Hotel Simeon

New Clean and spacious room.Very friendly staff.Good breakfast and dinner too.

The stuff is very kind, nice and positive. The food is really delicious and great by quality and quantity.
The room is okay, satisfying the personal needs I had. Has stable and fast internet.
Pros: food and stuff
Con's: TV has only local channels, some package with international (music) channels should be included.

A nice 3* hotel. I recommend it (with or without kids).

STAFF
- hats off ! Always smiling, energic and ready to help or bring you something. Really, staff is one of the main assets of this hotel
- for instance, in our bathroom the glass shelf right under the mirror, got out of its place. Luckily, it didn't break – don’t ask me how, my wife managed to do this. We left in hurry and didn't report it in the morning, but when we returned in the evening, it was glued back in its place already !

The restaurant manager is a mature very polite, charismatic, fit, devoted, but also jovial gentleman, impeccably dressed. Always helping his staff. An emblematic figure.
The poolside bartender (Nikos) is also a very polite man, helpful, attentive, trying to provide the best advices if asked. He's also VERY nicely telling you to respect the rules (once, I wanted to take in my room the coffee from the breakfast, that was not allowed). This is THE way to act and behave. Cheers man! (btw, I found the self-service cars wash at the EKO station, all good).

BEACH
- 170m there's the hotel's private beach. 5 euros sunbeds
- we went to Golden Beach (sand), just next to it. 10 euros and 2 drinks included (in the pics)
- the water is stony and you must bring your water shoes (sea ​​urchins)

FOOD

Breakfast:
- it's good, but it could be a bit more diversified. The scrambled eggs look to me slightly overcooked (or too much milk, idk). 3-4 models are cycled, but another 2 or 3 types of different scrambled eggs can still be added, and these are really tasty
- sometimes egg eyes are included, really tasty. As well as the hard eggs
- Greek yoghurt, fruits yoghurt are ok as well. Yellow and brown cakes combine well with honey and milk
- I didn't like at all the cheddar cheese, nor the bacon, both are probably very cheap
- ness coffee (obviously), but I kinda expected that for 3*. However, if you're asking an Italian espresso at the pool's bar, it is really good and at a decent price.

Dinner:
- diversified and tasty. Both meat-eater and vegans could easily find something tasty
- always 2-3 meats, couple of vegan foods, one type of soup (tasty)
- desserts are quite poorly represented. Sometimes I skip it, although I like sweets

PARKING
- concrete-paved clean, 25 x 35 m, video surveillance. No trees, no shade at all

RESTAURANT
- spacious, always able to find a nice table, no matter the hour
- very nice terrace in continuation of the indoor cooled space, spacious as well, surrounded by nice green plants
- right in the front of it, next to the adults pool, you may relax drinking something, smoking etc. Those chairs are a bit uncomfortable tough, but after 10 days I got used to them
- good quality furniture and service

ROOMS
- Nicely painted, spacious. We had double room with 1 matrimonial bed and a small bed next to it. Restful sleep, good quality mattresses and pillows
- balcony enough for 2 adults. Wall-mounted drying rack for laundry hanging
- the roomy fridge really works, freezes like hell (used at half)
- nice, spacious bathroom. The shower is opened towards the door => water everywhere
- plenty of water pressure, it cuts off your hand at max
- good air cond
- sliding mosquitos net (no mosquito there, anyway)

WIFI
- very good coverage ind + outd, and throughput (not made only for show)
- sometimes, the wifi asks for authentication credentials. Possibly a phone’s feature issue
- Wifi also on the beach (Golden Beach)

MAIN POOL
- pretty. depth from 1.4 to 1.6m
- jacuzzi with decent water jets, manual operation
- in the opposite corner, a kids pool and separators from the main pool
- except 2 days when the water wasn’t so clean, it was nice and temperature just right

SUMMARY

If I’m picky, a couple of Cons:
- a bit under-diversified breakfast, but still ok (probably for 7 days’ vacation, all good). Desserts at dinner maybe

Great location. Nice, delicious food for dinner and breakfast... Fruits everyday. Juices and coffee for breakfast. Mosquito nets on the windows. Clean roms. Playground for kids is great. Big balconies. Everyday cleaning. Free parking.

Perfect location, helpful staff, delicious food, nice and clean rooms, here you can find all you need for a perfect vacation. This hotel is suitable for all ages, we were a group of 16, from 1 year old to 59 years old and all of us enjoyed our stay. There are 2 pools, one is perfect for childen and the other is good for swimmers. The pools were cleaned every day. For breakfast there was a wide variety of food: boiled egg, scrambled egg, fried egg, cheese, vegetables, yoghurt, gems, fried zuchinni and mushrooms, bruschetta, french toast, rice/semolina pudding, cereals and cakes... For dinner there always was some kind of fish, pork or chicken, rice, some kind of potato, steamed vegetables, one kind of soup, a lots of types of salads, feta cheese, desserts and fruits. The hotel is located in small village with a long beach, which is quiet and not crowded. The village is full of souvenir shops, restaurants, playgrounds and games, where you have to put coin to play with them. I highly recommend this hotel and Metamorfosi too.

What a little treasure! A late holiday to capture some sunshine before the UK Winter set in. Just a 6/5 day break with 4 great days and a grey Uk- Summer day Lovely, well-kept, clean hotel with very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff, from. Reception, bar, restaurant to cleaning. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a late arrival (10:30p.m.) and reception had arranged a lovely sandwich, fruit and bottled water bag for us ♥️ End of season break so many of the local cafes and restaurants were closing down, though some open in the evening. Beaches just a minute's walk away, sandy to pebbles. Clear water with fishes! Still able to brave a swim in the Sea and the Hotel pool, of which there were two. Clean pool and poolside facilities, and a bar by the larger one servicing hot and cold drinks and snacks, and some quite descent light meals Rooms were clean and tidy with sufficient space for 2 adults in out double plus single bed room with balcony and table/chairs. Air Con, but not required Restaurant, managed by Giannis and his three super service staff were excellent and genuinely interested in us and in making our stay perfect. As much food/coffee as you wanted for breakfast and evening meal. Nicely prepared and presented continental style breakfast, yogurts and fruit, mixed pastries and meats and salads for veggies ♥️ We beach-walked both south and north to Nikiti (~5 miles) which has more tourist shops, cafes, bakeries. You might want a car to go further afield for sightseeing and nightlife. As I mentioned, we were end of season, but we almost had everything to ourselves. Have to give a grateful shout out to our friend at Eoynep Market near the gardens ner the front who became our holiday friend. Lovely people! Would love to return for a more seasonal break.

We had a wonderful time in Hotel Simeon! Room was super clean, we had everything that we needed (air condition was working perfectly, fridge was super useful, beds were comfortable, toalet also clean, we had clean towels everyday); when it comes to food, breakfast and dinner were really good and tasty; there was planty of free parking; hotel was perfect start point to visit beautiful beaches in Sithonia.
