Fantastic experience at Valrugues! We had such a relaxing time and concierge took care of all our needs for our toddler. Rooms are great and spacious, the outdoor is spectacular and the fine dining restaurant is superb! 5 stars all the way We will be back

My only concern while staying here was the size of our room. However, the view over the garden from our patio while having lunch in our room is so peaceful. The food was fantastic. Next time, I hope to take advantage of the spa.

My husband and I had a great experience here. From upon arrival, we were helped with our luggage and it was taken to the room. We were given a tour of the hotel and the services. Loved the location and staff, lovely people and very helpful. The basic rooms were just that, basic, comfortable but not up to any 4 star rating in my experience. Spent the last two nights of a four night stay in an upgraded room, comfortable and roomy but still a stretch to say four stars. This is a very comfortable hotel on a main street in St. Remy de Provence ,easily accessible, with many onsite amenities but also right across the street from great restaurants and shops . Excellent walking in the area. We had a spacious room that felt more like a small apartment. Very quiet. Helpful staff. Great breakfast in the morning, bar services in the evening. Amazing location, very friendly staff, beautiful grounds. The rooms are quote small and outdated, but that wouldn't have been an problem if it weren't for the maintenance issues. Seems like there are some management issues here and it's unfortunate because it is a lovely place with charming people.

A very nice hotel in the center of St Rémy with tourist sights and restaurants within walking distance. The large garden behind the hotel are well maintained and has a English garden style maze/labyrinth. A very positive experience. If you are there on a Wednesday walk to the awesome farmer’s market.

Such a beautiful location surrounded by wondrous trees. The chateau is delightful having not been tarted up as sadly is happening all over France. The food was very good indeed. We only went for dinner so cannot comment on the rooms.

Nice place relative to hotels in town of St Remy. Large clean rooms and bathroom. The tub is on the high side for seniors like me to get into. Would not recommend having breakfast or dinner here . Restaurant staff especially were not that helpful considering the charge for the breakfast! But on the whole a lovely place to stay !

A beautiful French country side Chateau. So peaceful and quiet. The grounds surrounding the Chateau are definitely the highlight of our stay. If you need a break from your busy travels this is a great retreat.

We stayed here to see Van Gogh, and learn as much as we could about him and the place he spent a year in. We found a beautiful town which rises to the occasion, to the incessant drumbeat of tourism. This hotel was just what we wanted in the sense that we were not going to spend alot of time in the room, but rather in the streets of Saint Remy.

Everything was so perfect for us. We booked this place for a romantic weekend away. The staff upgraded our room and it was so lovely. The choice of menu in the restaurant however was very small.

Just the most extraordinary stay ever. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. We came for our honey moon and the owner ulgraded us on the spot to a senior suite. We stayed 4 days. We also had our new year eve dinner there and all was perfect. Highly recommend!

We have stayed here for several years, often with friends, and it feels as comfortable as home. Rooms are airy, bathrooms are modern, beds are great, the staff is helpful and accommodating, and the center of St.-Rémy is a delightful five-minue walk.

We would highly recommend this hotel. The proprietors and staff were friendly and attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonder visit to the area. The rooms are modern, clean and well appointed. There is a delightful pool and garden in the back where you can enjoy a glass of wine. Excellent in every possible regard. The room was super clean and comfortable and the decor fantastic. All the common areas of the hotel are also very beautiful, including the garden and pool (which sadly we did not use because it was too cold in January). It is an old hotel with Zen / Oriental atmosphere. The physical key is still used for the door lock. It has free parking. The staff speak perfect English and is friendly. Breakfast with 15 euro which is decent. The only downfall for me is the bedsheet and blanket. I don't like wool texture. It would hard to make it clean. I cannot adjust the temperature of the heater in my room
