotel, the staff are wonderful and so is their hospitality. Breakfast was continental style and plenty of it. The room had great aircon which was welcomed every day. Jennifer was fabulous at communicating with customers prior and during our stay. The location was great, just a short drive into St Maxime or walkable if you wanted depending on outside temperatures...

Great place. Not meant to be super high class or large big box hotels. Yet the charm, service, little things really makes this place one of the best experiences I’ve had in my French Riviera trip.

We stayed here as my husband and I toured the south of France and found the property to be fairly basic and an older property that feels dated with no amenities. The bedding needs to be refreshed. It was clean though and quiet with lots of parking and there some cafes nearby if you drive 5 minutes.

The location was very nice and conveniently close to the beach. We enjoyed the water very much. It was a little too far from the city center to walk, but we were told we could take the bus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast could be improved with a few more choices of food. Overall it was a great choice for us. It is definitely recommended.

Superb. We had room 15, the apartment, it has it's own private secluded terrace, air conditioning in main room and main bedroom, two bathrooms cooking facilities, and a cleaner attends every day. It is, quite literally, over the road from the beach, but you need not leave the apartment because of the lovely pool with loungers around it. It was height of summer and yet we only ever encountered a few...

Positive: friendly animators, pleasant swimming pool (deckchairs available), sea 2 steps from the VVF, very responsive team in the event of problems in the accommodation, we had them intervene for ants. - the outings offered (St Tropez, fireworks, etc.) are affordable - appreciated children's club Negative: - the animation was really not that great, we didn't feel too much team cohesion and a lack...

True to the VVF label, absolutely perfect for a family vacation! To emphasize, a caring team, always smiling and understanding, from the reception to the restaurant, through the animation! On site: restaurant, bar, children's clubs, children's park, volleyball courts, petanque, mini-golf, bouncy castle, swimming pool,... Everything on site to make life easier! The animation team is particularly dynamic...

A relaxing place. The animators very nice. And if you do not want to panic Christophe the bartender is here to serve you. If you want to relax, whether you are a family or not, there is something for everyone.

Nice complex, lots to do and beach is 300m away. Short trip via bus (35min or car 20min) to St Tropez. Good shopping on the main street.

Very good address in Ste Maxime. Fairly large room, well-equipped bathroom, generous and quality breakfast. A stone's throw from the Bateaux Verts pier which shuttles to St Tropez. Many bars and restaurants nearby. It shouldn't be easy to park in the area in season but fortunately, in October (and throughout winter?) parking in the surrounding streets is free. Large car parks still require payment

We stayed for 1 night in this wonderful hotel in an excellent location, slap bang in the centre of Sainte Maxime. The rooms are lovely, bright and spacious and well equipped for a 3 star, though limited tv channels. The terrace out front was just in front of the marina and lovely for breakfast or a coffee. Breakfast buffet was great, not a 5 star but perfect for a 3 star and staff were all helpful...

Small hotel for my taste very well located, because close to the beach and the center while being far enough away to be quiet. Thank you to the super friendly boss, who helped us out when we had no reservations. Room not very big but clean, and good bedding. Breakfast on the rural terrace, plentiful, in the shade, in short, very good memories and it is quite possible that we will come back to it.

Castellamar is really a superb little hotel, perfectly situated three minutes walk from the beach and ten minutes from the centre of the town with a wide range of good restaurants and bars. But the special thing about this hotel is the owner Philippe, who is an extremely friendly and welcoming host, doing all things possible to make the stay enjoyable for us, including serving a delicious breakfast...

Great stay (5 days) in this very charming hotel in the city center of Sainte Maxime. The superior rooms with balcony are perfect and you sleep very well, the air conditioning is a big plus during the hot summer months. Breakfast is served on a pretty terrace with lots of trees, it is plentiful: pastries, breads and butter, jams, fresh fruit juice, seasonal fruits, a fabulous French toast with a panacotta...
