I really enjoyed our stay here, it's in a beautiful location, and the staff were friendly. . I'm quite fussy about food, but could find something enjoyable to eat every mealtime.. usually two or three different meals I would eat... And with me, that almost never happens...
Seeing other reviews... Yes, it's on a steep hill, that is quite hard work, but if you ask there's usually a car available to take you up to your room or down to the main road.
There are some wasps, but I didn't think it was any worse than anywhere else really...
It's not a super polished hotel.. it's a little bit rustic, but actually quite stylish as well, the rustic nature wasn't a problem, and in my view add charm..
We had a basic room, it had an amazing view, although you can't actually see the beach, but the beach isn't the best thing you need to see... So not a problem... The room was clean, and did everything it needed to.. bathroom was a little small, but big enough...
I would happily visit again, thoroughly enjoyed it.. As long as you don't need absolute perfection at every turn, and everything to be just like at home I'd recommend this hotel definitely.
If you like everything absolutely perfect, and like home, you're going to need a much more expensive hotel... Or stay home...

I have absolutely nothing to complain about: everything was excellent during my family and my accommodation at this pittoresque hotel: From the very beginning we were welcomed with large smiles at the reception, Ms. Eleftheria was the receptionists that welcomed us, and also the one that we said goodbye to. The rooms are exactly what you need when you come back after a long day at the beach, under the greek sun: very clean, the shower has good pressure, hot water comes immediately, the shower gel is completed daily, the sheets are changed every 3 days, the towels, daily; the AC works great, but the most important thing is the view to the Ionian Sea! At the restaurant, everyone is smiling for real, no fake smiles, everybody just uses every second to help you. The girls at the breakfast and dinner are basically running to make up the tables, to clean them up, to bring new food, which by the way is very varied, you can eat almost every day something new. The guys with the minivan do a great job bringing up and down the street lazy tourists like me. Sorry if i forgot something, and the conclusion is simple as that: after seeing half of Europe, Hotel Pantokrator is in my top 3 hotels.

We recently stayed at Pantokrator Hotel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the room was great for 2 people clean and well-appointed. It provided a very comfortable and relaxing stay. However, the "sea view" advertised was quite misleading; it was more like a partial glimpse of the sea at best.

Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. The quality was disappointingly low, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the pool bar was overpriced, and despite spending over hundreds of euros there, the bartender refused to give me a cup with ice cubes to drink the sprite I got in my backpack. This level of service was quite frustrating.

If the hotel could address these issues, it would greatly enhance the guest experience.

The Pantokrator is a great hotel. It's not extravagant but is just friendly and extremely well run. The food is great (we were half board) and plentiful, and the bars are reasonably priced.

Some reviewers have commented on the fact the hotel stretches up the hillside, and it is quite a hike from the main building to the accommodation areas, but there is a shuttle bus if you really need it, and to be honest, getting a few extra steps in on holiday is probably no bad thing. The layout may not be suitable for some with additional accessibility needs, but for most, it is a compromise that is more than worth it.

Barbati itself is lovely. Quiet, but not too quiet, and definitely far more relaxing than some of the more mainstream resorts like Ipsos and Sidari. It's only 40 minutes from the airport too.

My recent stay at Hotel Pantokrator in the charming village of Barbati on Corfu Island was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and professionalism that set the tone for the entire experience.

The rooms at Hotel Pantokrator are not only beautiful but also impeccably clean, providing a serene and comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the island. Waking up to the stunning views of the sea and Mount Pantokrator from our room was a highlight of our stay, truly breathtaking.

The staff at Hotel Pantokrator are the epitome of hospitality, always going above and beyond to ensure that guests feel welcome and well taken care of. From the friendly front desk team to the attentive waitstaff in the restaurant, every interaction was met with a genuine smile and a willingness to assist.

Speaking of the restaurant, the food at Hotel Pantokrator is simply divine. Each meal was a culinary delight, showcasing the flavors of Corfu with a modern twist. Whether enjoying breakfast overlooking the sea or indulging in a romantic dinner under the stars, every dish was expertly prepared and served with flair.

One standout moment was upon check-in, where a courteous driver whisked us away to our room and graciously assisted with our luggage, setting the tone for the level of service we would receive throughout our stay.

Overall, Hotel Pantokrator exceeded all expectations and deserves every bit of its five-star rating. For anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable getaway on Corfu Island, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Pantokrator.

The views are spectacular. The restaurant staff is very well trained, polite and helpful. The food is fresh, varied and tasty for breakfast and dinner. I got a standard room and is very basic and needs some renovation, the AC is old, the bathroom is old, the mattress is soft and old. Also the staff at the reception is totally inflexible considering these times when flights are getting cancelled, delayed or postponed.

They say this is the room with a sea view. This place is absolutely a scam. Half of their rooms don’t have a sea view.

After I complain about the view and my room, they gave me another room with a broken shower and stinky toilet(room 101). 💆🏼‍♂️They also told me they are fully booked out so nothing is helping me to get what I paid for.

Things can go wrong. I understand but this place failed at hospitality. Poor receptionist women had also a tough time helping me out but the management of this hotel is ridiculous.

Honestly, the wifi is so bad that I quit using it after a few tries. Their routers are having IP conflicts. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Having just spent a week at the Hotel my husband and I cannot praise the staff enough. They work tirelessly to ensure everyone's needs are catered for.We stayed on a half board package the food was delicious and plenty of choices. The views from the hotel were just breathtaking. On a personal note I can't thank the staff enough when my husband reacted to a wasp sting the staff at reception couldn't do enough to help and we were able to continue having a fabulous holiday .I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel we will definitely be back.

I stayed here for 5 days after my original trip in 2020 was cancelled due to covid.

The staff were wonderful in assisting in rebooking my trip and my stay was one of the best I have had.

The view is spectacular and the room is clean and comfortable.

The buffet breakfast and pool were highlights.

Despite being a bit far from Corfu town there are many restaurants and cafes closeby and enough to keep you entertained for a week or so.I would definitely return again and highly recommend it.

Very great hotel with incredibly friendly staff and amazing views of the coast of the island. The rooms are nice and have a fantastic view and the food is also great. I would come back any time I visit Corfu and I can highly recommend it. It has also a really good location as it is nice and quiet and you can visit the beautiful North and west of Corfu. :)
