Georgioupolis Beach Hotel

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The location is excellent, being very close to the beach and shops. The food was nice with generous portions. The owner, Antonio, is very friendly and welcoming.

One member of staff reprimanded me and other guests for drinking our own beverages by the pool, including water. She claimed that if caught, she would face a €1,000 fine, and in one case, a €5,000 fine. This was confusing, as the hotel does not provide free water and charges €3 per bottle. It's impractical and costly to constantly purchase water from the hotel when it’s much cheaper at nearby shops. Please be aware that if you stay here, you will not be able to drink your own water outside your room and will have to pay for water by the bottle, or you will be told off by a member of staff. Despite this issue, I still had a great stay.

Ultimate Chill Out, we have just returned from our second stay at this hotel, we were in room 203, which overlooks the pool and sea, a fantastic view to wake upto in the morning, Antonio and his staff as usual were fantastic, the flexibility of the half board makes this a stress free alternative to the big AI hotels, you never feel rushed into being anywhere at any time, the room is perfect for what you need, always cleaned daily, with fresh towels, the hot tubs are still a nice touch, we used them after either being around the pool or on the beach, the rooftop restaurant is a great place to unwind and eat, with amazing views over the bay, the food and particularly the Greek choices are good, the location is just perfect, the beach is literally 30 seconds walk from the hotel, with a lovely soft sandy beach and shallow calm waters, breakfast is officially at 8am, I'm an early riser but found there was always coffee and a pastry to be had well before this time, Georgioupoli is a small vibrant fishing village that has just the right balance for any holiday maker looking for a relaxing break, Well done to the GB hotel team and Antonio for maintaining their high standards for another year, hope to either return later in the year or next year, it was also nice to meet some of Antonios extended family during our stay, we felt very welcomed by their friendliness, see you soon.

Absolutely a wonderful place to stay! Close to the beach and restraunts.

The hotel is lovely, it's clean and has lots of amenities.

We enjoyed tasty freshly cooked lunches with a beautiful view.

Antonio was brilliant! We arrived after midnight, but even at that time he made sure we had something to eat and drink. He always had a ravishing smile and nothing was too much trouble!

Only been here a short time and wondered if the hotel could live up to it's great reviews. So far so good. Antonia was really helpful on arrival seeing we are in the senior citizen category but hate to admit it. He upgraded us to a downstairs room which we really appreciate. The food is great and the ice cream is special All the staff are friendly. We are looking forward to the rest of our stay.

Just spent one week at this hotel . A lovely friendly hotel very helpful staff, room was lovely and cleaned daily . The rooftop restaurant served very tasty food with many options. The pool was heated , and a 2 minute walk to the beach and local shops and bars . Would definitely stay there again . Rob

Visited the roof top bar and really loved the view, the service was great and definitely a must if you in the area to stop and have a lovely cocktail.

Hotel staff very efficient and friendly from the momentwe arrived until we left - nothing was too much for them.
The rooms are clean and comfortable beds. The hot tubs and gymn area were fantastic as easy to access as they were on the roof top terrace with amazing views looking on to the beach.
The breakfast, ,was delightful as it was food of plenty - great coffee machines. The best bit was eating on the outside tables, made it such a joy ,with sun shinning.
Rooftop restaurant also had great views, deliscious food, and good service.
Lovely location .. plenty of fruit trees and fab beaches.
We would deffinately return.

Writting this review as im sat on my balcony. Staff are 10/10 they honestly could not do enough for you. Cleanliness 10/10. Literally meters from the beach and strip of restraunts. Rooms are clean and ok sized. Smart tv so you can just log in to your netflix disney+ etc to keep the kids happy. Overall lovely feel about the place. On day 2. Never been here before, but i'd definitely come back.

Hotel GB on Crete is incredibly close to the beach. The staff was friendly, service was fast, and the services reliable. I warmly recommend this cozy hotel, as well as the newly opened Cosmetics. Its young owner Kleiw was fast, kind, and the manicure she did lasted very long! :-)
