The hotel was immaculately clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. They advised us on some great excursions and helped us arrange car hire. There is a variety of high quality food. The beach is clean and safe and both indoor and outdoor pools were warm and inviting. The hotel also has a small marina where you rent self-drive boats, SUP's, or go on a guided boat trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back.
As a 62-year-old businessman with over 44 years of travel experience across six continents, I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, from 1-star to 5-star deluxe. I can confidently say that Kontokali Bay ranks among my top three hotels worldwide.
What truly sets this hotel apart is its staff. Their commitment to genuine, attentive, and caring service is exceptional. From the hotel attendants who were always ready to assist, to the front desk team who greeted us warmly and clearly explained the hotel facilities, every interaction was a pleasure.
The housemaids were exceptionally accommodating and attentive, always smiling and going out of their way to assist and ensure all our needs were met. The bar and restaurant staff — both at the sea-level and first-floor venues — were consistently courteous and obliging, even on the busiest evenings.
It is clear that the entire team is dedicated and hardworking, consistently delivering the highest standard of service. It’s no surprise that so many guests return year after year — one couple we met has been coming for 18 years!
Lastly, Corfu itself is a unique island, radiating warmth, hospitality, and genuine care for visitors — truly a gem to visit.

All staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. They treated all of us, especially our little boy so well and made us feel special.
Our private pool, ocean view room was stunning. The small touches of a beach bag and beauty bag was a great touch. And the products were very good.
Food was very good, the buffet always made sure it was a little different every night which goes along way as some buffet restaurants do put out the same food all the time.
