This hotel is so much more than just a lovely and peaceful place to stay at and explore the beauty of Crete. The owners and their staff are so welcoming, warm and caring, this truly makes the difference. I cannot recommend staying there enough. The rooms are beautifully and individually designed, the cleanliness is superb and the beds are very comfy. I have enjoyed the food that Kat prepares herself very much. If you are looking for a delicious fusion of Greek and French food, look no further. I have travelled solo and was always looking forward coming "home" after a day of exploring the North and East Crete. I felt so well taken care of. Alice is running a great pool bar and I recommend trying her creation "The Mad". The evenings with her and the other guests at the bar have been just wonderful. Alice and Kat had plenty of recommendations for me to visit in the area and further more are offering tours themselves. I highly recommend visiting the wonderful shepherd family at the Lasithi plateau with Kat. This has been a highlight of my stay in Crete. I recommend renting a car to be able to fully discover all the gems the region has to offer. From my point of view this hotel is a true gem and one of a kind. I can't wait for my next stay there. The jewel in Crete’s crown. A warm welcome awaits everyone. Perfect destination for anyone seeking calm and tranquility. The buffet breakfast is out of this world. Ask in the morning what chef is cooking for the evening meal. You’ll not find a better meal for miles (residents only). Enjoy pre dinner drinks at the open air bar. All 12 rooms overlook the pool and offer a sea view.

We stayed here for two nights in June. It is a great spot to relax. The hotel is in immaculate condition and Alice and Kat are great hostesses. The half board package is very good value. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have great views. The swimming pool area is beautiful. The resident cats are great.

Absolute perfection with hosts (Kat & Alice) to match! We’ve just spent one week here and really didn’t want to leave. Our apartment was on the top floor (Katerina) and was decorated and furnished in the typical Cretan colours of blue and white. The rooms were fresh, immaculately presented and exceptionally clean. There was everything you needed for your stay if you wished to cater for yourself. But why cook on holiday when Kat & Alice provide a superb breakfast, immaculately presented every morning to include: fresh bread, pastries, cake, a variety of cheeses/jams/honey, yoghurt, cereal, fruit and freshly squeezed orange. There’s also coffee aplenty and a selection of teas. You certainly get value for money. At breakfast each morning you find out what homemade meal the chef is creating that evening. A three course typical Cretan delight cooked by their chef. All fresh and great value for money. The hotel is situated on the edge of the village, surrounded by olive trees. The hotel and apartments have magnificent views over the olive trees to the coast and mountains. Alice runs her own bar on an evening with a long list of cocktails available. The swimming pool was well maintained and plenty of sunbeds and brolleys. There’s a car park with plenty of space. Can’t recommend the hotel highly enough. Kat and Alice are superb hosts who go the extra mile and are very welcoming.

Life is sweet in Milatos, the setting is exceptional and the welcome perfect. The succulent dinners, always local cuisine, a real treat. The two hostesses will be able to guide you on more confidential visits far from mass tourism, like Milatos Village. We will come back!

We had a great stay with Kat and Alice! The apartment is very well appointed, comfortable and with a magnificent view of the sea and the mountains! We took half board which we highly recommend! Everything was delicious! The bar is also a big plus for enjoying the sunset by the pool. Finally Kat and Alice are available hosts, full of advice and great kindness, it was a great pleasure to spend a week in their superb hotel! We will be back, that's for sure!

The place has us much more away from mass tourism. The apartment is simple but comfortable and sufficiently equipped. The breakfast is delicious as well as all the meals we had there. Very friendly! Kat and Alice are available and give excellent advice! Thank you for these 6 restful days!

Stunning location, gorgeous views from the rooms, not in a super tourist area. The owners are incredibly nice and make delicious food and drinks. And there's lots of cats running around. What more to ask for? A very special place.
