Astra Suites

We travel a lot and to say that the Astra Suites is hands down the best hotel and staff says a lot! From the breathtaking views of the hotel, which is unreal until you experience it, to the front desk staff and Myra arranging our tours and dinner reservations , to the turn down service of the rooms, and breakfast served each morning by Nick, there just isn’t a detail missed. They even surprised me with a birthday cake on my birthday!
Santorini should only be experienced this way and I will always stay at the Astra Suites.

The single greatest hotel suite I've ever been to. The view was unreal from the hot tub suite. The food was great, the service was great, the room and the view are like a fairy tale.

Definitely not handicap accessible, the hotel can only be reached via extensive stairs.

From the moment Mayra met us from the taxi until the moment we reluctantly said goodbye, we felt cared for like family. She and Max, run a tight ship while never losing sight of Greek hospitality. I made an error booking a boat tour and she quickly got us rebooked the next day. They made several excellent restaurant recommendations and helped us track and confirm our other excursions. Not only is this hotel, centrally located in Imerovigli, it has the perfect caldera and sunset views. Our suite was very large, private and immaculately cleaned daily. We had a small kitchen area and plenty of storage. When we asked them to warm up the water in our jacuzzi, it was done immediately. Their pool is gorgeous overlooking the caldera. The whole experience was like a dream. PS don't miss out on their restaurant Five Senses. It was lovely.

The team at Astra suites were amazing looking after us and helping us celebrate our Anniversary. We stayed in a suite, room 303 with an infinity pool. The views were magical. The bedroom was very comfortable and the shower was fabulous. Breakfast each day was a treat as well as our room service orders so we could sit at our pool and enjoy the view. There are plenty of stairs being Santorini so we packed light so we didn’t have to haul big bags - the staff are also amazing and grab the bags from the drop off up in Imerovigli so you can walk down to the resort. We booked dinner at five senses located in the resort which was amazing as well. We also did a day cruise and a sunset cruise on catamarans which we loved both times.

September 15-18 2024: Excellent. The room was huge, clean and with a private balcony overlooking the Caldera. We loved that the toilet was behind a separate private door from the shower area, this made getting ready very efficient. The breakfast was served each morning on our private balcony and included the selection we had specified on our breakfast menu cards. Each evening we had chocolates or a special gift left for us by the hospitality and housekeeping team. This was unique to Santorini and made us feel extra special. We dined here at the hotel’s restaurant Five Senses on our last night and enjoyed the first row degustation menu which was the meal that kept giving – each course was more and more delicious and beautifully plated than the last. Worth every penny! We loved our host here, John, who was the most hospitable and kind person we met in all the islands. During our days in Santorini, we enjoyed the cliff walk from Immerovigli to Fira, the Santorini Sailing experience and visit to Oia town. In the evenings we enjoyed a sunset wine tasting and dinner overlooking the Caldera from Santo Wines and frequent visits to lively Fira for nightlife. While in Oia, we made sure to arrive early to avoid crowds and ventured down to beautiful Ammoudi Bay for lunch – an experience we will always remember! But in all honesty, we knew we made the best decision to stay in Immerovigli as we loved how quiet and peaceful it was compared to the busy streets filled with tourists in Oia. By staying in Immerovigli we were able to explore all of the main towns with many opportunities to see the blue domes and variety of the different villages. Our one regret was not staying in Santorini longer. Had we known that ferry times in Greece can frequently change, we would have definitely stayed in Santorini for a fourth day as the delay did cut into our first afternoon on the Island. We will just need to return again – Santorini is truly heavenly!

From the moment we arrived at Astra Suites we were delighted with the way we were treated. The greeting was so warm and welcoming, we felt like family! Our stay was the experience of a lifetime. We loved our suite (103), the location was perfect. The view was truly spectacular. We were impressed at how clean everything was and how friendly every member of the staff was. We dined in the Five Senses Restaurant on May 11 which was Mother's Day (my favorite holiday of the year!). The staff in the restaurant made it such a memorable experience for us. The beautiful sunset, delicious and delectable food, and the kindness of the staff made it a wonderful evening of which we were very appreciative. There were so many little touches that meant so much to us. From the greeting when we arrived, our host explaining about the location with a map, a complimentary little snack of fruits and wine, an incredible breakfast on our balcony, chocolates in the evening, spending a little time with the pool bartender on a lovely afternoon, and the gentlemen that carried our bags for us. We were grateful for every single thing that they did to make our stay so enjoyable.

Our stay at Astra Suites was amazing! The view, the room, and the service were all above our already high expectations. The staff made our vacation a wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend Astra Suites to our friends and family.

If you are planning a trip to Santorini, there is absolutely nowhere else to stay but Astra Suites. Our room was very private, had stunning views, and was clean and comfortable. The staff were very kind and always ready to help. Their restaurant had amazing food and views as well. Astra Suites is centrally located and a quick 20 minute ATV ride to either side of the island. The town of Imerovigli is sophisticated, quiet, and just as beautiful as Oia. Our stay was absolutely worth the price you pay and the only thing we wish we did different was stay longer.

The hotel service is great! There is welcome wine in the room, afternoon wine in the afternoon, and good night chocolate in the evening. Breakfast is customized and delivered to the room.
The hotel can help you move your luggage up and down.

It is very convenient to walk to Fira

Our stay here was amazing from start to finish. The staff, food, room, pool, views .... I could go on and on. Delicious breakfast served each morning on my terrace was so relaxing! You couldn't ask for anything more than what you have here! I truly cannot wait to go back!!
