St. Remy-de-Provence, 9 Chemin Canto Cigalo 🧭 Map
I did not have a perfect stay overall but the service at the hotel was 5 star. I would recommend the hotel almost exclusively for the excellent service I received.
The first suite (room 41) we were given was the handicap room above the bar and the recycling area, and near a housekeeping closet. It was an excellent handicap room if you needed it (we did not) but it was very noisy from the bar or the...
Fantastic experience at Valrugues!
We had such a relaxing time and concierge took care of all our needs for our toddler.
Rooms are great and spacious, the outdoor is spectacular and the fine dining restaurant is superb!
5 stars all the way
We will be back
My only concern while staying here was the size of our room. However, the view over the garden from our patio while having lunch in our room is so peaceful. The food was fantastic. Next time, I hope to take advantage of the spa.
My husband and I had a great experience here. From upon arrival, we were helped with our luggage and it was taken to the room. We were given a tour of the hotel and the services. Front desk was always friendly and kind, there was a valet on site that took care of your car. Parking was free. We booked a spa experience as well, a massage and 30 minutes of the private jacuzzi. The massage was excellent...
Very nice staff at the spa that made our 2 hours there and our 25 minutes massage a very relaxing afternoon!

Perfect central location with chargeable parking, hotel facility’s quite small so the bar area was lacking in atmosphere and the restaurant more akin to breakfast. The terrace out the back was really nice but off season was cold so you could only sit in a brightly light side room next to the bar, two double GnT costing £79 euro was a disappointment as was the roof bar being closed all the time. We...
Great location, lovely quiet hotel. 3 star service, felt like guests were an afterthought. Not quite value for money !
We loved our 5 night stay at this beautiful, quaint inn. Great location, friendly staff and wonderful spa!
Sadly this is not a 5 start hotel. It’s beautiful, and a fantastic location but the service and the facilities left us feeling very disappointed. There is also a terrible smell of damp in the spa, games room and gym which are also all very poor quality. Some hotels make you feel welcome and have a wonderful atmosphere this one does not. Sadly won’t be returning although the town itself is wonderful...

Loved the location and staff, lovely people and very helpful. The basic rooms were just that, basic, comfortable but not up to any 4 star rating in my experience. Spent the last two nights of a four night stay in an upgraded room, comfortable and roomy but still a stretch to say four stars. Still, I would recomend this hotel, the location and staff are first rate.
The best location. Out the door and straight into St Remy. Staff are very nice, friendly and efficient. Down side it all looks a little unloved and could really do with a revamp
Great hotel with incredible grounds and onsite parking. Very much enjoyed it
This hotel seemed like it once was a very nice hotel, but it appeared to be either understaffed or not well taken care of. The rooms were nothing special, and there was a lingering smell of sewage in the room, maybe from disuse. I would have rated it lower, but the front staff was so friendly and so very helpful. The location was great with very easy walking to the towns attractions. The breakfast...

What can I say the hotel is excellent, 10 out of 10 - The staff , the standard of accommodation and quality of food is excellent- we stayed for 4 nights and it was the highlight of our 3 week stay in France - the entire staff were brilliant - Vald was amazing and Mathilde in reception was a real pro ! we stayed in Cote Sud - a recently refurbished apartment close to the main house - amazing spec and...
Truly magical. The setting is out of a storybook or out of a Van Gogh painting. Everything the about the place exudes warmth and elegance- and staying here is a truly unforgettable experience. The dining room, the bar, everything about the hotel is first rate. Vlad was a terrific host/ concierge. I have recommended and would continue to recommend this hotel for anyone looking for the best in Saint...
Come for the ambiance. The food was good, and while the manager was extremely rude, the rest of the staff provided lovely service.
We couldn’t recommend Le Château des Alpilles more! Our stay was perfect. While we loved exploring the charming town of St. Rémy, the beauty and tranquility of the château made it hard to leave the grounds. Every part of the grounds feels like something out of a dream, from the tree-lined entry to the elegant interiors in the castle. Make sure to make reservations for dinner - the food was exceptional...
We recently spent two unforgettable nights at La Chateau Des Alpilles in Saint Remy de Provence with friends, and it was nothing short of magical. This beautiful chateau, the only one in Provence still owned by the same family, radiates warmth and charm in every corner. A Dream of a Gem in Provence! Everything, from the beautiful settings to the outstanding local cuisine, gorgeously furnished rooms along with exquisite bed linen, is out of this world. This was really a perfect stay. I arrive a bit early and my room was ready. The staff was kind enough to let me try speaking French, but then they replied to me in perfect English. The room was absolutely lovely with its musical theme. Extremely comfortable bed. I liked how the sink, shower, and toilet were all separate. There were even wash cloths for us Americans that use them. The lobby was adorable...
Very friendly staff. Very welcoming. Comfy super rooms. Brilliant walk 8n showers. Air con. Water and toiletries provided. Lovely central courtyard/ oasis with a cute sized swimming pool and sun loungers.
Lovely boutique hotel with nice accoutrements.
Very helpful staff. Very dark room. I think a room on a higher floor would have changed my rating. I preferred to go out to a local bar for breakfast. Very clean and a central position. Car parking was a bit of a trek!!!
Excelent hotel in downtown Saint Rémy. The hotel seems like a decoration store as everything is of such a good taste that we took some fotos as sample ideas to decorate our home. The room was huge overlooking the garden. The breakfast was delicously hand made by a local Boulanger. Heidi of the front desk was very nice to recommend us places to visit in the area as the tourist office closes early!
Impressive for a 3* hotel, lovely boutique feel & nice pool area. Located in the centre.

Mas Valentine Hôtel
St. Remy-de-Provence, 44 Route de Noves 🧭 Map
Beautiful hotel just a short distance to St Remy. We stayed last year and loved it so much we bought my brother and sister in law. Rooms are lovely and staff fabulous. Pool and parking on site a real bonus. We bought cheese and baguettes and wine of course and sat under the trees and enjoyed our dinner.
A beautiful setting and stunning building were complimented by the staff, namely Domitille, Marie Anne, Marine, Lisa and Olivia were all wonderful. Thank you 🥰.
We had a nice stay in this lovely small hotel which was made more pleasant by Marianne who welcomed us and checked us in. Rooms are clean and well appointed with everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel and more. The breakfast which was included was a full hot and cold buffet with everything for everyone. Highly recommended.
We were a group of 12 golden age friends. This 4* star hotel has no lift and upon arrival there was no one to help us with the luggage. The air condition in the rooms had been disconnected and upon opening a window we had an attack of mosquitoes in the rooms. Following our request, the management did agree to connect the system but disconnected it again on our last night. During the day there...
We were lucky enough to stay at the lovely Mas Valentine to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. The rooms were immaculate, large and welcoming. Deep baths, powerful showers and comfortable beds. The staff were truly exceptional, they coped with my endless changes of dates and requests to accommodate 17 of us in 9 rooms. They were so helpful and truly went "the extra mile" every day of our stay...
A very comfortable hotel with excellent staff in a very beautiful area, you will need a car and there is no restaurant for evening meals but St Remy has a large selection of very good Bistros. Breakfast in the hotel is first class.

We enjoyed our stay. Great location and everything was spotlessly clean. We only stayed for 1 night but we will definately return. Loved the town, restaurants, shops and galleries.
We stayed here to see Van Gogh, and learn as much as we could about him and the place he spent a year in. We found a beautiful town which rises to the occasion, to the incessant drumbeat of tourism. This hotel was just what we wanted in the sense that we were not going to spend alot of time in the room, but rather in the streets of Saint Remy.

Lovely and quiet hotel 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. The pool area was relaxing and had enough space for all guests. The rooms were comfortable and each had a little outdoor courtyard. Only negative is that it is quite expensive for a 3* accommodation
A beautiful Hotel with lovely spacious rooms, comfortable beds and a fabulous shower. Beautiful pool amenities and a lovely dining room with a delicious buffet breakfast each morning. Staff are lovely and cleaning staff especially do a great job! We stayed a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was so quiet at night and the block out curtains were fantastic. We spent two nights here in Saint Remy de Provence. We arrived early and were kindly welcomed to check in. The hotel staff is pleasant and the rooms were comfortable, if a bit worn. We loved our stay at Les Figuiers! Wish we were there longer
Loved sitting on the front porch in the comfy papasan chairs!
This quiet little hotel is perfectly located for a base to explore Saint Remy de Provance and surrounding villages. The garden and terrace is a perfect place to unwind in the afternoons or have breakfast on. The owners are lovely and speak excellent English, so if your French is a little rusty, you can get by. The Chateau is really stunning. The rooms, the park and the atmosphere are to die for, but it wouldn’t be what it is today without this amazing team that does the most excellent job. Thank you from the heart Sophie, Sabine, Paul, Ricardo and all the others for your amazing commitment. Paul
Such a beautiful location surrounded by wondrous trees. The chateau is delightful having not been tarted up as sadly is happening all over France.
The food was very good indeed. We only went for dinner so cannot comment on the rooms.
A really beautiful place in a wondrous setting. My partner and I spent a very happy evening on the terrace and the food was excellent.
Booked for 3 nights and then added a night in because we felt so relaxed and taken care if. We will return. Lobe it. Will bring back friends.
It's a very nice place! One of the greatest impressions during my trip! Lovely house, garden, room, the nice restourant, friendly staff. I admire historical details of interior. We had a rattling time. Thank you for all!
Nice place relative to hotels in town of St Remy. Large clean rooms and bathroom. The tub is on the high side for seniors like me to get into. Would not recommend having breakfast or dinner here . Restaurant staff especially were not that helpful considering the charge for the breakfast! But on the whole a lovely place to stay !

Nice place, but too chic for me. Not the best vibe, people were a little stuck up. I like more basic places.
The hotel is in a great location to visit St. Remy and a very easy walk to town. The rooms are just rooms with very little to say about them. The patio was quaint and private.
