We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was friendly, the food was good and every part of the hotel very clean. At night it was fun to hang out with Martin, the barkeeper. We had a fun and relaxing vacation and we´ll definitely be back.

Ionio Star is an exceptional place. Located not at the center but closed to it with proximity to the bakery, grocery shop and local bar, at the sea (you can swim if you are good swimmer). What we liked is first of all fact that owner and his Family can show you what Greek Hospitality means. If you want - you can feel as part of Greek family. Breakfast is varied and certainly worth more than its cheap...

It was clean-ish and i have not been charged extra for the air-conditioning. It was though somewhat surreal. Be prepared for an adventure. In the end only cash, no receipt...

Everything you expect from such a place. Food was actually way better than expected. Right on the beach (mind the steps if you have a room on the highest floors) and perfect for spending your days on the beach.

Great beach and just up the road is a lady who sells homemade wine and great figs from a charming roadside stall. The Lybian sea is noticeably warmer that the Aegean sea on the north side of Crete.

This place is very peaceful and the staff is very kind! You have to try the breakfast with the local cheese pie, it’s delicious.

An incredible stay at Aspros Potamos! The cottages are amazingly beautiful with a strong taste of authenticity and rustic style. The surroundings are just amazing, luscious green, peacefulness and serenity just a couple of minutes away from amenities.

Amazing rooms, very clean and amazing service. The owners go out of their way to make you happy and satisfied. The apartment has breakfast and dinner (some of the best food I’ve had in Greece) And an amazing pool. I would 100% recommend as it’s very good value and overall a quality place to stay. 😁😁

Amazing experience. I recommend for couples seeking quiet place, but also for familly with childrens. Beach under the apartement is beautiful and also in high season you will be there almost alone (you have to descend several stairs and rocks). Hosts are very kind and have sense for details (dolphin mozaic in the pool, arrangement od flowers and rooms...) Breakfasts were likes from mediaeval feasts...

It is beautiful and hot in the august month. It is very beautiful and quiet with no one to distract you or annoy you. It is the perfect paradise.

A Lovely Hotel run by friendly helpful staff . Surpassed our expectations, super clean comfortable rooms with sea views on a quiet road . Only 4 minutes walking away from the main eating and drinking venues.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, right by the beach and walking distance to the city center. Rooms are clean and comfortable, though somewhat outdated and rather small for a family. There is a small playground for toddlers, but it closes at 8pm. Breakfast is available at extra cost. It might not be the cheapest, but they are very friendly and when we would order the hearty kids breakfasts...

Where to start? We are an enlarged, multi-generational family of 12. We stayed in a small village about 15-20 mins walk, for a sober adult. To book/order a taxi back to our apartments would take a while as they would have to come from the next town as there are no taxi firms locally. Lovely place, lovely people. Not their fault it was raining. There is no indoor pool at Cretan village, surprising as it is so large. Nowhere for people to go when the sun is not shining. Covered bar next to reception not open through the day, bit of a con having only the pool bars open when the weather is bad, Only one bus a day to Heraklion 9.15am back at 13.30pm. when you get to town, go upstairs...

Excellent stay at Villa Italiana. Lovely, clean rooms, with air-con when we needed it, set in wonderful mediterranean gardens. Just a short stroll from a good beach and tavernas. We also recommend Roza's food, it was so huge and delicious, it fed our family of four for 3 meals. I also loved the traditional Cretan breakfast Roza served us.

This place is fantastic. The studio rooms are modern and fully equipped including excellent WiFi. The bed was great. The garden is a work art that has been done with years of love. The host is charming and very helpful. She offers a very good (and large) breakfast for 6 Euros. The villa is a short walk to the public beach in Amoudara.

Everything! We had an amazing week at Lazar Lux Apartments. The staff was super friendly (especially to our little children), our apartment was extremely nice, the breakfast was really good, and a small problem in our room was fixed on the same day. It’s also just a short walk to a pretty nice beach which was really convenient.

My husband and I recently spent 2 nights at The Island Concept. It is a beautiful boutique resort in a gorgeous setting. Our room was very comfortable, with a private pool and seafront view. We had 6 nights here and had a wonderful time. A stunning location overlooking the bay and far off mountains. Our room was huge with its own small pool and large terrace together with sunbeds and wonderful views. Separate living room and TV and a bathroom that could have been bigger perhaps with a bath would have helped . Lovely clean and spotless decor. I found the bed a little on the hard side...

This hotel must have done some recent upgrades as room 401 had a fridge, stove sink, big shower, new floors, comfortable bed, no issues with cold/hot water, large patio and even a washing machine for clothes. All of this and it was the most affordable price in the area I 100% would recommend staying at this hotel! The owner was also lovely and helpful.

Nice low budget basic hotel, 5' walk from downtown. Host was super friendly, Wi-Fi worked well although premises would require renovation. Only downside the extra charge of €7/night for using A/C, which was not included on booking platforms. Good value for money overall (paid 30e/night)

Amazing room comfy bed and pillow, beautiful view from our balcony. We were given mugs, cutlery, coffee filters everything we needed. The pool was green and you was not able to swim in it. One cat and one dog!

Micheal was a wonderful host and Maria an amazing housekeeper. They made us feel like home! They both deserve a 10. The appartement itself really needs renovation. Lot of stuff are outdated or even slightly broke/damaged. Also the beds to sleep in aren't comfortable. With the help of Maria we fixed that for a couple of days but everything can use a upgrade. Its an old building falling apart here and there. Found it to be clean, neat and cheap. Wish they would top up on the kitchen utensils, kettle enough plates etc. for 4 people as it can sleep 4 and they do advertise as selfcatering. The manager I found totally over bearing and he smelled of alcohol.

Big studios with kitchen well equiped and bug enough bathroom. It is emplaced in aconvenient distance by Agios Nikolaos (3 km) and Elounda (10 min by car). There is a nice beach nearby at about 5-7 min walking. It has a beautiful view to the see and the personal is very friendly and kind.
