Wonderful hotel perfectly located for St Remys. The restaurant is exceptional -- we had wonderful breakfasts and dinners. Pool and pool area very good with plenty of sun beds. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall would highly recommend.
Gorgeous property great location This was a beautiful 5 star hotel. The property is gorgeous. The room is small but lovely- nice bathroom and bathtub. We had a fantastic dinner at the gourmet restaurant. Outstanding. The server was lovely. We took their shuttle into town and that was great. Got to the market and did some shopping. Concierge super helpful also. My only comment is I did not like their...
A vacation in itself. Staff exceptional in meeting every need. Beautiful gardens and pool on site convenient fast and easy shuttle service into town. Will definitely return everyone we are in the area.
The hotel setting is beautiful the surrounding area was typical Provonce. The room was light and airy, we had a terrace with a charming outlook. Breakfast was fantastic the food selection and staff added to this experience. The nightly room serving with fresh towels and water was appreciated. The linen, bed and amenities were first rate. The spa was packed with options including a gym with the latest...
The concierge and reception were very good, welcoming, efficient and helpful. They called up the shuttle within a few minutes every time wherever we were, we found that really useful. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was excellent. The bathroom and separate loo worked fine. Everything was well designed and cleaning service was top notch (if a bit over zealous in changing towels etc)...
I did not have a perfect stay overall but the service at the hotel was 5 star. I would recommend the hotel almost exclusively for the excellent service I received. The first suite (room 41) we were given was the handicap room above the bar and the recycling area, and near a housekeeping closet. It was an excellent handicap room if you needed it (we did not) but it was very noisy from the bar or the...

Loved the location and staff, lovely people and very helpful. The basic rooms were just that, basic, comfortable but not up to any 4 star rating in my experience. Spent the last two nights of a four night stay in an upgraded room, comfortable and roomy but still a stretch to say four stars. Still, I would recomend this hotel, the location and staff are first rate.
The best location. Out the door and straight into St Remy. Staff are very nice, friendly and efficient. Down side it all looks a little unloved and could really do with a revamp
Great hotel with incredible grounds and onsite parking. Very much enjoyed it
This hotel seemed like it once was a very nice hotel, but it appeared to be either understaffed or not well taken care of. The rooms were nothing special, and there was a lingering smell of sewage in the room, maybe from disuse. I would have rated it lower, but the front staff was so friendly and so very helpful. The location was great with very easy walking to the towns attractions. The breakfast...

We enjoyed our stay. Great location and everything was spotlessly clean. We only stayed for 1 night but we will definately return. Loved the town, restaurants, shops and galleries.
We stayed here to see Van Gogh, and learn as much as we could about him and the place he spent a year in. We found a beautiful town which rises to the occasion, to the incessant drumbeat of tourism. This hotel was just what we wanted in the sense that we were not going to spend alot of time in the room, but rather in the streets of Saint Remy.

The hotel is in a great location to visit St. Remy and a very easy walk to town. The rooms are just rooms with very little to say about them. The patio was quaint and private. Pool was nice and the parking is very good to have if you are with a car. You do not need a car in St. Remy. Brake fast was good and the staff was very nice. The only item was when I asked for a cork screw the owner told...

Great little hotel only a few minutes walk from the heart of St Remy. The room was very clean and a comfy bed. Plenty of parking spaces and a nice pool with sunbeds. Hospitality from the hotel was very good and they were very helpful.
Brilliant. Calm and relaxing. Lovely pool. Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff, especially the breakfast waitress who carefully remembered my weird English tea order. We'll be back. We love it. Short walk to town.
Quaint, clean, comfortable, excellent location, beautiful pool area, excellent host, car parking. Stunning little property.
What a quiet, lovely hotel! The pool was a welcome addition after our day of bike riding ! A short distance from the town center where you will find many retail shops and bistros to eat and drink at. Romaine at the front desk was very helpful in providing a map of the town and making suggestions for things to do. Thank you for a very comfortable stay!

Quite simply one of our best hotel stays. We had 2 rooms, one with twin beds for our twenty something sons and the suite with the balcony for my wife and me. Staff was tremendously helpful. Rooms clean and the beds were unbelieavably comfortable.
This was our 20th visit to Mas des Carassins. That says it all! We go back year after year because of the staff, the setting, the food - dinners in the garden of the hotel are wonderful - and most of all, because this is a place where you can relax, do nothing or do a lot. The number of great tourist attractions within an hour (or less) of St. Remy are numerous. So if sightseeing is your thing, go...
Absolutely loved this hotel. Every aspect was as good or better than the website shows. The staff create a warm, family-like atmosphere where a lot of the guests seemed like regular visitors, often knew one another and were happy to smile and chat. My wife is vegetarian and the chef created a wonderful menu for her on every one of the 7 nights we stayed, even changing the amuse bouche if it contained...
Wonderful hotel, quiet, lovely gardens. Our room was great, bathroom with two basins, comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, very fresh ingredients. We ate dinner twice in the hotel and it was delicious. It was a fixed menu which changed each day. It's around 15-20 minute to walk into St Remy. The parking is secure (gate for both parking and the entrance is locked in the evening, you're given a...
Amazing hotel. Loved every aspect of it. The rooms are big. Rainfall shower head. Comfortable beds. Helpful staff. They have 2 large pools. The grounds have lots of areas to sit and lounge. And the restaurant is absolutely amazing. I ate there all 3 nights I stayed here. Best meal in southern France. Met a couple (Roxanne and Jeremy) who have been coming here 13 years! This is a small hotel very close to the centre of Saint Remy and to the Museum where Van Gogh lived and is now an interesting museum. We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Sophie at the front desk was lovely and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. Super hotel in every way. Very kind and attentive staff, whether at the reception or at breakfast. Spacious bedroom. Near the city center and the archaeological site of Glanum (you can go there on foot). Quiet. We will be back with pleasure!
We have stayed here for several years, often with friends, and it feels as comfortable as home. Rooms are airy, bathrooms are modern, beds are great, the staff is helpful and accommodating, and the center of St.-Rémy is a delightful five-minue walk.

This quiet little hotel is perfectly located for a base to explore Saint Remy de Provance and surrounding villages. The garden and terrace is a perfect place to unwind in the afternoons or have breakfast on. The owners are lovely and speak excellent English, so if your French is a little rusty, you can get by. On the other hand, I agree with the many other comments on the rough cleaning (dust and cobwebs) and the aging aspect of the equipment: saggy sofa seat, broken dining table, uncleaned broom, creaky bed. Some equipment is missing: toaster, cutting board, kitchen utensils, chair (4 for accommodation for 6). Too bad the...
A little DIY to do to achieve a good 3 stars (pierced faucet, lamp that does not work and sliding entrance door that does not close on one side forcing the shutters to be closed ...) The rooms are a bit small, the bedsheets and blankets seem very old. Sadly there were only bathtubs and no showers and you couldn't lock the bathroom. The stay is totally ok if you don't need much and plan on spending your day outside. Each room is in a little "house" and in front of it are tables and chairs where you can have nice evenings under the stars with your friends.
We went here as our school trip and it was fine. The bathrooms are a little small and the shower lacks a curtain, therefore you flood the entire room while showering. And we brought our wii but the tv are a little to small for mariokart multiplayer. And the wifi really sucks.
Very simpel, but nice. No real showers, just some kind of bathtub. Breakfast was good. But not much diversity.

We liked our superior twin room as it was very spacious for 2 travellers. The air conditioning was needed and worked well. The bathroom could’ve done with some renovation but everything was okay. There was no safe. The breakfast was good and we loved the French bread and butter. Location was perfect and everything within walking distance.
Good location with walking distance to Papal palace. The economy room was very basic and tiny. The room was clean and AC worked great. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. The nearest parking was 5 minutes walk away and I don’t not recommend bringing heavy roller suitcases due to the cobble stone streets.
This is a very basic room in an old old building. Very clean, but a fellow traveler thought it was unacceptable (she's really sort of a snob). Rooms are very small but perfectly okay for a place to lay your head after being out and about all day. Very reasonable rates if you're not too fussy. Great location in the center of town!!!

Even though it is very close to the Papal Palace, it is in the old town. The location is very convenient. There are many restaurants nearby, and this town is very distinctive. Breakfast is also provided here, which is convenient for going out. The architecture is also very distinctive
Nice hotel in the heart of Avignon. Small, clean rooms and simple tasty breakfast.
Very well priced hotel in the centre. Very clean. Recommended
Very convenient location , near to Palais Des Papes parking with a 20% discount given . Staff were friendly and helpful .
We stayed for two nights and love everything about this hotel. The super cute room with a comfortable bed, the amazing view out the window and the small but perfect bathroom. Everything clean and new. The staff is so lovely and helpful and they spoke excellent English. Breakfast was plenty and fresh. Can highly recommend!
Very nice place for staying. Location is just near everything 1-5 minutes walk. Rooms were cosy and convenient, clean and quiet large. Our room window was just in front of opera.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Mirande. We received amazing, over the top service. When we could not figure out how to drive the to the hotel, we parked outside the city and ubered in. The next day the valet went and retrieved our car for us and parked it at the hotel. We arrived later in the night a little frustrated and hungry and all the restaurants were closed. The front desk reception...
A Charming Stay at a Truly Historic Gem Hôtel La Mirande is an unforgettable place—steeped in history, elegantly preserved, and full of character. While our room wasn't one of the signature ones with soaring ceilings or a canopy bed, it was still very nice: spacious, well-appointed, and full of thoughtful details that made the stay comfortable and relaxing. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is...
In the middle of the old town, beautiful building right across the street from the Popes Palace. Beautiful very unique room and amazing surface. Extremely difficult to drive to the hotel with all the old town narrow Street €25 for valet parking.
This hotel is very special. The rooms are decorated exquisitely and in keeping with the historical period. However the air conditioning was not working in my room the first two nights and there wasn’t another room available so sleeping was uncomfortable. The third day the electricity went out completely and I was moved to a much smaller room for the final night. Upon checking out no adjustment was...
It was a place with a lot of beauty in every corner, but there were also many regrets. I didn't get the feeling that the staff was that friendly. It was so pretty that it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that I went to see a cat.
Everything was perfect with the exception of the air conditioning which never cooled the room properly n

What a fantastic location. You feel like a local living in the Hotel Mignon. Leo and his wife really care about each customer. They dealt with UPS shipments for us and knew everything there was to know about the city. Rooms were older but very comfortable. Slept great there. Location central to everything. I would recommend this hotel for its authenticity. Excellent.
Leo and his wife were extremely helpful in giving suggestions for restaurants and directions. Our room was very small/tight quarters, but we knew that it would be up front given the historic nature of the building. Nice location central to everything within walking distance.
Great location in the old town. Hospitable hosts. Great value for money.
Located in the historic city center. No elevator, but Leo, the proprietor, was able to give us a room on the second floor (first floor, above ground floor, in French). He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and is trilingual (French, English, Spanish). His wife prepared a tasty breakfast in the charming dining room. They have a refrigerator that guests can use to store small amounts of food....
I had a lovely stay in Hotel Mignon at the end of March 2025. I found that the hotel owners could not have been nicer or more friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean and well decorated. There was a lovely friendly, family style atmosphere which could be difficult to get in a larger, more impersonal hotel. Unfortunately I had an accident on holidays requiring a visit to the accident and emergency...
We booked accommodation at Hotel Mignon for our son to attend Ecole Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq and it was a perfect stay for him. Extremely convenient. The Hotel was extremely helpful pre visit and very accommodating during the visit. The breakfasts were lovely and the room very comfortable. An ideal spot. As parents, we are now looking forward to staying in future at Hotel Mignon and...
