The owners are the kindest people and made us feel so welcomed! The location is so perfect with the pool and the beach right on your front door. Was super clean and we loved our stay!

Mare Monte was a dream. It is a beautiful property, steps away from the beach with stunning views. Rooms are clean and the hosts (Lambros, Nikki, Katerina) are wonderful. They were very responsive, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the place to anyone visiting Ios!

Fabulous place! Absolutely beautiful grounds, rooms are simple but tasteful and Katerina & Lambros (don't forget Nicky!) totally epitomise Greek hospitality, it's like staying with friends! Add to that the great value, perfect location and you have a total winner!!! Can't wait to go back!

An amazing, peaceful, beautiful spot. Close to the port and across the road from the beach. The rooms are simple but clean, and the view from my balcony was amazing.

The hotel is in the country and has a bus stop 2 minutes away. From Mylopotas it is 10 minutes at the most and from the port 10-15'.

Excellent spot in the country (everything was next to and with easy access to MMM) with a great view of the whole island. The service was highly professional (all the staff are friendly and willing to help you to suggest activities) and the icing on the cake was the cleanliness. I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE

Great place to stay. Old hotel but with all the hospitality of Vaggelis, helping to make the stay very pleasant. Transportation to/from port by him was really helpful.

We have to be very honest this hotel is a must in Ios. If you have a chance to go to this island one day don’t hesitate to book a room there. They have everything from a fully fonctionnal room to a fantastic pool/bar. The owners are good and honest people willing to treat their guests as family that’s what hôtellerie is all about ! Prime location at port - can easily walk to port beach or take bus to the popular Mylopotas beach. Clean, calm atmosphere. Wonderful staff.

This place is spotless, new Towels and bedding everyday, room had quiet a/c comfy bed, and plenty of hot water from the shower, pool was warm and clean and the swim up bar manned from 10 am every day. Hotel is close to port area, but quiet, close to bars, bakery and restaurants, nearest beach 200,

We had an amazing stay at Poseidon hotel! Marina and Spiros were very welcoming and friendly. The location is fantastic, just a 5min walk to the beach and 15min to the city center and the view from the balcony and swimming pool are great. Thank you very much for your hospitality :)

Very close to the port which made it easy getting on and off the ferry. Jessica in reception was very friendly and helpful. It was a decent up hill walk to the centre but the bus was €2 and runs every 15 minutes to both Chora and Mylopotas. The hotel rooms were basic but very clean and the rooms have everything you could want.

Stayed 1 night at the Acteon hotel. Rooms are ok standard, but paper thin doors so you basically here everything going on ..... Nice view over the port and 10 steps from the bus to chora/mylopotas beach. So for 1-2 nights stopover it's ok, price too. 60 Euro, in high season.

I booked this hotel when I decided to break up my trip from Paros back to Santorini. I specifically wanted somewhere close to port and this hotel was easy to spot from getting off the boat. When you arrive you'll find a door with a sign for the hotel but it isn't obvious that what you need to do is call in to the adjacent Acteon travel agency and they'll complete registration there. We've just left after 4 nights staying at the Sunrise Hotel as part of an island hopping trip around the Cyclades. We booked based on reviews and value for money, just wanting a base for exploring the island. The hotel does have quite a 'young' feel with lots of people travelling etc staying there. This is a perfect hotel to stay in with very helpful and friendly staff. We were efficiently picked up at the port and returned there for our departing ferry all at no cost. Nice hotel in Ios town. We stayed in a 7-bed room, quite spacious, but with only one toilet. The view from this particular room was indescribable! Staying at this hotel you would think you were staying at a $100 or more night stay! The pool and pool area is nice. The rooms are pretty and clean with a nice view. The showers are a nice size and the balcony is beautiful. The receptionist was very helpful and it is near to the center of town. I will recommend this hotel to those I know and if I ever come back to Ios I will be staying here again.

Great breakfast in a great location overlooking the bay. The best hotel we stayed in during a month Island hopping in the Cyclades. We stayed in September and after nearly missing this island out for its reputation of been a party island, we saw absolutely no signs of this.

Marcos beach hotel is a wonderful hotel located near the beach and with very good facilities. There was a good quality of breakfast and the room was very clean . The outdoor area is quiet and with a nice view and I also appreciated that they have environmentally friendly solutions. Definitely would recommend!!

Petra Holiday was likely our best value-for-money hotel in the Cyclades. The apartments offer lovely shady terraces, the rooms are nice, with sea view, and it's super calm.
