Hotel ibis Vannes in Vannes

Except for the lady who checked me in with a geniun smile, the rest of the team made me feel not welcommed. Not a friendly Manager that refuses to mention her name, she imposes attitude of fear to her employees as well to be like her. Not even a smile. One of her other staff started shouting at me in French when I attempted to use the coffee maker and she became angrier, mean with disdaining looks because I can't speak French maybe. She refused to let me use the coffee machine with an arrogant attitude as if I am not a guest to the hotel. They claimed that you can't use the coffee machine unless it is breakfast time, which if true it would be a very silly and cheap policy that doesnot make any sense in the world of showing hospitality. To get coffee in a non breakfast hour you have to pay for it. I paid high rate for a room of a hotel to be treated arrogently. So arrogant attitude as if you are "Not" paying for your stay. Except for the check-in receptionist, the other two ladies made me feel as if they making me a favour to smile at you maybe because I don't speak French, I don't know. I am glad this is not my first experience in a French hotel or French people. I would never think of staying in this hotel again unless if I have to, which is why I chose not to cancel my stay. Nice rooms and well mantained to be fair. But no matter how fancy or new the building, the welcoming service should always be the focus of hotel service.
