Location: 40 km from Corfu airport and 7 km from the towns of Acharavi and Kassiopi. From the hotel to Acharavi and Kassiopi sent a mini-bus schedule and appointment.
Evening entertainment: the village of Acharavi (7 km).
The total area of 35 000 m2.
Consists of a main building with Elevator and fifteen additional buildings (2-3 floors).
The hotel has 350 rooms.
Beach: public sandy (in the view of the Bay, across a small road from the hotel, gently shelving entrance to the sea), 50 meters from the hotel, 1 line. The entrance to the sea: sandy (sloped). Changing cabins, shower. On the beach umbrellas, sun beds: free. Pool towels: security Deposit (the pool bar). At the pool umbrellas, sun beds: free of charge.

If you're the sort of person who is looking for a "vibe" the vibe of this hotel is feeding time at the zoo. It is chaos and loud at breakfast and dinner, the staff have service stations alongside your tables and are constantly making loud bangs as they throw their cutlery into the cleaning pot. The walkways between tables become motorways of people rushing to gather more more more low quality food. You look around and all guests seem miserable. An absolute sensory overload.
Some may read this review and think I just hate alll Inclusive, actually that's not true. We also stayed at Corfu Holiday Palace and that is the perfect example of how to do an all inclusive. The vibe was calm and classy with high quality food and drinks, calm enjoyable settings.
Positives for Mareblue? The rooms are genuinely pretty good, definitely get a sea view. The Albanian mountains are beautiful. The small beach by the hotel is a gem, a lot nicer than the hotel pool. And of course the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Staff were very hit or miss and I was totally ignored by two different members of staff.
Entertainment in the evening was nothing special, especially because the bingo went on for ages and was very mundane, although the Greek night was a lot of fun. We would have stayed for the karaoke and partaken but this was one of the occasions where I was totally blanked by a member of the animation team which upset me so we decided not to stay.
The music in the evening was just too loud and I am glad we did not have children as it would have kept them awake and went on until 11pm.
The photography team are also everywhere trying to convince you to do a photoshoot with them for free which makes you feel pressured into doing it, even if you don’t want to. Whilst I understand they may work off commission, we did not really want to be approached like this as we were just trying to have a relaxing holiday.
The excursions were very good and a lot was offered for a very reasonable price. We took the trip to Palaiokastritsa which we would definitely recommend. The food was also good and there was a lot on offer.
Personally, we would not return unless the issues with the rooms and staff were sorted out but if they were, we would be back.
To town you have to buy tickets for both sides £16 by bus . Not so many activities around or at hotel. Evening entertainment very boring I would say.
