Reviews
Seeing other reviews... Yes, it's on a steep hill, that is quite hard work, but if you ask there's usually a car available to take you up to your room or down to the main road.
There are some wasps, but I didn't think it was any worse than anywhere else really...
It's not a super polished hotel.. it's a little bit rustic, but actually quite stylish as well, the rustic nature wasn't a problem, and in my view add charm..
We had a basic room, it had an amazing view, although you can't actually see the beach, but the beach isn't the best thing you need to see... So not a problem... The room was clean, and did everything it needed to.. bathroom was a little small, but big enough...
I would happily visit again, thoroughly enjoyed it.. As long as you don't need absolute perfection at every turn, and everything to be just like at home I'd recommend this hotel definitely.
If you like everything absolutely perfect, and like home, you're going to need a much more expensive hotel... Or stay home...

Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. The quality was disappointingly low, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the pool bar was overpriced, and despite spending over hundreds of euros there, the bartender refused to give me a cup with ice cubes to drink the sprite I got in my backpack. This level of service was quite frustrating.
If the hotel could address these issues, it would greatly enhance the guest experience.
Some reviewers have commented on the fact the hotel stretches up the hillside, and it is quite a hike from the main building to the accommodation areas, but there is a shuttle bus if you really need it, and to be honest, getting a few extra steps in on holiday is probably no bad thing. The layout may not be suitable for some with additional accessibility needs, but for most, it is a compromise that is more than worth it.
Barbati itself is lovely. Quiet, but not too quiet, and definitely far more relaxing than some of the more mainstream resorts like Ipsos and Sidari. It's only 40 minutes from the airport too.
The rooms at Hotel Pantokrator are not only beautiful but also impeccably clean, providing a serene and comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the island. Waking up to the stunning views of the sea and Mount Pantokrator from our room was a highlight of our stay, truly breathtaking.
The staff at Hotel Pantokrator are the epitome of hospitality, always going above and beyond to ensure that guests feel welcome and well taken care of. From the friendly front desk team to the attentive waitstaff in the restaurant, every interaction was met with a genuine smile and a willingness to assist.
Speaking of the restaurant, the food at Hotel Pantokrator is simply divine. Each meal was a culinary delight, showcasing the flavors of Corfu with a modern twist. Whether enjoying breakfast overlooking the sea or indulging in a romantic dinner under the stars, every dish was expertly prepared and served with flair.
One standout moment was upon check-in, where a courteous driver whisked us away to our room and graciously assisted with our luggage, setting the tone for the level of service we would receive throughout our stay.
Overall, Hotel Pantokrator exceeded all expectations and deserves every bit of its five-star rating. For anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable getaway on Corfu Island, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Pantokrator.
After I complain about the view and my room, they gave me another room with a broken shower and stinky toilet(room 101). 💆🏼♂️They also told me they are fully booked out so nothing is helping me to get what I paid for.
Things can go wrong. I understand but this place failed at hospitality. Poor receptionist women had also a tough time helping me out but the management of this hotel is ridiculous.
Honestly, the wifi is so bad that I quit using it after a few tries. Their routers are having IP conflicts. 🤷🏾♂️

The staff were wonderful in assisting in rebooking my trip and my stay was one of the best I have had.
The view is spectacular and the room is clean and comfortable.
The buffet breakfast and pool were highlights.
Despite being a bit far from Corfu town there are many restaurants and cafes closeby and enough to keep you entertained for a week or so.I would definitely return again and highly recommend it.
