Sirena Beach Hotel in Gouvia

I have a fondness for the resort of Gouvia on Corfu and like to try different properties on each visit. The Sirena beach is at the north end of the resort, tucked down a small side road towards the beach, meaning of course there is direct access to the beach from the side of the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and my room was a good size with the usual facilities (no kettle for early morning tea sadly). The balcony faced towards the sea but did not have an uninterrupted view. Nonetheless it was bight and airy. Bathroom good sized with hot water for showers always available. Breakfast was typical Greek style, more continental than English fried but perfect to set up a day expiring or at the beach. There is a small bar staffed in the evening but no pool. It is just a few minutes walk to all the bars and tavernas in Gouvia. A ten minute walk to a big supermarket or the frequent bus into Corfu Town (1 euro 50 one way prepaid at machine)
