Hotels in Ios Chora

One thing that I want to mention is that the private hot tub has a lot of sand in it, and it wasn't really warm... I know it was 40 degrees, but if there is a way for the customer to set the temperature, that would be helpful. Everything was so good, I felt this is luxurious place.

From the home made lemonade on arrival to our last evening sunset meal - everything was beyond perfect. The pool is an amazing place to kick back and relax, our room was incredible with sunset views over the bay, and the service was second to none. I’m already looking forward to our next visit. A Curate's Egg. The high point was the excellent reception and early check in. Unfortunately I chose a standard room which did not meet the usual business standard. The room was small with no chair or work surface and the bathroom was tiny (see photo). The service is excellent and breakfast is too so if you choose to stay here make sure to make a different choice to the one I made.

My husband and I went for a massage and Anna gave us the best massage we have ever had! The spa is so relaxing here and she is really professional and gives an excellent massage. Really nice views from the day beds there also. We love Anna!! ❤️

I was here in June 24' and I can honestly say it was one of the best places I have ever visited. The location was incredible, the service impeccable and the attention to detail was sublime. Perfect hotel, close to the beach, family run and cosy. The rooms are cleaned daily and there is parking nearby. You just need to cross the road for the beach and all of the restaurants, car rentals and a market is located in the port.

We had the best time at Mare Monte - decent rooms with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool that an amazing place to take a dip and catch the sun when the nearby beach was too windy. The hotel is in the country and has a bus stop 2 minutes away. From Mylopotas it is 10 minutes at the most and from the port 10-15'.

Excellent spot in the country (everything was next to and with easy access to MMM) with a great view of the whole island. Travelled all through Europe and never felt so comfortable in this hotel. Marina and her family were the nicest people we have met throughout all our travels. We stayed at Skala for 4 nights and everyone there was so accommodating. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home. The pool and pool bar were great if you wanted to hang around the hotel and they also helped us hire an ATV to explore the island. Would 100% be coming back to stay again.

Petra Holiday was likely our best value-for-money hotel in the Cyclades. The apartments offer lovely shady terraces, the rooms are nice, with sea view, and it's super calm. The host picked us up from the port and gave us a great overview of the town and various activities around upon arrival. Location is unfaultable, just across the road from the beach. Also has a bar open 8am-11pm and easy access to the port area and town. Rooms are spacious and have pretty much everything needed for vacation.

I don't understand all these low reviews. Yes the rooms aren't fancy and modern but they are clean, comfortable and authentic. The pool is fantastic.
