Thirides Beach Resort

So the rooms are beautiful and the grounds are so serene. I love the fact that it’s on the beach but the on the beach crew are some of the most HORRIBLE SERVERS I have encountered.

I watched them avoid us like the plague and skip over us multiple times to take the orders of everyone else around us. And even when I flagged them down they still acted as if I was bothering them. They were non friendly, one was overly aggressive in his approach, and they took their sweet time to get us coffee and by sweet time we are talking 45 mins to an hour and there was not that many people on the beach at the time.

We still noticed that they were able to get the drinks of everyone else around us. So the place is beautiful but the servers make the experience horrible. I was excited when I got here but they just destroyed any level of excitement for me. You start asking yourself what am I paying for if I’m being treated like this at a resort? It makes no sense.

It’s only getting two stars because the resort is so nice. If that was bad you can rest assured that it would only be one star.

i big disappointment - we stayed at the hotel and we had 3 rooms booked with friends. We booked the semi basement rooms, and while the rooms were clean they smelled of mildew and mold. I had specifically asked if they had mosquito nets on doors and while they confirmed that they did, the room we ended up with had one that was broken and did not work. After my insistence they replaced it 24 hours later but made a big deal out of it. A huge disappointment - its one thing to say the room is a semi basement and quite an other that there is never any sunlight and you always need to have the light on, the rooms smell and there is absolutely no way to keep the mosquitoes and bugs out
