Where to stay with pets in Almirida

Right next to the beach and such an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. Cleanliness is a very important thing for me and they met and exceeded all my expectations, thoroughly cleaning everyday

There's nothing I would change about our stay at Almyrida Residence. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the town. Our room was spotless, comfortable and modern

Food was fantastic and they had a variety of different foods giving us a taste of the Greek cuisine and foods available for all pallets, there is something for everyone! We will definitely be returning, as someone who has stayed in a fair amount of hotels this is by far one the best experiences

Staff is beyond friendly and extremely helpful and made us feel welcome and eager to visit again

There are also options like pancakes, waffles, and omelets made to order, which is a nice touch, but overall, the quality could be better

Additionally, the safe in my room wasn’t working, which was a bit inconvenient. The breakfast buffet was mediocre at best

However you are less than a minute away from the strip to get to the beach, shops and restaurants. The nearest supermarket is also just a 3 minute walk away. The cute little house was cozy and well decorated

As nobody rented the main house during our stay he said it was fine to use the clothesline and main patio. We really enjoyed our morning coffee on the little terrace outside the door and overall feel of the property

We stayed at the little windmill roundhouse and it was fantastic. It was exactly what we hoped for. You get the full Cretan vibe with the blue and white building with a garden in midst of an olive grove

Katerina is a great host who goes above and beyond from little touches like a house phone with recommended restaurants on speed dial to the daily bakery driver visiting the villa with fresh bread and Greek delicacies

We stayed during the shoulder season right before most places opened up for summer, so the town was quiet and not busy. SK Place was one of few resorts on the island open and we were so happy with our choice

Kitchen-living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Veranda overlooking the sea, a small patio with sun loungers and an umbrella. Air conditioners in every bedroom. The kitchen has enough utensils for a large company

There are 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds (hard mattress, this was very important to us). You can hear the waves if you sleep with the window open. There is a nice little beach with pebbles close to the villa

Very cozy house, two rooms with air conditioning, living room, and spacious and well-kept outdoor areas. Very good sea views allow you to relax having breakfast or a drink

Top notch, modern, spacious villa with a great outdoor space and scenic views from the balconies. Just a 10 minute walk to Kalyves beech. Minor point, it's located on a main road so the traffic can be a little noisy

Really nice place, enough space for 4 people and the house ist really good equipped! Only a short 10 minutes walk to the beach and some good restaurants. Nice view and very clean. I would book it again!

The villa’s position is very good for visiting any place on western Crete, but also make sure you do not miss the beach just 700 meters down a dirt-road from Villa Yianna!

An excellent place! Lovely garden around the pool, smartly furnished and very well-equipped interior. The landlords are really helpful

The owner Maria met us at the property and she had even prepared us some food on a late arrival which was most welcome! Also her husband Georgos helped us with the luggage which was very helpful.

We had nice large apartment with sea view. Our apartment and all hotel facilities were very clean. Hotel is just few meters from the nice sandy beach. Owner is very nice person and very helpful :) we had a great stay!

Kalyves is not a place overflowing with tourists, but rather a location recommended for quiet and peaceful relaxation. Within half an hour by car, you can reach many wonderful sights

The check-in process was smooth and quick, and the room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable They have different shows every night,kids entertainment and they have 2 swimming pools and a very clean beach with breathtaking scenery 😍

If you choose all inclusive package, choose ultra all inclusive, much better beverages! The food was very very tasty, every day! The sunrise is amazing! The service was very friendly

The wine list (extra cost) is a great choice for wine lovers, with a very very good price list. The rooms are small, however clean and with confortable beds

The property is located in a quiet laneway (which we liked) so there were no late night bars or restaurants to disturb a peaceful nights sleep in the comfortable beds ! Even so, Kalyves is not a big town so you will be close to the beach and local restaurants

All rooms were spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well stocked with sufficient basic condiments etc. Nikos offered us a welcome Raki and had provided some local cakes too, very nice

The very friendly owners, Nikos and Maria, and their son George met us at our agreed arrival time at the property and showed us all the features of this lovely 2 bedroom maisonette

It is beautifully decorated, fully equipped with every amenity, and very modern and comfortable, having been reconstructed 4 years ago

There is a supply of guide books available and a very good information book on local amenities that was very helpful

The house was beautifully located within the farm garden of the hosts with olive trees and herbs. Quite and relaxing atmosphere

Very good advice by the landlady for touristic activities, a charming village not destroyed by too much tourism, and an overwhelming hospitality of the host were highlights of our stay

Several beautiful beaches are nearby (less than 10 km). An excellent place to stay in Crete and to enjoy your holidays

The most amazing resort ever! So many pools all indoors and outdoors ! All clean! Sunbeds along beach and bars are always welcoming! The rooms are very modern and clean! The staff is so friendly! You will find new food items in buffet every day ! Never gets repetitive and it’s very very tasty! We travel 7-10 times a year, and have been all over world ! This place is something magical

Or you can use the numerous pools including a great indoor pool which is next to a very decent gym. And there’s a paddle court and tennis court too as well as group activities like beach volleyball

The food and drinks were superb - something for everyone and plentiful even when we made it late for breakfast or dinner. The setting and the facilities are excellent

So if you want to be active you can or you can just completely relax in a lovely setting. We’ll be back next year! thank you for such a brilliant holiday

The hotel is right by the sea which is perfectly safe for bigger kids - young ones you would need to watch out for as it gets deep fairly quickly

Our room was fabulous- very spacious, great bathroom and the beds were large and very comfortable. The hotel staff couldn’t have been nicer

The location was perfect - a short walk to the centre if Vamos- beautiful village. The apartment was spotless, well appointed and the very good quality linen and towels changed regularly

Good breakfast and it is possible to order other meals from a limited menu of meals. Nice bar in the pool area which was open to late in the night. Other tavernas reached by a 10 minutes walk

- you will need definitely a car if you want to move around to the county of Chania and popular beaches ⛱️ - the rooms are clean and spacious but simple-not something fancy

Nice place in the mountains with a very service minded staff. The rooms with AC (extra price) are clean and we had a nice view över the bay

-Home made traditional dishes available for lunch or dinner (no big variety though) -There is a mini market and 2 good tavernas closeby

Lovely Host will look after you to meet all your needs. 5' (by car) to nearest village and beach. Bit further down east warm sea with plenty of beaches to explore. Rethymno within 20' relaxing drive
