Astra Suites

I would rate it 10 stars if I could! Astra Suites was the best hotel I've ever stayed at, JUST based on the views, rooms, and amenities alone. The pool overlooks the caldera with stunning sunsets every single night. What pushes this quintessential hotel over the edge is the fact that they also have the NICEST staff in the world (so thoughtful, remembered our names, wished us a happy honeymoon with small touches) and a FANTASTIC food (breakfast and lunch at the hotel and a restaurant next door). Seriously it was one of the best meals we had on our trip. BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! You won't regret -- we'll be back for sure!

Great place to stay for a couple / romantic holiday. Great views, especially from the pool area, which is not too busy.

Rooms are very nice with impeccable house keeping. Staff are friendly and attentive which made our experience even better.

On a separate note, the restaurant has amazing views and delicious food so definitely recommend as well.

Overall great place to stay! Would come back!

Wonderful hotel in Santorini. Everything was great: the whole complex with swimming pools, the modern room designed with taste, varied breakfast with multiple healthy options. Top client service (particularly Hope and Katerina). Thank you very much for this unforgettable moment!

My studio no. 202 was good value for money. The studio is big enough for 1 person, but I think the room is too small for 2 people. The spacious terrace with a great view has a table with 2 chairs (no sun loungers), is spacious but unfortunately without shade. The pool has a fantastic location but again there is no shade. The person in charge of the pool refused to open the parasols because the wind was too strong. The argument is correct, but it was not possible to stay by the pool when it was over 30 degrees. The pool area was therefore empty. The hotel should urgently find a solution here, otherwise a stay at the Astra Suites in summer is not an option (unless you have a room with a private pool and covered terrace). The furnishing style is a bit dated compared to the newer hotels, but the rooms are well maintained and clean. The hotel has one of the best locations in Imerovigli with top views of the sunset. The staff are all very friendly and courteous. The breakfast is very good with a large selection and was delivered to the room on time. Several times I received a surprise gift in my room (fruit bowl, olive oil, wine, Prosecco, sweets), all very nice. Conclusion: The hotel scores with its personal, warm service. However, I would choose a different hotel for my next stay (at least in summer) with shaded areas by the pool or a pool suite at the Astra Suites (expensive).

The incredible location, view and morning breakfast patio can't be beat! Exceptional service and kindness from the concierge, pool bartender, and porters. Also, a late, quiet dinner at their restaurant Five Senses was one of our favorites over our long trip throughout Greece. Thank you!

Absolutely loved the Astra Suites. George and his crew took wonderful care of our family and provided us with a great experience. Loved 5 Senses, loved the location (out of the hustle and bustle but a short taxi or long walk into Fira), loved loved loved the views. We have already recommended it to friends and will continue to go there if we head back to Santorini. No place I would rather be.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in suite 306 at Astra Suites which exceeded my expectations in every way. The warm hospitality enveloped me, the impeccable service and the staff, all combined create the epitome of professionalism and courtesy. In short, Astra Suites is a true gem if you’re looking for a luxurious getaway or simply a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. 🩵🏖️🌊

Astra was one of the best experiences we have had in a long time. This is a boutique hotel situated in a very quiet and exclusive location of Imerovigli. Santorini can get busy but we felt this village was in the perfect location, easily walkable to Fira for more energy and choice and an easy cab ride to Oia (largest tourist area). The views and scenery are breathtaking over the caldera. We stayed in a suite that was comfortable and spacious. The reason we keep thinking about this place is the incredible service and workers. They are so well trained and genuinely care about your wellbeing, the standard was very high. From the reception desk to the team that delivered our amazing breakfast every morning, the staff was attentive, respectful, and did everything they could, to make our stay that much better. Special shoutout to Yiannis who hosted our welcome (and our dinning experience at the hotel's restaurant Five Senses), he was so warm and thoughtful we were lucky to have met him. Overall this hotel has the a standard of service so high, it will be difficult to stay at other places in the future. I highly recommend a stay at Astra (and eat at their restaurant for an incredible meal overlooking the Caldera), we will be back.

We travel a lot and to say that the Astra Suites is hands down the best hotel and staff says a lot! From the breathtaking views of the hotel, which is unreal until you experience it, to the front desk staff and Myra arranging our tours and dinner reservations , to the turn down service of the rooms, and breakfast served each morning by Nick, there just isn’t a detail missed. They even surprised me with a birthday cake on my birthday!
Santorini should only be experienced this way and I will always stay at the Astra Suites.
