The restaurant and bar staff are lovely but that still does not make up for the state of the room. The pictures of the Superior Room on the hotel website are misleading. The pictures attached show the grim reality of their Superior Rooms. I spoke to the front desk who told me that "yes, your room is superior but all rooms are different" Luckily we were just staying for 2 nights. Add to this: • no hot water on both days (front desk said the water situation impacted everyone as if she thought that made us feel better • tiny bathroom • no sound proofing in the room. It's possible to hear everything in the adjoining room • clothes storage that was just an open shelf unit • no extra bed (we didn’t need one but the website said it had one” • standard domestic fridge in the room that made a racket • no tea / coffee making facilities (well, unless you consider three packets of Green Tea (nothing else) to nail that feature) The room was tired. The one piece of furniture was cracked and splitting where the cheap MDF material had got damp. We strongly believe it is the worst hotel bedroom we have ever experienced. But as I said at the start. The restaurant team and bar team were delightful.

Had a lovely weeks holiday with my husband in September 2024. The weather was a mix bag.
The staff are lovely and friendly, our room was clean we had a beautiful view of the sea and mountains.
We found the hotel quiet and not much to do surrounding us.
The beach is pebbled,shoes required.
My fault with the hotel was people smoking whilst we are eating our meals.
Ashtrays need to be removed.
Don't underestimate the steep hill to your hotel. oxygen tank may be required, and it's steep 😀🤣
I felt they didn't really cater for people with Ceoliac disease or have lactose free milk, and neither did the small supermarket next door.
We enjoyed our break, but Barbati was too quiet for us.

Fabulous Hotel with stunning views for a quiet week relaxing. A very well ran hotel, so so clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful! We were half board and the breakfast is fab and caters for eveyone and has a wide variety! Dinner buffet was ok we ate out which we always do. The food wasn’t bad but it was fine dining either! The one night we ate in the hotel it was fine can’t complain. The pool area is gorgeous plenty of space and I can’t reiterate enough how clean this hotel was. Our room was lovely spacious with a balcony and fabulous views - it was cleaned every day! One thing noting is it is on a mountain and there is a climb up to it and your room although there is a little minivan on all day to take people up ans done to pool area if needed. There is also a gym outside for those fitness ******* like us we used the gym and it had more than enough to do a workout in the sun! We would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking a really quiet relaxing time and would def come back to it again!

This is a long review as I wanted to go into detail.

Location:
It's 40mins drive from corfu old town and the air port, it's longer via bus.
The hotel is set on a very steep hill and the higher the room number the longer the walk.
There a few restaurants, shops and the beach all within a 5-6min walk.
The hotel does offer good views on a clear day you can see corfu old town and Albania.

Rooms:
We had a superior double but it looked nothing like the pics on the website with the only difference being it had a brown wall and was a further walk.

Food:
They do have a menu on display but not sure why as they didn't stick to it, the food was very samey with very little variation each day. And with the exception of one or two things everything was Luke warm at best this goes for both dinner and breakfast. It's bit of a free for all as they don't check your room and walk you to a table so nights if it's busy then you have to wait for the restaurant to clear to be able to eat (we didn't eat till gone 8.30 on some nights due to this)

Pool area:
Lovley area not enough sun beds but the view is lovely. The pool is a fresh water pool and it's cold! There is a snack bar which is very reasonably priced but very basic.

Service:
Overall the service was good some stuff better then others but we had no reason to complain.

Parking:
There is a main car park next to reception which gets full very quickly, if you have hired a car then you have small parking area on each level but it can be very tight and it's an awkward drive up and down.

Overall:
The view is the selling point for this hotel so if your unfit or have mobility issues then it's no advised. Some live entertainment and staff are nice enough.

We had a lovely tiime at the Hotel duing our week there and everything was considered to be good. The food and displays were excellent and we considerd our room one of the best on the site, with the views from our balcony overlooking the bay towards Corfu town. We used the inexpensive bus services from the main road which is downhill and takes only about 6/7 minutes to the stop. Do try the bus that goes to the other side of the island to Paleiokastritsa - (PKsa) although only one going in the morning and one back early evening, but if stuck you can get to PKsa and back via the route to Corfu town. Check out the bus timetables. Also, take a trip around the coast to the north - very wigley but impressive scenery nonetheless. For the long distant buses you pay in cash when on board. Some buses can be busy but most times we managed to sit on a seat.

They claim that they are 3 star hotel, in some point maybe, but they have to try harder. If you go there you may not get room you saw in pictures in real they look worse. Second day, we got "superior" room. Just because in a room was super king size bed? Hotel have some issues with drains, with cleanliness and hotel boss I gess should look after her daughter (she was everywhere and behave not like supposed). Hotel is really in nice plase, but I not recommended. By the way food very basic

I really enjoyed our stay here, it's in a beautiful location, and the staff were friendly. . I'm quite fussy about food, but could find something enjoyable to eat every mealtime.. usually two or three different meals I would eat... And with me, that almost never happens...
Seeing other reviews... Yes, it's on a steep hill, that is quite hard work, but if you ask there's usually a car available to take you up to your room or down to the main road.
There are some wasps, but I didn't think it was any worse than anywhere else really...
It's not a super polished hotel.. it's a little bit rustic, but actually quite stylish as well, the rustic nature wasn't a problem, and in my view add charm..
We had a basic room, it had an amazing view, although you can't actually see the beach, but the beach isn't the best thing you need to see... So not a problem... The room was clean, and did everything it needed to.. bathroom was a little small, but big enough...
I would happily visit again, thoroughly enjoyed it.. As long as you don't need absolute perfection at every turn, and everything to be just like at home I'd recommend this hotel definitely.
If you like everything absolutely perfect, and like home, you're going to need a much more expensive hotel... Or stay home...

We have just returned from a 10 night half board stay at this hotel in a deluxe double room booked via Jet2. On arrival after a quick check in we were driven to our room 304, an end room with fabulous side and front views. The room was delightful with a huge comfortable firm bed with crisp white linen and a choice of two types of pillows. The room had air conditioning, full size fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV, dressing table and bedside tables, the only lighting being soft wall lights. A walk in storage area proved a large clothes rail with hangers, a hanging shoe rack, a large block of storage cubes and a small safe. The bathroom provided a lovely glass screened shower cubicle, toilet, handbasin and hairdryer. Shower / shampoo gel and hand gel as well as toilet paper were in plentiful supply. The towels and linen were changed regularly and the room was always cleaned well. It was so comfortable. The safe and air conditioning were free of charge. Tea and coffee sachets were not replaced, but there is a supermarket not far from the hotel. We had a decent size balcony with two arm chair sized chairs and a glass table. A drying rack was also provided. In terms of items to take with you I would suggest some extra coat hangers, a few pegs, tea bags and coffee and hair conditioner if you can't live without it! The food in the restaurant and the pool bar was probably the best we have had on holiday in terms of choice and taste. Greek food was in abundance and was well received. The pool bar food being great value for money, tuna club sandwiches and hand made pizzas are well worth trying. The staff were attentive and friendly and food was constantly being replenished. Bar prices were reasonable and the cocktails looked amazing although we stuck to beer, wine and water. The pool area was large and sun bed availability was never an issue. The staff are amazing and we loved interacting with them. It really was a pleasure to stay here! The hotel has more of a hotel village feel to it due to the layout and was quiet and relaxing and well kept. The price you pay for the fantastic views is the not so fantastic hill walking to get about but it did get easier the longer we were there! The hotel offers transport should you need it. The public areas are modern and well thought out, no expense spared here. We had a great relaxing holiday and would like to say a big thank you to all of the staff as well as the ever present and friendly owners. We would suggest that every hotel in Corfu should aspire to the high standards delivered by this gem of a hotel! Hopefully we will return in the near future.

I have absolutely nothing to complain about: everything was excellent during my family and my accommodation at this pittoresque hotel: From the very beginning we were welcomed with large smiles at the reception, Ms. Eleftheria was the receptionists that welcomed us, and also the one that we said goodbye to. The rooms are exactly what you need when you come back after a long day at the beach, under the greek sun: very clean, the shower has good pressure, hot water comes immediately, the shower gel is completed daily, the sheets are changed every 3 days, the towels, daily; the AC works great, but the most important thing is the view to the Ionian Sea! At the restaurant, everyone is smiling for real, no fake smiles, everybody just uses every second to help you. The girls at the breakfast and dinner are basically running to make up the tables, to clean them up, to bring new food, which by the way is very varied, you can eat almost every day something new. The guys with the minivan do a great job bringing up and down the street lazy tourists like me. Sorry if i forgot something, and the conclusion is simple as that: after seeing half of Europe, Hotel Pantokrator is in my top 3 hotels.
Efharisto poli! ❤️ 🇬🇷
