Kube Saint-Tropez Hotel

We stayed at Kube Hotel Saint-Tropez on May 30, 2025, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. While the hotel advertises itself as a five-star property, what we encountered was far from the level of quality, cleanliness, and service one would expect.

Shortly after check-in, we found multiple issues across all three rooms we had booked. There were unsanitary conditions throughout the hotel, including condoms in the hallway, dirty floors, broken furniture, and overall poor maintenance in the rooms themselves. These were not isolated incidents, but consistent across the accommodations we were provided.

We immediately requested alternative rooms due to the condition of the ones we received, but were told that no other rooms were available. Left with no viable option, we gathered our belongings, returned the keys, and left the hotel by approximately 8:00 PM - just a few hours after checking in. We also informed staff that we would not be returning.

Despite having documented the conditions through photos and videos, only one of the three rooms has been refunded to date. We have continued to request a fair and full refund for the remaining two rooms, but have yet to receive resolution from management.

It’s deeply disappointing to have an experience like this at a property marketed as luxury. I sincerely hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

I stayed at the Kube Hotel in Sept this year.

I treated myself to two massages, the first one was great, the second however unfortunately, the therapist did the massage incorrectly and wiped oil directly over my eyelids at the end of the massage.

I left the room and washed my eyes, within an hour my eyes were burning, but I had a gala that I had to attend - however I had to leave early and come back to rinse my eyes throughout the evening. I went to reception in early morning for medical assistance the receptionist gave me an eye wash, I went to the pharmacy and got some antihistamines for a further 30 euros.

Reception and the hotel manager was made aware of the issue at the time amd i have been chasing the hotel for 2 weeks. it's really telling how they have responded below. The abuse they give to customers when things just simply go wrong is shameful. The photos are taken within 12hours of reaction, and the receipt for the medication is that morning, i can happily share all emails in this review as ive only ever asked for a refund to solve the issue.

The Kube Hotel - doesn't show any concern or care when things go wrong.

I have no issue with a company making a mistake, but to treat anyone like this over a mistake the therapist made, is so alarming. Publicly as well, it's not okay to threaten people just because you don't like the truth.

I spoke to the hotel manager before i left the hotel, which was the very next morning after i had the 2nd massage, about the issue and I was promised to be contacted within 24hours.

I wasn't contacted, I have chased for a refund and an apology over 4 times.

I have received contradictory emails from multiple people within the hotel blaming me for the allergic reaction, whilst also saying that their therapist would never rub oil over my eyes, so subtly calling me a liar.

They have offered me to come back to the hotel for a massage, but as I live in Cornwall this isn't a meaningful solution.

I have requested a refund, but have been told as I mentioned that its my fault for the allergic reaction, whilst saying that they avoid sensitive areas which they do not.

I'm a firm believer that sometimes things go wrong, its how you deal with it that makes up the character or a person or business and this has been an extremely disappointing response from them.

This ruined my last night in St Tropez, my last morning in St Tropez, and their response has made it clear I'm not ever going back to the Kube Hotel in St Tropez.

Caution for the reader!

Beware of this hotel! My pregnant wife and I tried to cancel our reservation, but we were met with extreme resistance. The manager was unbelievably aggressive and dismissive, showing zero empathy for our situation. The hotel is also misleading in its advertising—the pictures online are nothing like reality. Plus, it’s located way too far from the center, making it a hassle to get anywhere. If you want a stress-free and honest hotel experience, look elsewhere.

Very bad experience.
The rooms are so different than the pictures and not clean at all.
I found hair on the floor and on the pillows before even used the room.
I asked the front desk to cancel my booking after less than one hour because of that and because of their very bad service and how they treated me and my husband and friends.
We came from US all the way to here and no of us was satisfied!
They manager is not in the hotel and the only lady that helped us is new and didn’t know what to do.
She told me that my reasons of cancellation is not good enough and if somebody would die it could be a better reason.
She called her manager through WhatsApp (which I don’t even think is a manager), she was very rude to us on the phone and stopped up from talking .
She said she doesn’t think it’s a really good reason unless somebody from the workers team did something to us.
The front desk lady went with her phone to the back and talking with the manager and laughed so hard like it is a joke.
I find this hotel as very low grade and non professional at all!
I wish the owner of this hotel will see my review and respond to me because im sure he would be very disappointed to hear that he has this kind of workers and management.
There are other private details that I don’t want to provide about the situation to not hurt the team but I will be providing them to whoever is going to contact me.
