Beautiful family run hotel with stunning rooms and courtyard views of the pool. We love the local family that run with place with such philoxenia and Greek generosity. Excellent buffet breakfast, the best aperol spritz on the island, and a beautiful beach a few yards away!

This is a five star boutique hotel if there ever was one. The view itself is gorgeous, but the atmosphere they have curated really adds a feeling of luxury. Mare Monte was a dream. It is a beautiful property, steps away from the beach with stunning views. Rooms are clean and the hosts (Lambros, Nikki, Katerina) are wonderful. They were very responsive, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the place to anyone visiting Ios!

The hotel is in the country and has a bus stop 2 minutes away. From Mylopotas it is 10 minutes at the most and from the port 10-15'.

Excellent spot in the country (everything was next to and with easy access to MMM) with a great view of the whole island. The service was highly professional (all the staff are friendly and willing to help you to suggest activities) and the icing on the cake was the cleanliness. I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE

Nice Place except for the Hill Climb! Everything is Great about this place, especially the view of the Town, except for the 1 Kilometre walk up a Very Steep Hill!! Made me only want to walk down and back into Chora once a day because of it… Hire a Car or Quad bike to commute around the island, you’ll be glad you did!!

Very close to the port which made it easy getting on and off the ferry. Jessica in reception was very friendly and helpful. It was a decent up hill walk to the centre but the bus was €2 and runs every 15 minutes to both Chora and Mylopotas. The hotel rooms were basic but very clean and the rooms have everything you could want.

I booked this hotel when I decided to break up my trip from Paros back to Santorini. I specifically wanted somewhere close to port and this hotel was easy to spot from getting off the boat. When you arrive you'll find a door with a sign for the hotel but it isn't obvious that what you need to do is call in to the adjacent Acteon travel agency and they'll complete registration there. We had a wonderful stay here! The hotel is in a perfect location, just a short walk from the beach. Petra Holiday was likely our best value-for-money hotel in the Cyclades. The apartments offer lovely shady terraces, the rooms are nice, with sea view, and it's super calm. This place was fantastic. A family business with really helpful and kind people. Both room and the pool were great and always clean. Its location is very convenient, 5' to the port and 10' to the village and there's also a bus stop with regular routes just outside the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and we strongly recommend it!
