You don’t want to stay here unless you have to. Very friendly service during Dour Festival: the cleaning ladies served us breakfast after the official hours. It’s in the middle of nowhere.

booked a room last minute, we didn't have high expectations but the room was great for a short stay! beds slept well and fairly modern room! the only thing was that the mirror at the door was dirty but otherwise a good room!

I really liked this hotel, which has a cosy American motel style atmosphere. I took a spontaneous stopover there in a very stormy night. Reception was friendly. The room was clean, warm, quiet and functional. It was fine to have a bathtub (although I would recommend applying a hook or string to the plug, this would make it easier to remove it after bathing). I didn't take breakfast, but it was nice...

Well for that rate it's fine. Just regarding TV-channels there are only French. None in English none in German

Small but comfortable location, very recommended for the nearby industrial complex. The food is good but far from excellent and the choices aren't many... The staff is friendly and helpful!

Stayed here a few times. The bar is surprisingly cheap compared to most of the places . The rooms have everything you would expect accept the plug sockets are a long way from the bed. The staff were all very friendly.

Really nice hotel and good value for money. Staff are really kind, frienfly and helpfull. Big closed car park available. It is also possible to park in the street.

The location is superb, it's not that far from Lafayette, close to the metro, and you can go to the moulin rouge show very late coz it is a walking distance

Fine hotel where we arrived in the middle of the night because there was not a single room available anymore in Lille. Just fine, nice breakfast, decent room and friendly staff, but eventhough the bathroom was renewed, it’s all a bit outdated. If I was the one giving stars to hotels I’d give this one a solid set of three stars, so just fine for a night sleep and a good breakfast

Very good service and food. Large rooms. Ideal for 1 night stop en route to Paris/South or Up North and onwards to Belgium.

A good hotel opposite the rail ? station ? and within easy walking distance of the town centre. Rooms not much to report home about but they are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is OK ? and dinner is very good. Good and free WiFi

Good value for a central location. 1 minute walk across the road to the train station but no noise in the room. Fab restaurant attached. 3* rooms but 5* location.

Quality welcome and environment. Modern room, very clean and spacious. View on inner courtyard with small parking accessible for 5 €. Breakfast is included in the price of the room. Sweet and savory buffet well presented and well stocked :) We will be back with pleasure!

Beautiful renovation in the heart of Valenciennes. High quality hotel in every aspect. The standard rooms are very modest in size but are okay. Breakfast was good although the small food area got very busy at peak time. The downstairs spa and pool is also stunning.

It was a great stay and the property is obviously beautiful. My only issue is I wish they had informed us that we would be getting an accessible room before assigning it to us. It’s not a major issue, but it’s just better etiquette to be informed in advance. We did not want to be a hassle so did not bother making a big deal out of it.

The hotel rooms are nice - the spa is nice too. The pool area is beautiful architecture wise … However the water is a bit cold. We had a massage (duo) and it was very relaxing. The sauna is ok too. The steam sauna needed more steam. In general the experience is good - the place is amazing in beauty. What needs to be improved is the food! We have been here four times and the lounge food could be better...

Second time in this castle. A beautiful hotel. When booking, all wishes were taken into account. We added room decoration, as discussed. The two-level suites are very impressive in their beauty. This place is super awesome I loved how they put a teddy bear that you can hug if you are stressed. It is a great working inviorment. My favorite thing is the wonder woman and batman bathroom.😀

Very old novotel and it shows badly. Rooms poor quality. They charge £16 for breakfast ham bread coffee outrageous but it's not the staffs fault head office set breakfast price.

Room comfortable and clean. Restaurant was expensive, I was in a large group of 20 and there was no incentive to eat in the hotel. We found a nice hotel restaurant very close , hotel Balladins. The food here was very good and well priced.

Had a fantastic experience at the Mercure on a work trip. We unfortunately had a very late check-in compared to our initial arrival hour yet were warmly welcomed at the hotel.
