The hotel is located on a hillside in the center of the city, close to the central square and harbour with toooo expencive yachts. Hotel style - something between a Greek, Santorinian houses or Sardinian. The hotel is small but cozy. A small green territory and pool. There is a SPA. The rooms are medium in size and tastefully decorated and bright. Pleasantly surprised cosmetics in the bathroom - separate for men and women. Minibar - at exorbitant prices. Like the both things in Saint-Tropez in principle. Despite the central location, this place is quiet. Breakfasts like all LHW, especially tasty pastries. Croissants with almonds - a special treat! ) Pleasantly surprised by the price of the "Riva" restaurant , by the way Gordon Ramsay's. The prices are almost the same as in the usual pizzeria St Tropez. Very good cuisine. Also surprised by the prices of wines and champagnes (could not resist and took a picture.) There is also a very good club here. All in all a very decent hotel, but the service could be better. The hotel has a Russianspeaking girl, which is nice. Except her all the others simply ignored our requests. Although the English we know not so bad. Later we found the best hotel in St. Tropez in our opinion about what I will write later in a separate review. But in any case, 5 * Byblos deservedly received, I recommend.

The Byblos is the nicest hotel in Saint-Tropez. I enjoyed staying there during Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez. The rooms are big and people are very nice and efficient. And the breakfast is amazing.

I stayed at Hotel Byblos in Saint-Tropez for two nights in a suite with a pool view. I arrived around 6 pm on September 12th and checked out on the 14th. Unfortunately, on the 13th it rained heavily all day, so I could not even enjoy the beach, which was one of the main reasons for my visit. The real disappointment was the hotel’s approach to check-in and check-out times. Byblos is the only so-called luxury hotel I have ever visited where check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am, even though breakfast runs until 11. In virtually every other luxury property I have stayed at, the standard is 3 pm check-in and 12 noon check-out, and late check-out of 30 minutes or even an hour is granted without any problem — even when the next guest is arriving the same day. That is simply considered normal courtesy. At Byblos, where check-in does not even start until 4 pm, refusing such a basic request is even weaker. It clearly shows the hotel’s bad will and poor management. When I asked about a late check-out, one receptionist told me that noon would be possible, but anything later would require the manager’s approval. The next day, when I asked another receptionist, she had no idea I had already been given noon and told me the maximum was 11:30. Later she came back and said she had spoken to the manager, and they would “allow” noon. This chaos and inconsistency make it clear that decisions were being made arbitrarily, not according to any real policy. Many of my friends had stayed at Byblos in previous years and never encountered such issues, but I have since learned that the hotel recently changed management — which might explain why things that were once simple are now unnecessarily complicated. The atmosphere at Byblos also felt artificial rather than genuinely welcoming. Apart from a few senior concierges who clearly know their job and deliver professional service, the rest of the team seemed average at best. I even witnessed a receptionist roll her eyes while a guest was simply checking his bill at check-out. This kind of behavior does not reflect the professionalism of a true luxury property. Ironically, after leaving Byblos I checked into the Carlton in Cannes, where—without even asking—I was warmly offered a 2 pm check-out. That is the standard of service and flexibility expected from a hotel in this category. Despite its reputation, Byblos did not meet luxury standards, and for me, this experience deserves only one star. The only true positives I can mention are that IQOS smoking is allowed everywhere — at breakfast, at dinner, indoors and outdoors — and the restaurant service staff were genuinely friendly. Pleasant, yes, but certainly not enough to justify a two-star rating.

Lovely hotel, impeccable service, multiple visits here year after year. Only writing a review here because room 234 with the garbage loading dock view and early morning load after load of breaking glass and garbage truck wake up call shouldn't be sold as a €2,500/night suite.

The Byblos Hotel far exceeded my expectations. The website does not do it justice. Let’s start with the location - as close as you can get to the town for a 5 star. The rooms were well appointed and adorned with welcome gifts, treats and a treat nightly. The pool is lovely (unheated tho) and the lounge chairs are so comfortable and makes a great place to relax and chill. At night, the hotel turns into an amazing lounge and below is one of Saint Tropez’s premier nightclubs. And saving the best for last - the service is EXCEPTIONAL. If you need something in your room it will be there within minutes. The concierge staff are all excellent offering accurate and good advice which helped for our fantastic experience in beautiful Saint Tropez.

Very beautiful resort in the centre town. The pool is small but ... deep :)). Service at the hotel is the best in france, staff are very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is also small but in high quality. I love so much the special croissant.

This was my 2nd consecutive visit to byblos they have the worst front desk team I was there for one week in duplex suite during checkout day I was 20min late they entered my room(do not disturb sign was put on room) as all my luggage and locker was open they came took out my adapter left my phone uncharged and put the adaptor in mini bar cabinet and locked it, Despite having booked my car from hotel to cannes. Extremely in welcoming front desk team. They give treatment like a motel never going back to byblos

I loved every inch of this hotel. First of all, the staff are super friendly and helpful. The décor throughout the hotel is beautifully done, creating a warm and happy atmosphere. Our room was lovely, with impressive attention to detail. The only downside was the gym—it was very small and lacked basic equipment like a bench or exercise ball. Despite this, I would definitely come back to this hotel. We left very happy and satisfied.⬤

Highly recommended! The location is very good. There is a Maritime Museum on the opposite hillside. Turn left and you will reach the central city.
Each room has a different Mediterranean style.
The breakfast and service are also very good.
A very pleasant vacation.
I will definitely come again next time.
