In the 17th century the building was a noble mansion of a noble family, and only in 60-e years of the XX century it was converted into a hotel. Here guests can feel part of history while enjoying the service of the XXI century. Lovely relaxing atmosphere ideal for unforgettable holidays.

This is an established hotel with a quite a lot of charm, in a really good location, with wonderful & attentive staff. The service alone is enough to permit me to forgive the room being poky + smelling of cigarettes, but I must say the twin beds were comfortable, and we had a lovely view from the window. Eating on the roof is a MUST - for the experience, the view and the food, although the wine is totally overpriced.

Absolutely loved this rooftop. Perfect for drinks or dinner! Myself and my husband had both on two separate occasions. The staff were lovely always and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend to other visitors if ever coming to Corfu. I’d also advise trying to get up for sunset- the views are gorgeous!

Hotel Cavilieri is perfectly placed in Corfu city. On arrival at night, we opened our curtains and the sight of the Old Fortress at night was amazing.
The hotel overlooks the lovely park of the Spianada, slightly away from the noisy Old Town centre, but close enough to walk there easily to the hundreds of restaurants and tavernas. The old Fortress is easy walking distance.
The hotel is built in the old style and the rooms could use refurbishment, especially the bathrooms. Having said that, we were very comfortable and everything was kept very clean.
The staff were exceptional, all very friendly and helpful.
We had a superior room facing the sea and the views were breathtaking, night and day.
We would recommend for those who value professional, friendly service in a traditional building.

We always stay at The Cavalieri whenever in Corfu town. Unrivalled location commanding spectacular views of the old Venetian fortress; spotlessly clean, simple but elegant. My partner is not very fond of their breakfast service, but I love it. Do have a drink at the roof garden too.

We had a one night stay in a lovely sea view room that catered well for a family or four for the price. It was tricky to find similar elsewhere. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The location is great.

Lovely! A warm welcome and friendly service. Delicious buffet breakfast with all kinds of treats. Our family room was a large duplex and even had two bathrooms!

In 62 years of wonderful places, stayed in, eaten in and enjoying positive service from. The Cavalier deserves it's reputation as up there with the best in the world.
Congratulations to the helpful lady on reception and the perfect customer service from the gentleman who looked after us in the lobby and the bar.
All our requests were met, and with weather outside exceeding 32 degrees, drinks in the air conditioned bar only minutes away from the old town shops and eateries.
I discovered an incredible micro coffee brewer two doors down who described coffees from Columbia, Africa, Ethiopia, etc.
Congratulations to the helpful lady on reception and the perfect customer service from the gentleman who looked after us in the lobby and the bar.

This was.my first time on the island, but I am so pleased I found this hotel to begin my stay. Very comfortable room, fabulous views, and.very traditional. WiFi good, free. Great breakfast, as a veggie lots of choice. This is a traditional hotel. It doesn't have rainforest showers, minibars etc, but it has swifts nesting outside the door, a view over the trees of the old Fort, and direct views of the bay and islands.
