We enjoyed our stay. Great location and everything was spotlessly clean. We only stayed for 1 night but we will definately return. Loved the town, restaurants, shops and galleries.

We stayed here to see Van Gogh, and learn as much as we could about him and the place he spent a year in. We found a beautiful town which rises to the occasion, to the incessant drumbeat of tourism. This hotel was just what we wanted in the sense that we were not going to spend alot of time in the room, but rather in the streets of Saint Remy.

Great little hotel only a few minutes walk from the heart of St Remy. The room was very clean and a comfy bed. Plenty of parking spaces and a nice pool with sunbeds. Hospitality from the hotel was very good and they were very helpful.

Quite simply one of our best hotel stays. We had 2 rooms, one with twin beds for our twenty something sons and the suite with the balcony for my wife and me. Staff was tremendously helpful. Rooms clean and the beds were unbelieavably comfortable.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Every aspect was as good or better than the website shows. Lovely and quiet hotel 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. The pool area was relaxing and had enough space for all guests. The rooms were comfortable and each had a little outdoor courtyard. Only negative is that it is quite expensive for a 3* accommodation

We would highly recommend this hotel. The proprietors and staff were friendly and attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonder visit to the area. The rooms are modern, clean and well appointed. There is a delightful pool and garden in the back where you can enjoy a glass of wine. Excellent in every possible regard. The room was super clean and comfortable and the decor fantastic. All the common areas of the hotel are also very beautiful, including the garden and pool (which sadly we did not use because it was too cold in January). The service was wonderful and we were made to feel very much at home. I would therefore highly recommend this hotel.

A little DIY to do to achieve a good 3 stars (pierced faucet, lamp that does not work and sliding entrance door that does not close on one side forcing the shutters to be closed ...) Being a bit of a handyman I think we should repair before renting! Otherwise a quiet and easy residence to go to town without your vehicle.

Great value for money. The hotel is 2mn away from the city center, yet the trees secluding it from the adjacent road provide peace and quiet. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

We loved staying here - fabulous warm hosts. Room comfortable and a feeling of " coming home" at night after a busy day sight seeing. We stayed at Hotel Amandiere on a bike trip through southern France. The staff were so kind with our limited French. The welcomed us with smiles, and explained to us without difficulty how to use all the services. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have come across in our travels. It is an old hotel with Zen / Oriental atmosphere. The physical key is still used for the door lock. It has free parking. The staff speak perfect English and is friendly. Breakfast with 15 euro which is decent. The only downfall for me is the bedsheet and blanket. I don't like wool texture. It would hard to make it clean. I cannot adjust the temperature of the heater in my room

Such a beautiful location surrounded by wondrous trees. The chateau is delightful having not been tarted up as sadly is happening all over France. The food was very good indeed. We only went for dinner so cannot comment on the rooms.

Nice place relative to hotels in town of St Remy. Large clean rooms and bathroom. The tub is on the high side for seniors like me to get into. Would not recommend having breakfast or dinner here . Restaurant staff especially were not that helpful considering the charge for the breakfast! But on the whole a lovely place to stay !

What a great relaxing stay here. We enjoyed the clean room, sauna, and big pool! Plus the breakfast was delicious and the service was impeccable and very friendly! Getting to St. Remy is a 5 minute drive away and the hotel helped us by making dinner reservations. Highly recommend!

No question - the food is good. The service is good and the ambiance is good. We had the prix fixe lunch menu. My only complaint is that the portions were really small.

The food here is not as good as other similarly priced/rated establishments. Service is a bit fussy, very nice dining room with welcome roaring fire.
