Hotels with beach in Makriyialos

The staff is very attentive (in the restaurant, bar, housekeeping, reception). The all-you-can-eat buffet, lots of choice, we loved especially the Mexican evening. The gourmet restaurant was delicious

Two animation teams are present, Kappa for the cultural side (hiking, cooking and cocktail lessons are great) and the international team for more traditional activities

Julie, Vincenzo, Ricardo, Thomas and Virgile were at the top !! Small downside: the hotel is located on the wrong side of the island, little activity around

nice hotel certainly but does not deserve a 5 * Too bad it is Far almost nothing to do or visit alone around. the south-eastern coast of the island is sad, the hotel is high up you have to trudge all the time it's tiring

Regarding the afternoon (queuing for a sandwich, no choice) near the pool. The catering is fine, there is plenty of choice, except that it's the factory, it's disconcerting especially in the evening it starts at 6

30pm they are all hungry lol and it's an impressive queue. Quite noisy room, they are almost all interconnecting it's horrible people are disrespectful. We were moved to another nice room but number 949

Everything you expect from such a place. Food was actually way better than expected. Right on the beach (mind the steps if you have a room on the highest floors) and perfect for spending your days on the beach.

Exactly what I needed! Beautiful view, great beach, clean, quite, amazing food and very friendly stuff! You need to come at least once 🍀👌

Artemis hotel is a somewhat tired 80's property with rooms that could use a renovation. Having said all the defaults, it is a family run property located literally on the superb beach of Malaria Gialos

The food is A M A Z I N G The People are very friendly The location is enchanting sitting next to the see VERY ROMANTIC and the prices are very reasonable

It is'a family run hotel with personal, kind, pleasant and attentive service. The food is excellent and typically Greek👍

Good place to relaxing, and spend time. Rooms are old, but its comfortable. When you close the door every time, there is very dark, because its not glasses but wooden. View is very nice.

Nice place with own beach, nice people, hotel - higher Greek standard (every day perfect cleaning) excellent homemade local food (perfect cooker)

It's a haven for local life but close to the beach and restaurants. Beautifully kept rooms, extremely clean and all of the staff were the best and made you feel welcome and like family. Always happy to help us.

We liked also is a freedom - you can stay at the sea side on free of charge sunbeds, you can swim at the swimming pool (with sea water) or simply you can seat at the outdoor restaurant and admire sea

Ionio Star is an exceptional place. Located not at the center but closed to it with proximity to the bakery, grocery shop and local bar, at the sea (you can swim if you are good swimmer)

It was clean-ish and i have not been charged extra for the air-conditioning. It was though somewhat surreal. Be prepared for an adventure. In the end only cash, no receipt...

What we liked is first of all fact that owner and his Family can show you what Greek Hospitality means. If you want - you can feel as part of Greek family

Can highly reccomand you to stay at Palmira Apartments! It's very family friendly! Very good service! Nice and quiet place! Close to the beach, supermarkets, restaurants, good weather and nice people..enjoy your stay!?☉?

From 8 till 19 june 2017 we stayed in Palmira apt. Again we were very pleased by the very clean apartment and the good care of Maria and Manolis. The village Makrisgialos is very relaxing

In my years of travel to Crete Palmeria Apts is the very best I mean the Very Best I have had the pleasure to stay at it is the finest. My Sincere thanks to my host Maria.

We were greeted by the owner who was such a friendly man, he made us feel so welcome and even gave us some wine which was a lovely gesture
